تثنیه 1

۱ 1 اردن، در بیابان عربه مقابل سوف، در میان فاران و توفل و لابان و حضیروت و دی ذهب باتمامی اسرائیل گفت.

These [are] the words which he spoke Moses to all Israel on [the] other side of the Jordan in the wilderness in the desert plain opposite to Suph between Paran and between Tophel and Laban and Hazeroth and Di Zahab.

۲ 2 از حوریب به راه جبل سعیر تا قادش برنیع، سفر یازده روزه است.

[is] one plus Ten day[s] from Horeb [the] way of [the] mountain of Seir to Kadesh Barnea.

۳ 3 پس در روز اول ماه یازدهم سال چهلم، موسی بنی‌اسرائیل را برحسب هرآنچه خداوند او رابرای ایشان امر فرموده بود تکلم نمود،

And it was in forty year in [the] one plus ten month on [day] one of the month he spoke Moses to [the] people of Israel according to all that he had commanded Yahweh him to them.

۴ 4 بعد ازآنکه سیحون ملک اموریان را که در حشبون ساکن بود و عوج ملک باشان را که در عشتاروت درادرعی ساکن بود، کشته بود.

After had defeated he Sihon [the] king of the Amorite[s] who [was] dwelling in Heshbon and Og [the] king of Bashan who [was] dwelling in Ashtaroth in Edrei.

۵ 5 به آن طرف اردن درزمین موآب، موسی به بیان کردن این شریعت شروع کرده، گفت: دستور ترک حوریب

On [the] other side of the Jordan in [the] land of Moab he undertook Moses he made clear the law this saying.

۶ 6 یهوه خدای ما، ما را در حوریب خطاب کرده، گفت: «توقف شما در این کوه بس شده است.

Yahweh God our he spoke to us at Horeb saying [is] enough for you remaining at the mountain this.

۷ 7 پس توجه نموده، کوچ کنید و به کوهستان اموریان، و جمیع حوالی آن از عربه و کوهستان وهامون و جنوب و کناره دریا، یعنی زمین کنعانیان و لبنان تا نهر بزرگ که نهر فرات باشد، داخل شوید.

Turn - and set out for yourselves and go [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] and to all neighbors its in the desert plain in the hill country and in the Shephelah and in the Negev and on [the] coast of the sea [the] land of the Canaanite[s] and Lebanon to the river great [the] river of Euphrates.

۸ 8 اینک زمین را پیش روی شما گذاشتم. پس داخل شده، زمینی را که خداوند برای پدران شما، ابراهیم و اسحاق و یعقوب، قسم خورد که به ایشان و بعد از آنها به ذریت ایشان بدهد، به تصرف آورید.»

See I set before you the land go and take possession of the land which he swore Yahweh to ancestors your to Abraham to Isaac and to Jacob to give to them and to offspring their after them.

۹ 9 و در آن وقت به شما متکلم شده، گفتم: «من به تنهایی نمی توانم متحمل شما باشم.

And I said to you at the time that saying not I am able to alone me to bear you.

۱۰ 10 یهوه خدای شما، شما را افزوده است و اینک شماامروز مثل ستارگان آسمان کثیر هستید.

Yahweh God your he has increased you and here you this day [are] like [the] stars of the heavens for multitude.

۱۱ 11 یهوه خدای پدران شما، شما را هزار چندان‌که هستیدبیفزاید و شما را برحسب آنچه به شما گفته است، برکت دهد.

Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your may he add to you like you a thousand times and may he bless you just as he spoke to you.

۱۲ 12 لیکن من چگونه به تنهایی متحمل محنت و بار و منازعت شما بشوم.

How? will I bear to alone me burden your and burden your and dispute[s] your.

۱۳ 13 پس مردان حکیم و عاقل و معروف از اسباط خود بیاورید، تاایشان را بر شما روسا سازم.»

Provide for yourselves men wise and understanding and known to tribes your so I may appoint them chiefs your.

۱۴ 14 و شما در جواب من گفتید: «سخنی که گفتی نیکو است که بکنیم.»

And you answered me and you said [is] good the word which you have spoken to do.

۱۵ 15 پس روسای اسباط شما را که مردان حکیم ومعروف بودند گرفته، ایشان را بر شما روساساختم، تا سروران هزاره‌ها و سروران صدها وسروران پنجاهها و سروران دهها و ناظران اسباطشما باشند.

And I took [the] chiefs of tribes your men wise and known and I appointed them chiefs over you leaders of thousands and leaders of hundreds and leaders of fifties and leaders of tens and officials of tribes your.

۱۶ 16 و در آنوقت داوران شما را امرکرده، گفتم: دعوای برادران خود را بشنوید، و درمیان هرکس و برادرش و غریبی که نزد وی باشدبه انصاف داوری نمایید.

