دوم پطرس 1
| شمعون پطرس، غلام و رسول عیسی مسیح، به آنانی که ایمان گرانبها را به مساوی مایافته‌اند، در عدالت خدای ما و عیسی مسیح نجات‌دهنده. | ۱ 1 |
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:
| فیض و سلامتی در معرفت خدا و خداوند ماعیسی بر شما افزون باد. | ۲ 2 |
Grace and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
| چنانکه قوت الهیه او همه‌چیزهایی را که برای حیات و دینداری لازم است، به ما عنایت فرموده است، به معرفت او که ما را به جلال وفضیلت خود دعوت نموده، | ۳ 3 |
His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.
| که بوساطت آنهاوعده های بینهایت عظیم و گرانبها به ما داده شد تاشما به اینها شریک طبیعت الهی گردید و ازفسادی که از شهوت در جهان است، خلاصی یابید. | ۴ 4 |
Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
| و به همین جهت، کمال سعی نموده، درایمان خود فضیلت پیدا نمایید | ۵ 5 |
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith virtue; and to virtue, knowledge;
| و در فضیلت، علم و در علم، عفت و در عفت، صبر و در صبر، دینداری | ۶ 6 |
and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
| و در دینداری، محبت برادران و درمحبت برادران، محبت را. | ۷ 7 |
and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.
| زیرا هرگاه اینها درشما یافت شود و بیفزاید، شما را نمی گذارد که درمعرفت خداوند ما عیسی مسیح کاهل یا بی‌ثمربوده باشید. | ۸ 8 |
For if you possess these qualities and continue to grow in them, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
| زیرا هرکه اینها را ندارد، کور وکوتاه نظر است و تطیهر گناهان گذشته خود را فراموش کرده است. | ۹ 9 |
But whoever lacks these traits is nearsighted to the point of blindness, having forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.
| لهذا‌ای برادران بیشتر جد و جهد کنید تادعوت و برگزیدگی خود را ثابت نمایید زیرا اگرچنین کنید هرگز لغزش نخواهید خورد. | ۱۰ 10 |
Therefore, brothers, strive to make your calling and election sure. For if you practice these things you will never stumble,
| وهمچنین دخول در ملکوت جاودانی خداوند ونجات‌دهنده ما عیسی مسیح به شما به دولتمندی داده خواهد شد. (aiōnios g166) | ۱۱ 11 |
and you will receive a lavish reception into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (aiōnios g166)
| لهذا از پیوسته یاد دادن شما از این امورغفلت نخواهم ورزید، هرچند آنها را می‌دانید ودر آن راستی که نزد شما است استوار هستید. | ۱۲ 12 |
Therefore I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are established in the truth you now have.
| لکن این را صواب می‌دانم، مادامی که در این خیمه هستم، شما را به یاد آوری برانگیزانم. | ۱۳ 13 |
I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of my body,
| چونکه می‌دانم که وقت بیرون کردن خیمه من نزدیک است، چنانکه خداوند ما عیسی مسیح نیزمرا آگاهانید. | ۱۴ 14 |
because I know that this tent will soon be laid aside, as our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.
| و برای این نیز کوشش می‌کنم تاشما در هروقت بعد از رحلت من، بتوانید این اموررا یاد آورید. | ۱۵ 15 |
And I will make every effort to ensure that after my departure, you will be able to recall these things at all times.
| زیرا که در‌پی افسانه های جعلی نرفتیم، چون از قوت و آمدن خداوند ما عیسی مسیح شما را اعلام دادیم، بلکه کبریایی او رادیده بودیم. | ۱۶ 16 |
For we did not follow cleverly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
| زیرا از خدای پدر اکرام و جلال یافت هنگامی که آوازی از جلال کبریایی به اورسید که «این است پسر حبیب من که از وی خشنودم.» | ۱۷ 17 |
For He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to Him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
| و این آواز را ما زمانی که با وی درکوه مقدس بودیم، شنیدیم که از آسمان آورده شد. | ۱۸ 18 |
And we ourselves heard this voice from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.
| و کلام انبیا را نیز محکم تر داریم که نیکومی کنید اگر در آن اهتمام کنید، مثل چراغی درخشنده در مکان تاریک تا روز بشکافد و ستاره صبح در دلهای شما طلوع کند. | ۱۹ 19 |
We also have the word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
| و این رانخست بدانید که هیچ نبوت کتاب از تفسیر خودنبی نیست. | ۲۰ 20 |
Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation.
| زیرا که نبوت به اراده انسان هرگزآورده نشد، بلکه مردمان به روح‌القدس مجذوب شده، از جانب خدا سخن‌گفتند. | ۲۱ 21 |
For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
