دوم پادشاهان 14

۱ 1 در سال دوم یوآش بن یهواخاز پادشاه اسرائیل، امصیا بن یوآش، پادشاه یهوداآغاز سلطنت نمود.

In year two of Joash [the] son of Jehoahaz [the] king of Israel he became king Amaziah [the] son of Joash [the] king of Judah.

۲ 2 و بیست و پنج ساله بود که پادشاه شد. و بیست و نه سال در اورشلیم پادشاهی کرد و اسم مادرش یهوعدان اورشلیمی بود.

A son of twenty and five year[s] he was when became king he and twenty and nine year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his ([was] Jehoaddan *QK) from Jerusalem.

۳ 3 و آنچه در نظر خداوند پسند بود، به عمل آورد اما نه مثل پدرش داود بلکه موافق هر‌چه پدرش یوآش کرده بود، رفتار می‌نمود.

And he did the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh only not like David ancestor his according to all that he had done Joash father his he did.

۴ 4 لیکن مکان های بلند برداشته نشد، و قوم هنوز درمکان های بلند قربانی می‌گذرانیدند و بخورمی سوزانیدند.

Only the high places not they were removed still the people [were] sacrificing and [were] making smoke at the high places.

۵ 5 و هنگامی که سلطنت در دستش مستحکم شد، خادمان خود را که پدرش، پادشاه را کشته بودند، به قتل رسانید.

And it was just when it was secure the kingdom in hand his and he struck down servants his who had struck down the king father his.

۶ 6 اما پسران قاتلان را نکشت به موجب نوشته کتاب تورات موسی که خداوند امر فرموده و گفته بود پدران به جهت پسران کشته نشوند و پسران به جهت پدران مقتول نگردند، بلکه هر کس به جهت گناه خودکشته شود.

And [the] sons of those [who] had struck down not he put to death according to [what] is written in [the] book of [the] law of Moses which he commanded Yahweh saying not they will be put to death fathers on sons and sons not they will be put to death on fathers that except each for own sin his (he will be put to death. *QK)

۷ 7 و او ده هزار نفر از ادومیان را در وادی ملح کشت و سالع را در جنگ گرفت و آن را تا به امروزیقتئیل نامید.

He he struck down Edom in [the] Valley of (Salt *QK) ten thousand and he seized Sela in battle and he called name its Joktheel until the day this.

۸ 8 آنگاه امصیا رسولان نزد یهوآش بن یهواخازبن ییهو، پادشاه اسرائیل، فرستاده، گفت: «بیا تا بایکدیگر مقابله نماییم.»

Then he sent Amaziah messengers to Jehoash [the] son of Jehoahaz [the] son of Jehu [the] king of Israel saying come! let us look at one another faces.

۹ 9 و یهوآش پادشاه اسرائیل نزد امصیا، پادشاه یهودا فرستاده، گفت: «شترخار لبنان نزد سرو آزاد لبنان فرستاده، گفت: دختر خود را به پسر من به زنی بده، اما حیوان وحشی‌ای که در لبنان بود، گذر کرده، شترخار راپایمال نمود.

And he sent Jehoash [the] king of Israel to Amaziah [the] king of Judah saying thornbush which [was] in Lebanon it sent to cedar which [was] in Lebanon saying give! daughter your to son my to a wife and it passed by [the] animal of the field which [was] in Lebanon and it trampled the thornbush.

۱۰ 10 ادوم را البته شکست دادی و دلت تو را مغرور ساخته است پس فخر نموده، درخانه خود بمان زیرا برای چه بلا را برای خودبرمی انگیزانی تا خودت و یهودا همراهت بیفتید.»

Certainly you have struck down Edom and it has lifted you heart your be honored and remain at home your and why? will you engage in strife with harm and you will fall you and Judah with you.

۱۱ 11 اما امصیا گوش نداد. پس یهوآش، پادشاه اسرائیل برآمد و او و امصیا، پادشاه یهودا دربیت شمس که در یهوداست، با یکدیگر مقابله نمودند.

And not he listened Amaziah and he went up Jehoash [the] king of Israel and they looked at one another faces he and Amaziah [the] king of Judah at Beth Shemesh which [belonged] to Judah.

۱۲ 12 و یهودا از حضور اسرائیل منهزم شده، هر کس به خیمه خود فرار کرد.

And it was defeated Judah before Israel and they fled everyone (to tents his. *QK)

۱۳ 13 ویهوآش، پادشاه اسرائیل، امصیا ابن یهوآش بن اخزیا پادشاه یهودا را در بیت شمس گرفت و به اورشلیم آمده، حصار اورشلیم را از دروازه افرایم تا دروازه زاویه، یعنی چهار صد ذراع منهدم ساخت.

And Amaziah [the] king of Judah [the] son of Jehoash [the] son of Ahaziah he seized Jehoash [the] king of Israel at Beth Shemesh (and he came *QK) Jerusalem and he made a breach in [the] wall of Jerusalem at [the] gate of Ephraim to [the] gate of the corner four hundred cubit[s].

۱۴ 14 و تمامی طلا و نقره و تمامی ظروفی را که در خانه خداوند و در خزانه های خانه پادشاه یافت شد، و یرغمالان گرفته، به سامره مراجعت کرد.