And I commanded judges your at the time that saying hear between countrymen your and you will judge righteousness between anyone and between countryman his and between sojourner his.

۱۷ 17 و در داوری طرف داری مکنید، کوچک را مثل بزرگ بشنویدو از روی انسان مترسید، زیرا که داوری از آن خداست، و هر دعوایی که برای شما مشکل است، نزد من بیاورید تا آن را بشنوم.

Not you will pay regard to faces in judgment as the small as the great you will listen! not you will be afraid of anyone for the judgment [belongs] to God it and the matter which it will be [too] hard for you you will bring near! to me and I will hear it.

۱۸ 18 و آن وقت همه‌چیزهایی را که باید بکنید، برای شما امر فرمودم.

And I commanded you at the time that all the things which you will do!

۱۹ 19 پس از حوریب کوچ کرده، از تمامی این بیابان بزرگ و ترسناک که شما دیدید به راه کوهستان اموریان رفتیم، چنانکه یهوه خدای ما به ما امر فرمود و به قادش برنیع رسیدیم.

And we set out from Horeb and we walked all the wilderness great and awesome that which you saw [the] way of [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] just as he had commanded Yahweh God our us and we came to Kadesh Barnea.

۲۰ 20 و به شما گفتم: «به کوهستان اموریانی که یهوه خدای ما به ما می‌دهد، رسیده‌اید.

And I said to you you have come to [the] hill country of the Amorite[s] which Yahweh God our [is] about to give to us.

۲۱ 21 اینک یهوه خدای تو، این زمین را پیش روی تو گذاشته است، پس برآی و چنانکه یهوه خدای پدرانت به تو گفته است، آن را به تصرف آور و ترسان و هراسان مباش.»

See he sets Yahweh God your before you the land go up take possession of [it] just as he spoke Yahweh [the] God of ancestors your to you may not you be afraid and may not you be dismayed.

۲۲ 22 آنگاه جمیع شما نزد من آمده، گفتید: «مردان چند، پیش روی خود بفرستیم تا زمین رابرای ما جاسوسی نمایند، و ما را از راهی که بایدبرویم و از شهرهایی که به آنها می‌رویم، خبربیاورند.»

And you drew near! to me all of you and you said let us send out men before us so they may spy out for us the land so they may bring back us word the way which we will go up on it and the cities which we will go to them.

۲۳ 23 و این سخن مرا پسند آمد، پس دوازده نفر از شما، یعنی یکی را از هر سبطگرفتم،

And it was good in eyes my the thing and I took from you two plus ten men a man one to the tribe.

۲۴ 24 و ایشان متوجه راه شده، به کوه برآمدند و به وادی اشکول رسیده، آن راجاسوسی نمودند.

And they turned and they went up the hill country towards and they came to [the] wadi of Eshcol and they spied out it.

۲۵ 25 و از میوه زمین به‌دست خود گرفته، آن را نزد ما آوردند، و ما را مخبرساخته، گفتند: «زمینی که یهوه خدای ما، به مامی دهد، نیکوست.»

And they took in hand their some of [the] fruit of the land and they brought [it] down to us and they brought back us word and they said [is] good the land which Yahweh God our [is] about to give to us.

۲۶ 26 لیکن شما نخواستید که بروید، بلکه ازفرمان خداوند عصیان ورزیدید.

And not you were willing to go up and you rebelled toward [the] mouth of Yahweh God your.

۲۷ 27 و درخیمه های خود همهمه کرده، گفتید: «چونکه خداوند ما را دشمن داشت، ما را از زمین مصربیرون آورد، تا ما را به‌دست اموریان تسلیم کرده، هلاک سازد.

And you murmured in tents your and you said in [the] hatred of Yahweh us he brought out us from [the] land of Egypt to give us in [the] hand of the Amorite[s] to destroy us.

۲۸ 28 و حال کجا برویم چونکه برادران ما دل ما را گداخته، گفتند که این قوم از ما بزرگتر وبلندترند و شهرهای ایشان بزرگ و تا آسمان حصاردار است، و نیز بنی عناق را در آنجادیده‌ایم.»

Where? - [are] we going up countrymen our they have made melt heart our saying [the] people [is] great and lofty more than us [the] cities [are] large and fortified in the heavens and also [the] descendants of [the] Anakites we saw there.

۲۹ 29 پس من به شما گفتم: «مترسید و ازایشان هراسان مباشید.

And I said to you not you must be terrified! and not you must be afraid! from them.

۳۰ 30 یهوه خدای شما که پیش روی شما می‌رود برای شما جنگ خواهدکرد، برحسب هرآنچه به نظر شما در مصر برای شما کرده است.»

Yahweh God your [is] the [one who] goes before you he he will fight for you according to all that he did with you in Egypt to eyes your.

