۱ 1 و الیشع نبی یکی از پسران انبیا را خوانده، به او گفت: «کمر خود را ببند و این حقه روغن را به‌دست خود گرفته، به راموت جلعادبرو.

Then Elisha the Prophet called one of ye children of the Prophets, and sayde vnto him, Gird thy loynes and take this boxe of oyle in thine hand and get thee to Ramoth Gilead.

۲ 2 و چون به آنجا رسیدی، ییهو ابن یهوشافاطبن نمشی را پیدا کن و داخل شده، او را از میان برادرانش برخیزان و او را به اطاق خلوت ببر.

And when thou commest thither, looke where is Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat, the sonne of Nimshi, and go, and make him arise vp from among his brethren, and leade him to a secret chamber.

۳ 3 وحقه روغن را گرفته، به‌سرش بریز و بگو خداوندچنین می‌گوید که تو را به پادشاهی اسرائیل مسح کردم. پس در را باز کرده، فرار کن و درنگ منما.»

Then take the boxe of oyle and powre it on his head, and say, Thus sayth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel. then open the doore, and flee without any tarying.

۴ 4 پس آن جوان، یعنی آن نبی جوان به راموت جلعاد آمد.

So the seruat of ye Prophet gate him to Ramoth Gilead.

۵ 5 و چون بدانجا رسید، اینک سرداران لشکر نشسته بودند و او گفت: «ای سردار با توسخنی دارم.» ییهو گفت: «به کدام‌یک از جمیع ما؟» گفت: «به تو‌ای سردار!»

And when he came in, behold, the captaines of the armie were sitting. And he sayde, I haue a message to thee, O captaine. And Iehu sayd, Vnto which of all vs? And he answered, To thee, O captaine.

۶ 6 پس او برخاسته، به خانه داخل شد و روغن را به‌سرش ریخته، وی را گفت: «یهوه، خدای اسرائیل چنین می‌گوید که تو را بر قوم خداوند، یعنی بر اسرائیل به پادشاهی مسح کردم.

And he arose, and went into the house, and he powred the oyle on his head and sayde vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, I haue anointed thee for King ouer the people of the Lord, euen ouer Israel.

۷ 7 و خاندان آقای خود، اخاب راخواهی زد تا من انتقام خون بندگان خود، انبیا را وخون جمیع بندگان خداوند را از دست ایزابل بکشم.

And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may auenge the blood of my seruants the Prophets, and the blood of al the seruants of the Lord of the hand of Iezebel.

۸ 8 و تمامی خاندان اخاب هلاک خواهندشد. و از اخاب هر مرد را و هر بسته و رهاشده‌ای در اسرائیل را منقطع خواهم ساخت.

For the whole house of Ahab shalbe destroied: and I will cut off from Ahab, him that maketh water against the wall, as well him that is shut vp, as him that is left in Israel.

۹ 9 و خاندان اخاب را مثل خاندان یربعام بن نباط و مانندخاندان بعشا ابن اخیا خواهم ساخت.

And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Ieroboam the sonne of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the sonne of Ahiiah.

۱۰ 10 و سگان، ایزابل را در ملک یزرعیل خواهند خورد ودفن کننده‌ای نخواهند بود.» پس در را باز کرده، بگریخت.

And the dogges shall eate Iezebel in the fielde of Izreel, and there shalbe none to burie her. And he opened the doore, and fled.

۱۱ 11 و ییهو نزد بندگان آقای خویش بیرون آمدو کسی وی را گفت: «آیا سلامتی است؟ و این دیوانه برای چه نزد تو آمد؟» به ایشان گفت: «شمااین مرد و کلامش را می‌دانید.»

Then Iehu came out to the seruants of his lord. And one sayd vnto him, Is all well? wherefore came this mad fellowe to thee? And hee sayde vnto them, Ye knowe the man, and what his talke was.

۱۲ 12 گفتند: «چنین نیست. ما را اطلاع بده.» پس او گفت: «چنین وچنان به من تکلم نموده، گفت که خداوند چنین می‌فرماید: تو را به پادشاهی اسرائیل مسح کردم.»

And they sayde, It is false, tell vs it nowe. Then he sayd, Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, Thus saieth the Lord, I haue anointed thee for King ouer Israel.

۱۳ 13 آنگاه ایشان تعجیل نموده، هر کدام رخت خود را گرفته، آن را زیر او به روی زینه نهادند، و کرنا را نواخته، گفتند که «ییهو پادشاه است.»

Then they made haste, and tooke euerie man his garment, and put it vnder him on the top of the staires, and blewe the trumpet, saying, Iehu is King.

