دوم قرنتیان 9

۱ 1 زیرا که در خصوص این خدمت مقدسین، زیادتی می‌باشد که به شما بنویسم.

It is indeed unnecessary for me to write to you concerning the service to the saints,

۲ 2 چونکه دلگرمی شما را می‌دانم که درباره آن بجهت شما به اهل مکادونیه فخر می‌کنم که ازسال گدشته اهل اخائیه مستعد شده‌اند و غیرت شما اکثر ایشان را تحریض نموده است.

for I know your readiness, of which I boast on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia has been prepared for a year past. Your zeal has stirred up very many of them.

۳ 3 امابرادران را فرستادم که مبادا فخر ما درباره شما دراین خصوص باطل شود تا چنانکه گفته‌ام، مستعدشوید.

But I have sent the brothers that our boasting on your behalf may not be in vain in this respect, that, just as I said, you may be prepared,

۴ 4 مبادا اگر اهل مکادونیه با من آیند و شمارا نامستعد یابند، نمی گویم شما بلکه ما از این اعتمادی که به آن فخر کردیم، خجل شویم،

so that I won't by any means, if there come with me any of Macedonia and find you unprepared, we (to say nothing of you) should be disappointed in this confidence.

۵ 5 پس لازم دانستم که برادران را نصیحت کنم تاقبل از ما نزد شما آیند و برکت موعود شما را مهیاسازند تا حاضر باشد، از راه برکت نه از راه طمع.

I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brothers that they would go before to you, and arrange ahead of time the generous gift that you promised before, that the same might be ready as a matter of generosity, and not of greediness.

۶ 6 اما خلاصه این است، هرکه با بخیلی کارد، بابخیلی هم درو کند و هرکه با برکت کارد، با برکت نیز درو کند.

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

۷ 7 اما هرکس بطوری که در دل خوداراده نموده است بکند، نه به حزن و اضطرار، زیراخدا بخشنده خوش را دوست می‌دارد.

Each person should give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.

۸ 8 ولی خدا قادر است که هر نعمتی را برای شما بیفزایدتا همیشه در هر امری کفایت کامل داشته، برای هر عمل نیکو افزوده شوید.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.

۹ 9 چنانکه مکتوب است که «پاشید و به فقرا داد و عدالتش تا به ابدباقی می‌ماند». (aiōn g165)

As it is written, "He has scattered, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." (aiōn g165)

۱۰ 10 اما او که برای برزگر بذر و برای خورنده نان را آماده می‌کند، بذر شما را آماده کرده، خواهد افزود و ثمرات عدالت شما را مزید خواهد کرد.

Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;

۱۱ 11 تا آنکه در هرچیز دولتمند شده، کمال سخاوت را بنمایید که آن منشا شکر خدابوسیله ما می‌باشد.

you being enriched in everything to all liberality, which works through us thanksgiving to God.

۱۲ 12 زیرا که به‌جا آوردن این خدمت، نه فقط حاجات مقدسین را رفع می‌کند، بلکه سپاس خدا را نیز بسیار می‌افزاید.

For this service of giving that you perform not only makes up for lack among the saints, but abounds also through many thanksgivings to God;

۱۳ 13 و ازدلیل این خدمت، خدا را تمجید می‌کنند به‌سبب اطاعت شما در اعتراف انجیل مسیح و سخاوت بخشش شما برای ایشان و همگان.

seeing that through the proof given by this service, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the Good News of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all;

۱۴ 14 و ایشان به‌سبب افزونی فیض خدایی که بر شماست، دردعای خود مشتاق شما می‌باشند.

while they themselves also, with petition on your behalf, yearn for you by reason of the exceeding grace of God in you.

۱۵ 15 خدا را برای عطای ما لاکلام او شکر باد.

Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift.