۳۱ 31 و هم در بیابان که در آنجادیدید چگونه یهوه خدای تو مثل کسی‌که پسرخود را می‌برد تو را در تمامی راه که می‌رفتیدبرمی داشت تا به اینجا رسیدید.

And in the wilderness where you saw that he carried you Yahweh God your just as he carries anyone child his on all the journey which you walked until came you to the place this.

۳۲ 32 لیکن با وجوداین، همه شما به یهوه خدای خود ایمان نیاوردید.

And in the thing this not you [were] trusting in Yahweh God your.

۳۳ 33 که پیش روی شما در راه می‌رفت تاجایی برای نزول شما بطلبد، وقت شب در آتش تا راهی را که به آن بروید به شما بنماید و وقت روز در ابر.

Who went before you on the journey to seek out for you a place to camp you in the fire - night to show you the way which you will go on it and in the cloud by day.

۳۴ 34 و خداوند آواز سخنان شما را شنیده، غضبناک شد، و قسم خورده، گفت:

And he heard Yahweh [the] sound of words your and he was angry and he swore an oath saying.

۳۵ 35 «هیچکدام از این مردمان و از این طبقه شریر، آن زمین نیکو راکه قسم خوردم که به پدران شما بدهم، هرگزنخواهند دید.

If he will see anyone among the men these the generation evil this the land good which I swore to give to ancestors your.

۳۶ 36 سوای کالیب بن یفنه که آن راخواهد دید و زمینی را که در آن رفته بود، به وی وبه پسرانش خواهم داد، چونکه خداوند را پیروی کامل نمود.»

Except Caleb [the] son of Jephunneh he he will see it and to him I will give the land which he has trodden on it and to sons his because that he filled after Yahweh.

۳۷ 37 و خداوند بخاطر شما برمن نیزخشم نموده، گفت که «تو هم داخل آنجا نخواهی شد.

Also with me he was angry Yahweh on account of you saying also you not you will go there.

۳۸ 38 یوشع بن نون که بحضور تو می‌ایستدداخل آنجا خواهد شد، پس او را قوی گردان زیرا اوست که آن را برای بنی‌اسرائیل تقسیم خواهد نمود.

Joshua [the] son of Nun who stands before you he he will go there towards him encourage for he he will give as an inheritance it Israel.

۳۹ 39 و اطفال شما که درباره آنها گفتید که به یغما خواهند رفت، و پسران شماکه امروز نیک و بد را تمیز نمی دهند، داخل آنجاخواهند شد، و آن را به ایشان خواهم داد تا مالک آن بشوند.

And little one[s] your who you said plunder he will become and children your who not they know this day good and evil they they will go there towards and to them I will give it and they they will take possession of it.

۴۰ 40 و اما شما روگردانیده از راه بحرقلزم به بیابان کوچ کنید.»

And you turn yourselves and set out the wilderness towards [the] way of [the] sea of reed[s].

۴۱ 41 و شما در جواب من گفتید که «به خداوندگناه ورزیده‌ایم، پس رفته، جنگ خواهیم کرد، موافق هرآنچه یهوه خدای ما به ما امر فرموده است، و همه شما اسلحه جنگ خود را بسته، عزیمت کردید که به کوه برآیید.

And you answered - and you said to me we have sinned to Yahweh we we will go up and we will fight according to all that he has commanded us Yahweh God our and you girded on everyone [the] weapons of war his and you regarded as easy to go up the hill country towards.

۴۲ 42 آنگاه خداوندبه من گفت: «به ایشان بگو که نروند و جنگ منمایند زیرا که من در میان شما نیستم، مبادا ازحضور دشمنان خود مغلوب شوید.»

And he said Yahweh to me say to them not you must go up and not you must fight for not I [will be] in midst your and not you will be defeated before enemies your.

۴۳ 43 پس به شما گفتم، لیکن نشنیدید، بلکه از فرمان خداوندعصیان ورزیدید، و مغرور شده، به فراز کوه برآمدید.

And I spoke to you and not you listened and you rebelled against [the] mouth of Yahweh and you acted presumptuously and you went up the hill country towards.

۴۴ 44 و اموریانی که در آن کوه ساکن بودندبه مقابله شما بیرون آمده، شما را تعاقب نمودند، بطوری که زنبورها می‌کنند و شما را از سعیر تاحرما شکست دادند.

And he came out the Amorite[s] who was dwelling in the hill country that to meet you and they pursued you just as they do bees and they scattered you in Seir to Hormah.

۴۵ 45 پس برگشته، به حضورخداوند گریه نمودید، اما خداوند آواز شما رانشنید و به شما گوش نداد.

And you returned and you wept before Yahweh and not he listened Yahweh to voice your and not he gave ear to you.

۴۶ 46 و در قادش برحسب ایام توقف خود، روزهای بسیار ماندید.

And you remained at Kadesh days many like the days which you remained.
