دوم تواریخ 28

۱ 1 و آحاز بیست ساله بود که پادشاه شد وشانزده سال در اورشلیم پادشاهی کرد. اما آنچه در نظر خداوند پسند بود، موافق پدرش داود به عمل نیاورد.

Ahaz was twentie yeere old when he began to reigne, and reigned sixteene yeere in Ierusalem, and did not vprightly in the sight of the Lord, like Dauid his father.

۲ 2 بلکه به طریق های پادشاهان اسرائیل سلوک نموده، تمثالها نیز برای بعلیم ریخت.

But he walked in the wayes of ye Kings of Israel, and made euen molten images for Baalim.

۳ 3 و در وادی ابن هنوم بخورسوزانید، و پسران خود را برحسب رجاسات امت هایی که خداوند از حضور بنی‌اسرائیل اخراج نموده بود، سوزانید.

Moreouer he burnt incense in the valley of Ben-hinnom, and burnt his sonnes with fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.

۴ 4 و بر مکان های بلندو تلها و زیر هر درخت سبز قربانی‌ها گذرانید وبخور‌سوزانید.

He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the hie places, and on hilles, and vnder euery greene tree.

۵ 5 بنابراین، یهوه خدایش او را به‌دست پادشاه ارام تسلیم نمود که ایشان او را شکست داده، اسیران بسیاری از او گرفته، به دمشق بردند. و به‌دست پادشاه اسرائیل نیز تسلیم شد که او راشکست عظیمی داد.

Wherefore the Lord his God deliuered him into the hand of the King of the Aramites, and they smote him, and tooke of his, many prisoners, and brought them to Damascus: and he was also deliuered into the hande of the King of Israel, which smote him with a great slaughter.

۶ 6 و فقح بن رملیا صد وبیست هزار نفر را که جمیع ایشان مردان جنگی بودند، در یک روز در یهودا کشت، چونکه یهوه خدای پدران خود را ترک نموده بودند.

For Pekah the sonne of Remaliah slewe in Iudah sixe score thousand in one day, all valiant men, because they had forsaken the Lord God of their fathers.

۷ 7 و زکری که مرد شجاع افرایمی بود، معسیا پسر پادشاه، عزریقام ناظر خانه، و القانه را که شخص اول بعداز پادشاه بود، کشت.

And Zichri a mighty man of Ephraim slew Maaseiah the Kings sonne, and Azrikam the gouernour of the house, and Elkanah the second after the King.

۸ 8 پس بنی‌اسرائیل دویست هزار نفر زنان وپسران و دختران از برادران خود به اسیری بردند ونیز غنیمت بسیاری از ایشان گرفتند و غنیمت رابه سامره بردند.

And the children of Israel tooke prisoners of their brethren, two hudreth thousand of women, sonnes and daughters, and caried away much spoyle of them, and brought the spoyle to Samaria.

۹ 9 و در آنجا نبی از جانب خداوندعودید نام بود که به استقبال لشکری که به سامره برمی گشتند آمده، به ایشان گفت: «اینک از این جهت که یهوه خدای پدران شما بر یهوداغضبناک می‌باشد، ایشان را به‌دست شما تسلیم نمود و شما ایشان را با غضبی که به آسمان رسیده است، کشتید.

But there was a Prophet of the Lordes, (whose name was Oded) and he went out before the hoste that came to Samaria, and said vnto them, Behold, because the Lord God of your fathers is wroth with Iudah, he hath deliuered them into your hand, and ye haue slaine them in a rage, that reacheth vp to heauen.

۱۰ 10 و حال شما خیال می‌کنید که پسران یهودا و اورشلیم را به عنف غلامان وکنیزان خود سازید. و آیا با خود شما نیز تقصیرهابه ضد یهوه خدای شما نیست؟

And nowe ye purpose to keepe vnder the children of Iudah and Ierusalem, as seruants and handmaides vnto you: but are not you such, that sinnes are with you before the Lord your God?

۱۱ 11 پس الان مرابشنوید و اسیرانی را که از برادران خود آورده‌اید، برگردانید زیرا که حدت خشم خداوند بر شمامی باشد.»

Nowe therefore heare me, and deliuer the captiues againe, which ye haue taken prisoners of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the Lord is toward you.

۱۲ 12 آنگاه بعضی از روسای بنی افرایم یعنی عزریا ابن یهوحانان و برکیا ابن مشلیموت ویحزقیا ابن شلوم و عماسا ابن حدلای با آنانی که از جنگ می‌آمدند، مقاومت نمودند.

Wherefore certaine of the chiefe of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the sonne of Iehohanan, Berechiah the sonne of Meshillemoth, and Iehizkiah the sonne of Shallum, and Amasa the sonne of Hadlai, stood vp against them that came from the warre,

۱۳ 13 و به ایشان گفتند که «اسیران را به اینجا نخواهید آوردزیرا که تقصیری به ضد خداوند بر ما هست وشما می‌خواهید که گناهان و تقصیرهای ما رامزید کنید زیرا که تقصیر ما عظیم است و حدت خشم بر اسرائیل وارد شده است.»

And said vnto them, Bring not in the captiues hither: for this shalbe a sinne vpon vs against the Lord: ye entende to adde more to our sinnes and to our trespasse, though our trespasse be great, and the fierce wrath of God is against Israel.