And he took all the gold and the silver and all the articles which were found [the] house of Yahweh and in [the] treasuries of [the] house of the king and [the] sons of the pledges and he returned Samaria towards.

۱۵ 15 و بقیه اعمالی را که یهوآش کرد و تهور او وچگونه با امصیا پادشاه یهودا جنگ کرد، آیا درکتاب تواریخ ایام پادشاهان اسرائیل مکتوب نیست؟

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jehoash which he did and might his and which he waged war with Amaziah [the] king of Judah ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

۱۶ 16 و یهوآش با پدران خود خوابید و باپادشاهان اسرائیل در سامره دفن شد و پسرش یربعام در جایش پادشاه شد.

And he lay down Jehoash with ancestors his and he was buried in Samaria with [the] kings of Israel and he became king Jeroboam son his in place of him.

۱۷ 17 و امصیا ابن یوآش، پادشاه یهودا، بعد ازوفات یهوآش بن یهواخاز، پادشاه اسرائیل، پانزده سال زندگانی نمود.

And he lived Amaziah [the] son of Joash [the] king of Judah after [the] death of Jehoash [the] son of Jehoahaz [the] king of Israel fif-teen year[s].

۱۸ 18 و بقیه وقایع امصیا، آیا در کتاب تواریخ ایام پادشاهان یهودا مکتوب نیست؟

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Amaziah ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah.

۱۹ 19 و در اورشلیم بر وی فتنه انگیختند. پس او به لاکیش فرار کرد و از عقبش به لاکیش فرستاده، او را در آنجا کشتند.

And people conspired on him a conspiracy in Jerusalem and he fled Lachish towards and they sent after him Lachish towards and they put to death him there.

۲۰ 20 و او را بر اسبان آوردند و با پدران خود در اورشلیم در شهر داود، دفن شد.

And they carried him on horses and he was buried in Jerusalem with ancestors his in [the] city of David.

۲۱ 21 و تمامی قوم یهودا، عزریا را که شانزده ساله بود گرفته، او را به‌جای پدرش، امصیا، پادشاه ساختند.

And they took all [the] people of Judah Azariah and he [was] a son of six-teen year[s] and they made king him in place of father his Amaziah.

۲۲ 22 او ایلت را بنا کرد و بعداز آنکه پادشاه با پدران خود خوابیده بود، آن رابرای یهودا استرداد ساخت.

He he built Elath and he restored it to Judah after lay down the king with ancestors his.

۲۳ 23 و در سال پانزدهم امصیا بن یوآش، پادشاه یهودا، یربعام بن یهوآش، پادشاه اسرائیل، درسامره آغاز سلطنت نمود، و چهل و یک سال پادشاهی کرد.

In year fif-teen year of Amaziah [the] son of Joash [the] king of Judah he became king Jeroboam [the] son of Joash [the] king of Israel in Samaria forty and one year[s].

۲۴ 24 و آنچه در نظر خداوند ناپسندبود، به عمل آورده، از تمامی گناهان یربعام بن نباط که اسرائیل را مرتکب گناه ساخته بود، اجتناب ننمود.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh not he turned aside from all [the] sins of Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat which he caused to sin Israel.

۲۵ 25 او حدود اسرائیل را از مدخل حمات تا دریای عربه استرداد نمود، موافق کلامی که یهوه، خدای اسرائیل، به واسطه بنده خود یونس بن امتای نبی که از جت حافر بود، گفته بود.

He he restored [the] border of Israel from Lebo Hamath to [the] sea of the Arabah according to [the] word of Yahweh [the] God of Israel which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Jonah [the] son of Amittai the prophet who [was] from Gath Hepher.

۲۶ 26 زیرا خداوند دید که مصیبت اسرائیل بسیار تلخ بود چونکه نه محبوس و نه آزادی باقی ماند. و معاونی به جهت اسرائیل وجود نداشت.

For he saw Yahweh [the] affliction of Israel rebellious very and there not [was] shut up and there not [was] freed and there not [was] a helper for Israel.

۲۷ 27 اما خداوند به محو ساختن نام اسرائیل از زیرآسمان تکلم ننمود لهذا ایشان را به‌دست یربعام بن یوآش نجات داد.

And not he had spoken Yahweh to wipe out [the] name of Israel from under the heavens and he delivered them by [the] hand of Jeroboam [the] son of Joash.

۲۸ 28 و بقیه وقایع یربعام و آنچه کرد و تهور او که چگونه جنگ نمود و چگونه دمشق و حمات راکه از آن یهودا بود، برای اسرائیل استردادساخت، آیا در کتاب تواریخ ایام پادشاهان اسرائیل مکتوب نیست؟

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Jeroboam and all that he did and might his which he waged war and which he restored Damascus and Hamath to Judah in Israel ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

۲۹ 29 پس یربعام با پدران خود، یعنی با پادشاهان اسرائیل خوابید و پسرش زکریا در جایش سلطنت نمود.

And he lay down Jeroboam with ancestors his with [the] kings of Israel and he became king Zechariah son his in place of him.
