| نبوکدنصر پادشاه تمثالی از طلا که ارتفاعش شصت ذراع و عرضش شش ذراع بود ساخت و آن را در همواری دورا درولایت بابل نصب کرد. | ۱ 1 |
Nebuchadnezzar the king, made an image of gold, the height thereof, sixty cubits, the breadth thereof, six cubits, —he set it up in the valley of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
| و نبوکدنصر پادشاه فرستاد که امرا و روسا و والیان و داوران وخزانه‌داران و مشیران و وکیلان و جمیع سروران ولایتها را جمع کنند تا به جهت تبرک تمثالی که نبوکدنصر پادشاه نصب نموده بود بیایند. | ۲ 2 |
And, Nebuchadnezzar the king, sent to gather together the satraps, the nobles and the pashas, the chief judges, the treasurers, the judges, the lawyers, and all the rulers of the province, —to come to the dedication of the image, which Nebuchadnezzar the king, had set up.
| پس امرا و روسا و والیان و داوران و خزانه‌داران ومشیران و وکیلان و جمیع سروران ولایتها به جهت تبرک تمثالی که نبوکدنصر پادشاه نصب نموده بود جمع شده، پیش تمثالی که نبوکدنصرنصب کرده بود ایستادند. | ۳ 3 |
Then were gathered together, the satraps, the nobles and the pashas, the chief judges, the treasurers, the judges, the lawyers, and all the rulers of the province, to the dedication of the image, which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up, —and they stood before the image, which Nebuchadnezzar, had set up.
| و منادی به آواز بلندندا کرده، می‌گفت: «ای قومها و امت‌ها و زبانهابرای شما حکم است؛ | ۴ 4 |
And, the herald, proclaimed aloud, —To you, is given the word, O ye peoples, races, and tongues:
| که چون آواز کرنا و سرناو عود و بربط و سنتور و کمانچه و هر قسم آلات موسیقی را بشنوید، آنگاه به رو افتاده، تمثال طلارا که نبوکدنصر پادشاه نصب کرده است سجده نمایید. | ۵ 5 |
At what time ye shall hear the sound of the horn, the pipe, the lyre, the harp, the psaltery, the bagpipes, and all kinds of instruments of music, ye shall fall down and adore the image of gold, which Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up;
| و هر‌که به رو نیفتد و سجده ننماید درهمان ساعت در میان تون آتش ملتهب افکنده خواهد شد.» | ۶ 6 |
and, whosoever shall not fall down and adore, shall, instantly, be cast into the burning furnace of fire.
| لهذا چون همه قومها آواز کرنا و سرنا و عودو بربط و سنتور و هر قسم آلات موسیقی راشنیدند، همه قومها و امت‌ها و زبانها به رو افتاده، تمثال طلا را که نبوکدنصر پادشاه نصب کرده بودسجده نمودند. | ۷ 7 |
Wherefore, at the same time—when all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, the pipe, the lyre, the harp, the psaltery, and all kinds of instruments of music, they were falling down—even all the peoples, the races, and the tongues, —adoring the image of gold, which Nebuchadnezzar the king, had set up.
| اما در آنوقت بعضی کلدانیان نزدیک آمده، بر یهودیان شکایت آوردند، | ۸ 8 |
Wherefore, at the same time, drew near certain Chaldeans, —and accused the Jews:
| و به نبوکدنصر پادشاه عرض کرده، گفتند: «ای پادشاه تا به ابد زنده باش! | ۹ 9 |
they spake, and said, to Nebuchadnezzar the king: O king! for ages, live!
| تو‌ای پادشاه فرمانی صادرنمودی که هر‌که آواز کرنا و سرنا و عود و بربط وسنتور و کمانچه و هر قسم آلات موسیقی رابشنود به رو افتاده، تمثال طلا را سجده نماید. | ۱۰ 10 |
Thou thyself, O king, hast made a decree, that, any man who shall hear the sound of the horn, the pipe, the lyre, the harp, the psaltery and the bagpipes, and all kinds of instruments of music, shall fall down and adore the image of gold;
| و هر‌که به رو نیفتد و سجده ننماید در میان تون آتش ملتهب افکنده شود. | ۱۱ 11 |
and, whosoever shall not fall down and adore, shall be cast into the burning furnace of fire.
