کارهای رسولان 14
| اما در ایقونیه، ایشان با هم به کنیسه یهود در‌آمده، به نوعی سخن‌گفتند که جمعی کثیر از یهود و یونانیان ایمان آوردند. | ۱ 1 |
In Iconium, they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Greeks believed.
| لیکن یهودیان بی‌ایمان دلهای امت‌ها را اغوانمودند و با برادران بداندیش ساختند. | ۲ 2 |
But the disbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers.
| پس مدت مدیدی توقف نموده، به نام خداوندی که به کلام فیض خود شهادت می‌داد، به دلیری سخن می‌گفتند و او آیات و معجزات عطا می‌کرد که ازدست ایشان ظاهر شود. | ۳ 3 |
Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who testified to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
| و مردم شهر دو فرقه شدند، گروهی همداستان یهود و جمعی با رسولان بودند. | ۴ 4 |
But the multitude of the city was divided. Part sided with the Jews and part with the apostles.
| وچون امت‌ها و یهود با روسای خود بر ایشان هجوم می‌آوردند تا ایشان را افتضاح نموده، سنگسار کنند، | ۵ 5 |
When some of both the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, made a violent attempt to mistreat and stone them,
| آگاهی یافته، به سوی لستره ودربه شهرهای لیکاونیه و دیار آن نواحی فرارکردند. | ۶ 6 |
they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, Derbe, and the surrounding region.
| و در آنجا بشارت می‌دادند. | ۷ 7 |
There they preached the Good News.
| و در لستره مردی نشسته بود که پایهایش بی‌حرکت بود و از شکم مادر، لنگ متولد شده، هرگز راه نرفته بود. | ۸ 8 |
At Lystra a certain man sat, impotent in his feet, a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked.
| چون او سخن پولس رامی شنید، او بر وی نیک نگریسته، دید که ایمان شفا یافتن را دارد. | ۹ 9 |
He was listening to Paul speaking, who, fastening eyes on him and seeing that he had faith to be made whole,
| پس به آواز بلند بدو گفت: «بر پایهای خود راست بایست.» که در ساعت برجسته، خرامان گردید. | ۱۰ 10 |
said with a loud voice, “Stand upright on your feet!” He leaped up and walked.
| اما خلق چون این عمل پولس را دیدند، صدای خود را به زبان لیکاونیه بلند کرده، گفتند: «خدایان به صورت انسان نزد مانازل شده‌اند.» | ۱۱ 11 |
When the multitude saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voice, saying in the language of Lycaonia, “The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!”
| پس برنابا را مشتری و پولس راعطارد خواندند زیرا که او در سخن‌گفتن مقدم بود. | ۱۲ 12 |
They called Barnabas “Jupiter”, and Paul “Mercury”, because he was the chief speaker.
| پس کاهن مشتری که پیش شهر ایشان بود، گاوان و تاجها با گروه هایی از خلق به دروازه هاآورده، خواست که قربانی گذراند. | ۱۳ 13 |
The priest of Jupiter, whose temple was in front of their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and would have made a sacrifice along with the multitudes.
| اما چون آن دو رسول یعنی برنابا و پولس شنیدند، جامه های خود را دریده، در میان مردم افتادند و ندا کرده، | ۱۴ 14 |
But when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of it, they tore their clothes and sprang into the multitude, crying out,
| گفتند: «ای مردمان، چرا چنین می‌کنید؟ ما نیزانسان و صاحبان علتها مانند شما هستیم و به شمابشارت می‌دهیم که از این اباطیل رجوع کنید به سوی خدای حی که آسمان و زمین و دریا و آنچه را که در آنها است آفرید، | ۱۵ 15 |
“Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of the same nature as you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them;
| که در طبقات سلف همه امت‌ها را واگذاشت که در طرق خود رفتارکنند، | ۱۶ 16 |
who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways.
| با وجودی که خود را بی‌شهادت نگذاشت، چون احسان می‌نمود و از آسمان باران بارانیده و فصول بارآور بخشیده، دلهای ما را ازخوراک و شادی پر می‌ساخت.» | ۱۷ 17 |
Yet he did not leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”
| و بدین سخنان خلق را از گذرانیدن قربانی برای ایشان به دشواری باز داشتند. | ۱۸ 18 |
Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them.
| اما یهودیان از انطاکیه و ایقونیه آمده، مردم را با خود متحد ساختند و پولس را سنگسارکرده، از شهر بیرون کشیدند و پنداشتند که مرده است. | ۱۹ 19 |
But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.
| اما چون شاگردان گرد او ایستادندبرخاسته، به شهر درآمد و فردای آن روز با برنابابه سوی دربه روانه شد | ۲۰ 20 |
But as the disciples stood around him, he rose up, and entered into the city. On the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.
| و در آن شهر بشارت داده، بسیاری را شاگرد ساختند. پس به لستره وایقونیه و انطاکیه مراجعت کردند. | ۲۱ 21 |
When they had preached the Good News to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch,
| و دلهای شاگردان را تقویت داده، پند می‌دادند که در ایمان ثابت بمانند و اینکه با مصیبتهای بسیار می‌بایدداخل ملکوت خدا گردیم. | ۲۲ 22 |
strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God’s Kingdom.
| و در هر کلیسابجهت ایشان کشیشان معین نمودند و دعا و روزه داشته، ایشان را به خداوندی که بدو ایمان آورده بودند، سپردند. | ۲۳ 23 |
When they had appointed elders for them in every assembly, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord on whom they had believed.
| و از پیسیدیه گذشته به پمفلیه آمدند. | ۲۴ 24 |
They passed through Pisidia and came to Pamphylia.
| و در پرجه به کلام موعظه نمودند و به اتالیه فرود آمدند. | ۲۵ 25 |
When they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.
| و از آنجا به کشتی سوار شده، به انطاکیه آمدند که از همان جا ایشان را به فیض خدا سپرده بودند برای آن کاری که به انجام رسانیده بودند. | ۲۶ 26 |
From there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled.
| و چون وارد شهر شدند کلیسا را جمع کرده، ایشان را مطلع ساختند از آنچه خدا با ایشان کرده بود و چگونه دروازه ایمان را برای امت‌ها باز کرده بود. | ۲۷ 27 |
When they had arrived and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations.
| پس مدت مدیدی با شاگردان بسر بردند. | ۲۸ 28 |
They stayed there with the disciples for a long time.