۱۴ 14 لهذا ییهو ابن یهوشافاط بن نمشی بر یورام بشورید و یورام خود و تمامی اسرائیل، راموت جلعاد را از حزائیل، پادشاه ارام نگاه می‌داشتند.

So Iehu ye sonne of Iehoshaphat the sonne of Nimshi conspired against Ioram: (Now Ioram kept Ramoth Gilead, he and all Israel, because of Hazael King of Aram.

۱۵ 15 اما یهورام پادشاه به یزرعیل مراجعت کرده بود تا از جراحتهایی که ارامیان به او رسانیده بودند وقتی که با حزائیل، پادشاه ارام، جنگ می‌نمود، شفا یابد. پس ییهو گفت: «اگر رای شمااین است، مگذارید که کسی رها شده، از شهربیرون رود مبادا رفته، به یزرعیل خبر برساند.»

And King Ioram returned to bee healed in Izreel of the woundes, which the Aramites had giuen him, when hee fought with Hazael King of Aram) and Iehu sayde, If it be your mindes, let no man depart and escape out of the citie, to goe and tell in Izreel.

۱۶ 16 پس ییهو به ارابه سوار شده، به یزرعیل رفت زیرا که یورام در آنجا بستری بود و اخزیا، پادشاه یهودا برای عیادت یورام فرود آمده بود.

So Iehu gate vp into a charet, and went to Izreel: for Ioram lay there, and Ahaziah King of Iudah was come downe to see Ioram.

۱۷ 17 پس دیده یانی بر برج یزرعیل ایستاده بود، و جمعیت، ییهو را وقتی که می‌آمد، دید و گفت: «جمعیتی می‌بینم.» و یهورام گفت: «سواری گرفته، به استقبال ایشان بفرست تا بپرسد که آیاسلامتی است؟»

And the watchman that stoode in the towre in Izreel spyed the companie of Iehu as hee came, and sayd, I see a companie. And Iehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meete them, that hee may say, Is it peace?

۱۸ 18 پس سواری به استقبال وی رفت و گفت: «پادشاه چنین می‌فرماید که آیاسلامتی است؟» ییهو جواب داد که «تو را باسلامتی چه‌کار است؟ به عقب من برگرد.» و دیده بان خبر داده گفت که «قاصد نزد ایشان رسید، امابرنمی گردد.»

So there went one on horseback to meete him, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu sayd, What hast thou to do with peace? Turne behinde me. And the watchman tolde, saying, The messenger came to them, but he commeth not againe.

۱۹ 19 پس سوار دیگری فرستاد و اونزد ایشان آمد و گفت: «پادشاه چنین می‌فرماید که آیا سلامتی است؟» ییهو جواب داد: «تو را باسلامتی چه‌کار است؟ به عقب من برگرد.»

Then hee sent out another on horsebacke, which came to them, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu answered, What hast thou to doe with peace? turne behinde me.

۲۰ 20 ودیده بان خبر داده، گفت که «نزد ایشان رسید امابرنمی گردد و راندن مثل راندن ییهو ابن نمشی است زیرا که به دیوانگی می‌راند.»

And the watchman tolde, saying, He came to them also, but commeth not againe, and the marching is like the marching of Iehu the sonne of Nimshi: for he marcheth furiously.

۲۱ 21 و یهورام گفت: «حاضر کنید.» پس ارابه اورا حاضر کردند و یهورام، پادشاه اسرائیل واخزیا، پادشاه یهودا، هر یک بر ارابه خود بیرون رفتند و به استقبال ییهو بیرون شده، او را در ملک نابوت یزرعیلی یافتند.

Then Iehoram sayd, Make ready: and his charet was made ready. And Iehoram King of Israel and Ahaziah King of Iudah went out eyther of them in his charet against Iehu, and met him in the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite.

۲۲ 22 و چون یهورام، ییهو رادید گفت: «ای ییهو آیا سلامتی است؟» او جواب داد: «چه سلامتی مادامی که زناکاری مادرت ایزابل و جادوگری وی اینقدر زیاد است؟»

And when Iehoram sawe Iehu, he sayde, Is it peace, Iehu? And he answered, What peace? whiles the whoredomes of thy mother Iezebel, and her witchcraftes are yet in great nomber?

۲۳ 23 آنگاه یهورام، دست خود را برگردانیده، فرارکرد و به اخزیا گفت: «ای اخزیا خیانت است.»

Then Iehoram turned his hand, and fled, and said to Ahaziah, O Ahaziah, there is treason.

۲۴ 24 و ییهو کمان خود را به قوت تمام کشیده، درمیان بازوهای یهورام زد که تیر از دلش بیرون آمدو در ارابه خود افتاد.

But Iehu tooke a bowe in his hande, and smote Iehoram betweene the shoulders, that the arowe went through his heart: and he fell downe in his charet.

