1 تیموتاوس 2
| پس از همه‌چیز اول، سفارش می‌کنم که صلوات و دعاها و مناجات و شکرها رابرای جمیع مردم به‌جا آورند؛ | ۱ 1 |
I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men,
| بجهت پادشاهان و جمیع صاحبان منصب تا به آرامی و استراحت و با کمال دینداری و وقار، عمر خود را بسر بریم. | ۲ 2 |
for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
| زیرا که این نیکو و پسندیده است، در حضورنجات‌دهنده ما خدا | ۳ 3 |
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,
| که می‌خواهد جمیع مردم نجات یابند و به معرفت راستی گرایند. | ۴ 4 |
who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
| زیراخدا واحد است و در میان خدا و انسان یک متوسطی است یعنی انسانی که مسیح عیسی باشد، | ۵ 5 |
For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Messiah Yeshua,
| که خود را در راه همه فدا داد، شهادتی درزمان معین. | ۶ 6 |
who gave himself as a ransom for all, the testimony at the proper time,
| و برای این، من واعظ و رسول ومعلم امتها در ایمان و راستی مقرر شدم. در مسیح راست می‌گویم و دروغ نی. | ۷ 7 |
to which I was appointed a proclaimer and an emissary—I am telling the truth in Messiah, not lying—a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
| پس آرزوی این دارم که مردان، دست های مقدس را بدون غیظ و جدال برافراخته، در هر جادعا کنند. | ۸ 8 |
I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
| و همچنین زنان خویشتن را بیارایند به لباس مزین به حیا و پرهیز نه به زلفها و طلا ومروارید و رخت گرانبها؛ | ۹ 9 |
In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing,
| بلکه چنانکه زنانی رامی شاید که دعوای دینداری می‌کنند به اعمال صالحه. | ۱۰ 10 |
but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness.
| زن با سکوت، به‌کمال اطاعت تعلیم گیرد. | ۱۱ 11 |
Let a woman learn in quietness with full submission.
| و زن را اجازت نمی دهم که تعلیم دهد یابر شوهر مسلط شود بلکه در سکوت بماند. | ۱۲ 12 |
But I don’t permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
| زیرا که آدم اول ساخته شد و بعد حوا. | ۱۳ 13 |
For Adam was formed first, then Havah.
| وآدم فریب نخورد بلکه زن فریب خورده، درتقصیر گرفتار شد. | ۱۴ 14 |
Adam wasn’t deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
| اما به زاییدن رستگارخواهد شد، اگر در ایمان و محبت و قدوسیت وتقوا ثابت بمانند. | ۱۵ 15 |
but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness with sobriety.