| پس چند نفر یهودکه ایشان را بر کارهای ولایت بابل گماشته‌ای هستند، یعنی شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو. این اشخاص‌ای پادشاه، تو را احترام نمی نمایند وخدایان تو را عبادت نمی کنند و تمثال طلا را که نصب نموده‌ای سجده نمی نمایند.» | ۱۲ 12 |
There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the business of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, —these men, have made thee, O king, of no account, thy god, they serve not, and, the image of gold which thou hast set up, do they not adore.
| آنگاه نبوکدنصر با خشم و غضب فرمود تاشدرک و میشک و عبدنغو را حاضر کنند. پس این اشخاص را در حضور پادشاه آوردند. | ۱۳ 13 |
Then, Nebuchadnezzar—with anger and wrath, gave word to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, then, these men, brought they before the king.
| پس نبوکدنصر ایشان را خطاب کرده، گفت: «ای شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو! آیا شما عمد خدایان مرا نمی پرستید وتمثال طلا را که نصب نموده‌ام سجده نمی کنید؟ | ۱۴ 14 |
Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it, with design, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, —that, my god, ye are not serving, and, the image which I have set up, are not adoring?
| الان اگر مستعد بشوید که چون آواز کرنا و سرنا و عود و بربط و سنتور وکمانچه و هر قسم آلات موسیقی را بشنوید به روافتاده، تمثالی را که ساخته‌ام سجده نمایید، (فبها) و اما اگر سجده ننمایید، در همان ساعت در میان تون آتش ملتهب انداخته خواهید شد وکدام خدایی است که شما را از دست من رهایی دهد.» | ۱۵ 15 |
Now, if ye be ready, at what time ye shall hear the sound of the cornet, the pipe, the lyre, the harp, the psaltery and the bagpipes, and all the instruments of music, ye shall fall down and adore the image which I have made, but, if ye shall not adore, instantly, shall ye be cast into the midst of the burning furnace of fire, —and who is the god that shall deliver you out of my hands?
| شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو در جواب پادشاه گفتند: «ای نبوکدنصر! درباره این امر ما راباکی نیست که تو را جواب دهیم. | ۱۶ 16 |
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego answered, and said to the king: O Nebuchadnezzar! we are not accounting it needful, concerning this, to answer thee.
| اگر چنین است، خدای ما که او را می‌پرستیم قادر است که ما را از تون آتش ملتهب برهاند و او ما را از دست تو‌ای پادشاه خواهد رهانید. | ۱۷ 17 |
If it is, our God, whom we serve, is able to deliver us, —out of the burning furnace of fire, and out of thy hand, O king, he will deliver.
| و اگر نه، ای پادشاه تو را معلوم باد که خدایان تو را عبادت نخواهیم کرد و تمثال طلا را که نصب نموده‌ای سجده نخواهیم نمود.» | ۱۸ 18 |
But, if not, be it known to thee, O king, —that, thy god, will we not serve, and, the image of gold which thou hast set up, will we not adore.
| آنگاه نبوکدنصر از خشم مملو گردید وهیئت چهره‌اش بر شدرک و میشک و عبدنغومتغیر گشت و متکلم شده، فرمود تا تون را هفت چندان زیاده تر از عادتش بتابند. | ۱۹ 19 |
Then, Nebuchadnezzar, was filled with wrath, and, the likeness of his countenance, was changed, against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, —he spake and gave word to heat the furnace seven times hotter than it was ever seen heated;
| و به قویترین شجاعان لشکر خود فرمود که شدرک و میشک وعبدنغو را ببندند و در تون آتش ملتهب بیندازند. | ۲۰ 20 |
and, to men, who were the mightiest men in his army, gave he word to bind fast Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, —to cast them into the burning furnace of fire.
