دوم پطرس 2

۱ 1 لکن در میان قوم، انبیای کذبه نیز بودند، چنانکه در میان شما هم معلمان کذبه خواهند بود که بدعتهای مهلک را خفیه خواهندآورد و آن آقایی را که ایشان را خرید انکارخواهند نمود و هلاکت سریع را بر خود خواهندکشید؛

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privately shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

۲ 2 و بسیاری فجور ایشان را متابعت خواهند نمود که به‌سبب ایشان طریق حق، موردملامت خواهد شد.

And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

۳ 3 و از راه طمع به سخنان جعلی شما را خرید و فروش خواهند کرد که عقوبت ایشان از مدت مدید تاخیر نمی کند وهلاکت ایشان خوابیده نیست.

And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

۴ 4 زیرا هرگاه خدا بر فرشتگانی که گناه کردند، شفقت ننمود بلکه ایشان را به جهنم انداخته، به زنجیرهای ظلمت سپرد تا برای داوری نگاه داشته شوند؛ (Tartaroō g5020)

For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved to judgment; (Tartaroō g5020)

۵ 5 و بر عالم قدیم شفقت نفرمود بلکه نوح، واعظ عدالت را با هفت نفر دیگر محفوظداشته، طوفان را بر عالم بی‌دینان آورد؛

And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly;

۶ 6 وشهرهای سدوم و عموره را خاکستر نموده، حکم به واژگون شدن آنها فرمود و آنها را برای آنانی که بعد از این بی‌دینی خواهند کرد، عبرتی ساخت؛

And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample to those that after should live ungodly;

۷ 7 و لوط عادل را که از رفتار فاجرانه بی‌دینان رنجیده بود رهانید.

And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:

۸ 8 زیرا که آن مرد عادل درمیانشان ساکن بوده، از آنچه می‌دید و می‌شنید، دل صالح خود را به‌کارهای قبیح ایشان هرروزه رنجیده می‌داشت.

(For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds; )

۹ 9 پس خداوند می‌داند که عادلان را از تجربه رهایی دهد و ظالمان را تا به روز جزا در عذاب نگاه دارد.

The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished:

۱۰ 10 خصوص آنانی که در شهوات نجاست در‌پی جسم می‌روند وخداوندی را حقیر می‌دانند.

But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, self-willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

۱۱ 11 و حال آنکه فرشتگانی که در قدرت و قوت افضل هستند، پیش خداوند برایشان حکم افترا نمی زنند.

Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.

۱۲ 12 لکن اینها چون حیوانات غیرناطق که برای صید و هلاکت طبع متولد شده‌اند، ملامت می‌کنند بر آنچه نمی دانندو در فساد خود هلاک خواهند شد.

But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption;

۱۳ 13 و مزدناراستی خود را خواهند یافت که عیش و عشرت یک روزه را سرور خود می‌دانند. لکه‌ها و عیبهاهستند که در ضیافت های محبتانه خود عیش وعشرت می‌نمایند وقتی که با شما شادی می‌کنند.

And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;

۱۴ 14 چشمهای پر از زنا دارند که از گناه بازداشته نمی شود، و کسان ناپایدار را به دام می‌کشند؛ ابنای لعنت که قلب خود را برای طمع ریاضت داده‌اند،

Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:

۱۵ 15 و راه مستقیم را ترک کرده، گمراه شدند و طریق بلعام بن بصور را که مزد ناراستی رادوست می‌داشت، متابعت کردند.

Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

۱۶ 16 لکن او ازتقصیر خود توبیخ یافت که حمار گنگ به زبان انسان متنطق شده، دیوانگی نبی را توبیخ نمود.

But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbade the madness of the prophet.

۱۷ 17 اینها چشمه های بی‌آب و مه های رانده شده به باد شدید هستند که برای ایشان ظلمت تاریکی جاودانی، مقرر است. (questioned)

These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. (questioned)

۱۸ 18 زیرا که سخنان تکبرآمیز و باطل می‌گویند و آنانی را که از اهل ضلالت تازه رستگار شده‌اند، در دام شهوات به فجور جسمی می‌کشند،

For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

۱۹ 19 و ایشان را به آزادی وعده می‌دهند و حال آنکه خود غلام فسادهستند، زیرا هرچیزی که بر کسی غلبه یافته باشد، او نیز غلام آن است.

While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

۲۰ 20 زیرا هرگاه به معرفت خداوند و نجات‌دهنده ما عیسی مسیح ازآلایش دنیوی رستند و بعد از آن، بار دیگر گرفتارو مغلوب آن گشتند، اواخر ایشان از اوایل بدترمی شود.

For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

۲۱ 21 زیرا که برای ایشان بهتر می‌بود که راه عدالت را ندانسته باشند از اینکه بعد از دانستن باردیگر از آن حکم مقدس که بدیشان سپرده شده بود، برگردند.

For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

۲۲ 22 لکن معنی مثل حقیقی بر ایشان راست آمد که «سگ به قی خود رجوع کرده است و خنزیر شسته شده، به غلطیدن در گل.»

But it is happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