۱۴ 14 پس لشکریان، اسیران و غنیمت را پیش روسا وتمامی جماعت واگذاشتند.

So the armie left the captiues and the spoyle before the princes and all the Congregation.

۱۵ 15 و آنانی که اسم ایشان مذکور شد برخاسته، اسیران را گرفتند وهمه برهنگان ایشان را از غنیمت پوشانیده، ملبس ساختند و کفش به پای ایشان کرده، ایشان راخورانیدند و نوشانیدند و تدهین کرده، تمامی ضعیفان را بر الاغها سوار نموده، ایشان را به اریحا که شهر نخل باشد نزد برادرانشان رسانیده، خود به سامره مراجعت کردند.

And the men that were named by name, rose vp and tooke the prisoners, and with the spoyle clothed all that were naked among them, and arayed them, and shod them, and gaue them meate, and gaue them drinke, and anoynted them, and caryed all that were feeble of them vpon asses, and brought them to Iericho the citie of Palme trees to their brethren: so they returned to Samaria.

۱۶ 16 و در آن زمان، آحاز پادشاه نزد پادشاهان آشور فرستاد تا او را اعانت کنند.

At that time did King Ahaz sende vnto the Kings of Asshur, to helpe him.

۱۷ 17 زیرا که ادومیان هنوز می‌آمدند و یهودا را شکست داده، اسیران می‌بردند.

(For the Edomites came moreouer, and slew of Iudah, and caryed away captiues.

۱۸ 18 و فلسطینیان بر شهرهای هامون و جنوبی یهودا هجوم آوردند و بیت شمس و ایلون و جدیروت و سوکو را با دهاتش وتمنه را با دهاتش و جمزو را با دهاتش گرفته، درآنها ساکن شدند.

The Philistims also inuaded the cities in the low countrey, and toward the South of Iudah, and tooke Bethshemesh, and Aialon, and Gederoth and Shocho, with the villages thereof, and Timnah, with her villages, and Gimzo, with her villages, and they dwelt there.

۱۹ 19 زیرا خداوند یهودا را به‌سبب آحاز، پادشاه اسرائیل ذلیل ساخت، چونکه او یهودا را به‌سرکشی واداشت و به خداوندخیانت عظیمی ورزید.

For the Lord had humbled Iudah, because of Ahaz King of Israel: for he had brought vengeance vpon Iudah, and had grieuously transgressed against the Lord)

۲۰ 20 پس تلغت فلناسر، پادشاه آشور بر او برآمد و او را به تنگ آورد ووی را تقویت نداد.

And Tilgath Pilneeser king of Asshur came vnto him, who troubled him and did not strengthen him.

۲۱ 21 زیرا که آحاز خانه خداوندو خانه های پادشاه و سروران را تاراج کرده، به پادشاه آشور داد، اما او را اعانت ننمود.

For Ahaz tooke a portion out of the house of the Lord and out of the Kings house and of the Princes, and gaue vnto the king of Asshur: yet it helped him not.

۲۲ 22 و چون او را به تنگ آورده بود، همین آحازپادشاه به خداوند بیشتر خیانت ورزید.

And in ye time of his tribulation did he yet trespasse more against ye Lord, (this is King Ahaz)

۲۳ 23 زیرا که برای خدایان دمشق که او را شکست داده بودند، قربانی گذرانید و گفت: «چونکه خدایان پادشاهان ارام، ایشان را نصرت داده‌اند، پس من برای آنهاقربانی خواهم گذرانید تا مرا اعانت نمایند.» اماآنها سبب هلاکت وی و تمامی اسرائیل شدند.

For he sacrificed vnto the gods of Damascus, which plagued him, and he sayd, Because the gods of the Kings of Aram helped them, I wil sacrifice vnto them, and they will helpe me: yet they were his ruine, and of all Israel.

۲۴ 24 و آحاز اسباب خانه خدا را جمع کرد و آلات خانه خدا را خرد کرد و درهای خانه خداوند رابسته، مذبح‌ها برای خود در هر گوشه اورشلیم ساخت.

And Ahaz gathered the vessels of ye house of God, and brake the vessels of the house of God, and shut vp the doores of the house of the Lord, and made him altars in euery corner of Ierusalem.

۲۵ 25 و در هر شهری از شهرهای یهودا، مکان های بلند ساخت تا برای خدایان غریب بخور‌سوزانند. پس خشم یهوه خدای پدران خود را به هیجان آورد.

And in euery citie of Iudah hee made hie places, to burne incense vnto other gods, and prouoked to anger the Lord God of his fathers.

۲۶ 26 و بقیه وقایع وی و همه طریق های اول و آخر او، اینک در تواریخ پادشاهان یهودا و اسرائیل مکتوب است.

Concerning the rest of his actes, and all his wayes first and last, beholde, they are written in the booke of the Kings of Iudah, and Israel.

۲۷ 27 پس آحاز با پدران خود خوابید و او را در شهراورشلیم دفن کردند، اما او را به مقبره پادشاهان اسرائیل نیاوردند. و پسرش حزقیا به‌جایش پادشاه شد.

And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the citie of Ierusalem, but brought him not vnto the sepulchres of the Kings of Israel: and Hezekiah his sonne reigned in his stead.