۲۵ 25 و ییهو به بدقر، سردارخود گفت: «او را برداشته، در حصه ملک نابوت یزرعیلی بینداز و بیادآور که چگونه وقتی که من وتو با هم از عقب پدرش اخاب، سوار می‌بودیم، خداوند این وحی را درباره او فرمود.

Then said Iehu to Bidkar a captaine, Take, and cast him in some place of the fielde of Naboth the Izreelite: for I remember that when I and thou rode together after Ahab his father, the Lord layed this burden vpon him.

۲۶ 26 خداوندمی گوید: هرآینه خون نابوت و خون پسرانش رادیروز دیدم و خداوند می‌گوید: که در این ملک به تو مکافات خواهم رسانید. پس الان او را بردار وبه موجب کلام خداوند او را در این ملک بینداز.»

Surely I haue seene yesterday the blood of Naboth, and the blood of his sonnes, saide the Lord, and I will render it thee in this fielde, saith the Lord: nowe therefore take and cast him in the fielde, according to the word of the Lord.

۲۷ 27 اما چون اخزیا، پادشاه یهودا این را دید، به راه خانه بوستان فرار کرد و ییهو او را تعاقب نموده، فرمود که او را بزنید و او را نیز در ارابه‌اش به فراز جور که نزد یبلعام است (زدند) و او تامجدو فرار کرده، در آنجا مرد.

But when Ahaziah the King of Iudah saw this, he fled by the way of the garden house: And Iehu pursued after him, and sayd, Smite him also in the charet: and they smote him in the going vp to Gur, which is by Ibleam. And hee fled to Megiddo, and there dyed.

۲۸ 28 و خادمانش اورا در ارابه به اورشلیم بردند و او را در مزارخودش در شهر داود با پدرانش دفن کردند.

And his seruants caried him in a charet to Ierusalem, and buried him in his sepulchre with his fathers in the citie of Dauid.

۲۹ 29 و در سال یازدهم یورام بن اخاب، اخزیا بریهودا پادشاه شد.

And in the eleuenth yere of Ioram the sonne of Ahab, began Ahaziah to reigne ouer Iudah.

۳۰ 30 و چون ییهو به یزرعیل آمد، ایزابل این راشنیده، سرمه به چشمان خود کشیده و سر خود را زینت داده، از پنجره نگریست.

And when Iehu was come to Izreel, Iezebel heard of it, and painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a windowe.

۳۱ 31 و چون ییهوبه دروازه داخل شد، او گفت: «آیا زمری را که آقای خود را کشت، سلامتی بود؟»

And as Iehu entred at the gate, shee sayde, Had Zimri peace, which slewe his master?

۳۲ 32 و او به سوی پنجره نظر افکنده، گفت: «کیست که به طرف من باشد؟ کیست؟» پس دو سه نفر ازخواجگان به سوی او نظر کردند.

And he lift vp his eyes to the windowe, and sayd, Who is on my side, who? Then two or three of her Eunuches looked vnto him.

۳۳ 33 و او گفت: «اورا بیندازید.» پس او را به زیر انداختند و قدری ازخونش بر دیوار و اسبان پاشیده شد و او را پایمال کرد.

And he sayde, Cast her downe: and they cast her downe, and hee sprinkled of her blood vpon the wall, and vpon the horses, and he trode her vnder foote.

۳۴ 34 و داخل شده، به اکل و شرب مشغول گشت. پس گفت: «این زن ملعون را نظر کنید، و اورا دفن نمایید زیرا که دختر پادشاه است.»

And when he was come in, he did eate and drinke, and sayde, Visite now yonder cursed woman, and burie her: for she is a Kings daughter.

۳۵ 35 اماچون برای دفن کردنش رفتند، جز کاسه سر وپایها و کفهای دست، چیزی از او نیافتند.

And they went to burie her, but they foud no more of her, then the skull and the feete, and the palmes of her handes.

۳۶ 36 پس برگشته، وی را خبر دادند. و او گفت: «این کلام خداوند است که به واسطه بنده خود، ایلیای تشبی تکلم نموده، گفت که سگان گوشت ایزابل را در ملک یزرعیل خواهند خورد.

Wherefore they came agayne and tolde him. And he said, This is the worde of the Lord, which he spake by his seruant Eliiah the Tishbite, saying, In the fielde of Izreel shall ye dogs eate the flesh of Iezebel.

۳۷ 37 و لاش ایزابل مثل سرگین به روی زمین، در ملک یزرعیل خواهد بود، به طوری که نخواهند گفت که این ایزابل است.»

And the carkeis of Iezebel shalbe as doung vpon the ground in the field of Izreel, so that none shall say, This is Iezebel.