| پس این اشخاص را در رداها و جبه‌ها وعمامه‌ها و سایر لباسهای ایشان بستند و در میان تون آتش ملتهب افکندند. | ۲۱ 21 |
Then bound they, these men, in their trousers, their tunics, and their cloaks, and their (other) clothing, —and cast into the midst of the burning furnace of fire.
| و چونکه فرمان پادشاه سخت بود و تون بی‌نهایت تابیده شده، شعله آتش آن کسان را که شدرک و میشک وعبدنغو را برداشته بودند کشت. | ۲۲ 22 |
Therefore, because the word of the king had raged forth, and the furnace was exceeding hot, those very men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, were slain by the flame of the fire;
| و این سه مردیعنی شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو در میان تون آتش ملتهب بسته افتادند. | ۲۳ 23 |
and, these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, fell down into the midst of the burning furnace of fire, fast bound.
| آنگاه نبوکدنصر پادشاه در حیرت افتاد وبزودی هر‌چه تمامتر برخاست و مشیران خود راخطاب کرده، گفت: «آیا سه شخص نبستیم و درمیان آتش نینداختیم؟» ایشان در جواب پادشاه عرض کردند که «صحیح است‌ای پادشاه!» | ۲۴ 24 |
Then, Nebuchadnezzar the king, was amazed, and rose up in haste: he spake and said to his nearest friends—Were there not three men, we cast into the midst of the fire, fast bound? They answered and said to the king, Surely, O king!
| اودر جواب گفت: «اینک من چهار مرد می‌بینم که گشاده در میان آتش می‌خرامند و ضرری به ایشان نرسیده است و منظر چهارمین شبیه پسرخدا است.» | ۲۵ 25 |
He answered and said, Lo! I, see four men, unbound, walking in the midst of the fire, and, injury, there is not in them, and, the appearance of the fourth, is like to a son of the gods!
| پس نبوکدنصر به دهنه تون آتش ملتهب نزدیک آمد و خطاب کرده، گفت: «ای شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو! ای بندگان خدای تعالی بیرون شوید و بیایید.» پس شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو از میان آتش بیرون آمدند. | ۲۶ 26 |
Then did Nebuchadnezzar, draw near, to the door of the burning furnace of fire, he spake and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, step forth and come hither. Then stepped forth Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, out of the midst of the fire.
| و امرا وروسا و والیان و مشیران پادشاه جمع شده، آن مردان را دیدند که آتش به بدنهای ایشان اثری نکرده و مویی از سر ایشان نسوخته و رنگ ردای ایشان تبدیل نشده، بلکه بوی آتش به ایشان نرسیده است. | ۲۷ 27 |
And—being gathered together—the satraps, the nobles, and the pashas and near friends of the king, saw these men, over whose bodies the fire had, no power, nor was, a hair of their head, singed, neither were, their trousers, disfigured, —nor had, the smell of fire, come upon them.
| آنگاه نبوکدنصر متکلم شده، گفت: «متبارک باد خدای شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو که فرشته خود را فرستاد و بندگان خویش را که بر اوتوکل داشتند و به فرمان پادشاه مخالفت ورزیدندو بدنهای خود را تسلیم نمودند تا خدای دیگری سوای خدای خویش را عبادت و سجده ننمایند، رهایی داده است. | ۲۸ 28 |
Nebuchadnezzar spake and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his messenger, and delivered his servants, who trusted in him, —when, the word of the king, they transgressed, and delivered up their bodies, that they might not serve nor adore any god, saving their own God.
| بنابراین فرمانی از من صادرشد که هر قوم و امت و زبان که حرف ناشایسته‌ای به ضد خدای شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو بگویند، پاره پاره شوند و خانه های ایشان به مزبله مبدل گردد، زیرا خدایی دیگر نیست که بدین منوال رهایی تواند داد.» | ۲۹ 29 |
Therefore do I make a decree, that, whosoever of any people, race, or tongue it be that shall charge any error upon the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and, his house, into a dunghill, shall be changed; because there is no other God, who is able to deliver, like this!
| آنگاه پادشاه (منصب ) شدرک و میشک و عبدنغو را در ولایت بابل برتری داد. | ۳۰ 30 |
Then, the king, advanced Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, in the province of Babylon.
