دوم یوحنا 1

۱ 1 من که پیرم، به خاتون برگزیده و فرزندانش که ایشان را درراستی محبت می‌نمایم و نه من فقط بلکه همه کسانی که راستی را می‌دانند،

The elder, to the chosen lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not I only, but also all those who know the truth;

۲ 2 بخاطر آن راستی که در ما ساکن است و با ما تا به ابد خواهدبود. (aiōn g165)

for the truth's sake, which remains in us, and it will be with us forever: (aiōn g165)

۳ 3 فیض و رحمت و سلامتی از جانب خدای پدر و عیسی مسیح خداوند و پسر پدر در راستی و محبت با ما خواهد بود.

Grace, mercy, and peace will be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

۴ 4 بسیار مسرور شدم چونکه بعضی از فرزندان تو را یافتم که در راستی رفتار می‌کنند، چنانکه ازپدر حکم یافتیم.

I rejoice greatly that I have found some of your children walking in truth, even as we have been commanded by the Father.

۵ 5 و الان‌ای خاتون از تو التماس دارم نه آنکه حکمی تازه به تو بنویسم، بلکه همان را که از ابتداء داشتیم که یکدیگر را محبت بنماییم.

And now I ask you, dear lady, not as though I wrote to you a new commandment, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

۶ 6 و این است محبت که موافق احکام اوسلوک بنماییم و حکم همان است که از اول شنیدید تا در آن سلوک نماییم.

This is love, that we should walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, even as you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.

۷ 7 زیرا گمراه کنندگان بسیار به‌دنیا بیرون شدندکه عیسی مسیح ظاهر شده در جسم را اقرارنمی کنند. آن است گمراه‌کننده و دجال.

For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

۸ 8 خود رانگاه بدارید مبادا آنچه را که عمل کردیم برباددهید بلکه تا اجرت کامل بیابید.

Watch yourselves, that you do not lose the things which we have accomplished, but that you receive a full reward.

۹ 9 هرکه پیشوایی می‌کند و در تعلیم مسیح ثابت نیست، خدا رانیافته است. اما آنکه در تعلیم مسیح ثابت ماند، اوهم پدر و پسر را دارد.

Whoever goes on and does not remain in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son.

۱۰ 10 اگر کسی به نزد شما آیدو این تعلیم را نیاورد، او را به خانه خود مپذیرید واو را تحیت مگویید.

If anyone comes to you, and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not welcome him,

۱۱ 11 زیرا هرکه او را تحیت گوید، در کارهای قبیحش شریک گردد.

for he who welcomes him participates in his evil works.

۱۲ 12 چیزهای بسیار دارم که به شما بنویسم، لکن نخواستم که به کاغذ و مرکب بنویسم، بلکه امیدوارم که به نزد شما بیایم و زبانی گفتگو نمایم تا خوشی ما کامل شود.

Having many things to write to you, I do not want to do so with paper and ink, but I hope to come to you, and to speak face to face, that our joy may be made full.

۱۳ 13 فرزندان خواهر برگزیده تو، به تو سلام می‌رسانند. آمین.
