۱ 1 و در سال هجدهم پادشاهی یربعام بن نباط، ابیام، بر یهودا پادشاه شد.

And in year eight-teen of the king Jeroboam [the] son of Nebat he became king Abijam over Judah.

۲ 2 سه سال در اورشلیم سلطنت نمود و اسم مادرش معکه دختر ابشالوم بود.

Three years he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.

۳ 3 و در تمامی گناهانی که پدرش قبل از او کرده بود، سلوک می‌نمود، ودلش با یهوه، خدایش مثل دل پدرش داود کامل نبود.

And he walked in all [the] sins of father his which he had done before him and not it was heart his complete with Yahweh God his like [the] heart of David ancestor his.

۴ 4 اما یهوه، خدایش به‌خاطر داود وی رانوری در اورشلیم داد تا پسرش را بعد از اوبرقرار گرداند، و اورشلیم را استوار نماید.

For for [the] sake of David he gave Yahweh God his to him a lamp in Jerusalem by raising up son his after him and by establishing Jerusalem.

۵ 5 چونکه داود آنچه در نظر خداوند راست بود، بجا می‌آورد و از هرچه او را امر فرموده، تمام روزهای عمرش تجاوز ننموده بود، مگر در امراوریای حتی.

That he had done David the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh and not he had turned aside from all that he had commanded him all [the] days of life his only in [the] matter of Uriah the Hittite.

۶ 6 و در میان رحبعام و یربعام تمام روزهای عمرش جنگ بود.

And war it was between Rehoboam and between Jeroboam all [the] days of life his.

۷ 7 و بقیه وقایع ابیام وهرچه کرد، آیا در کتاب تواریخ ایام پادشاهان یهودا مکتوب نیست؟ و در میان ابیام و یربعام جنگ بود.

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Abijam and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah and war it was between Abijam and between Jeroboam.

۸ 8 و ابیام با پدران خویش خوابید و او رادر شهر دفن کردند و پسرش آسا در جایش سلطنت نمود.

And he lay down Abijam with ancestors his and people buried him in [the] city of David and he became king Asa son his in place of him.

۹ 9 و در سال بیستم یربعام پادشاه اسرائیل، آسابر یهودا پادشاه شد.

And in year twenty of Jeroboam [the] king of Israel he became king Asa [the] king of Judah.

۱۰ 10 و در اورشلیم چهل و یک سال پادشاهی کرد و اسم مادرش معکه دخترابشالوم بود.

And forty and one year[s] he reigned in Jerusalem and [the] name of mother his [was] Maacah [the] daughter of Abishalom.

۱۱ 11 و آسا آنچه در نظر خداوند راست بود، مثل پدرش، داود عمل نمود.

And he did Asa the right in [the] eyes of Yahweh like David ancestor his.

۱۲ 12 و الواط را ازولایت بیرون کرد و بت هایی را که پدرانش ساخته بودند، دور نمود.

And he made to pass away the male cult prostitutes from the land and he removed all the idols which they had made ancestors his.

۱۳ 13 و مادر خود، معکه را نیز ازملکه بودن معزول کرد، زیرا که او تمثالی به جهت اشیره ساخته بود. و آسا تمثال او را قطع نموده، آن را در وادی قدرون سوزانید.

And also - Maacah mother his and he removed her from queen-mother that she had made an abominable image to Asherah pole and he cut down Asa abominable image her and he burned [it] in [the] wadi of Kidron.

۱۴ 14 اما مکان های بلند برداشته نشد لیکن دل آسا در تمام ایامش باخداوند کامل می‌بود.

And the high places not they were removed only [the] heart of Asa it was complete with Yahweh all days his.

۱۵ 15 و چیزهایی را که پدرش وقف کرده و آنچه خودش وقف نموده بود، از نقره و طلا و ظروف، در خانه خداونددرآورد.

And he brought [the] holy things of father his (and [the] holy things *Q(K)*) [the] house of Yahweh silver and gold and utensils.

۱۶ 16 و در میان آسا و بعشا، پادشاه اسرائیل، تمام روزهای ایشان جنگ می‌بود.

And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.

۱۷ 17 و بعشاپادشاه اسرائیل بر یهودا برآمده، رامه را بنا کرد تانگذارد که کسی نزد آسا، پادشاه یهودا رفت و آمدنماید.

And he came up Baasha [the] king of Israel on Judah and he built Ramah to not [surely] permitting [any] escaping and coming to Asa [the] king of Judah.

۱۸ 18 آنگاه آسا تمام نقره و طلا را که درخزانه های خانه خداوند و خزانه های خانه پادشاه باقی‌مانده بود گرفته، آن را به‌دست بندگان خودسپرد و آسا پادشاه ایشان را نزد بنهدد بن طبرمون بن حزیون، پادشاه ارام که در دمشق ساکن بودفرستاده، گفت:

And he took Asa all the silver and the gold which remained - in [the] treasuries of [the] house of Yahweh and [the] treasures of [the] house of (the king *Q(K)*) and he gave them in [the] hand of servants his and he sent them the king Asa to Ben Hadad [the] son of Tabrimmon [the] son of Hezion [the] king of Aram who dwelt in Damascus saying.

۱۹ 19 «در میان من و تو و در میان پدرمن و پدر تو عهد بوده است، اینک هدیه‌ای از نقره و طلا نزد تو فرستادم، پس بیا و عهد خود را بابعشا، پادشاه اسرائیل بشکن تا او از نزد من برود.»

A covenant [be] between me and between you between father my and between father your here! I send to you a gift silver and gold come break! covenant your with Baasha [the] king of Israel so he may go up from on me.

۲۰ 20 و بنهدد، آسا پادشاه را اجابت نموده، سرداران افواج خود را بر شهرهای اسرائیل فرستاد و عیون ودان و آبل بیت معکه و تمامی کنروت را با تمامی زمین نفتالی مغلوب ساخت.

And he listened Ben Hadad to the king Asa and he sent [the] commanders of the armies which [belonged] to him on [the] cities of Israel and he struck Ijon and Dan and Abel Beth Maacah and all Kinnereth with all [the] land of Naphtali.

۲۱ 21 و چون بعشا این را شنید بنا نمودن رامه را ترک کرده، در ترصه اقامت نمود.

And it was when heard Baasha and he ceased from building Ramah and he remained in Tirzah.

۲۲ 22 و آسا پادشاه در تمام یهودا ندادرداد که احدی از آن مستثنی نبود تا ایشان سنگهای رامه و چوب آن را که بعشا بنا می‌کردبرداشتند، و آسا پادشاه جبع بنیامین و مصفه را باآنها بنا نمود.

And the king Asa he made proclamation to all Judah there not [was] an exempt [person] and they carried off [the] stones of Ramah and wood its which he had built Baasha and he built with them the king Asa Geba of Benjamin and Mizpah.

۲۳ 23 و بقیه تمامی وقایع آسا و تهور اوو هرچه کرد و شهرهایی که بنا نمود، آیا در کتاب تواریخ ایام پادشاهان یهودا مذکور نیست؟ اما درزمان پیریش درد پا داشت.

And [the] rest of all [the] matters of Asa and all might his and all that he did and the cities which he built ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Judah only to [the] time of old age his he was sick feet his.

۲۴ 24 و آسا با پدران خویش خوابید و او را در شهر داود با پدرانش دفن کردند، و پسرش یهوشافاط در جایش سلطنت نمود.

And he lay down Asa with ancestors his and he was buried with ancestors his in [the] city of David ancestor his and he became king Jehoshaphat son his in place of him.

۲۵ 25 و در سال دوم آسا، پادشاه یهودا، ناداب بن یربعام بر اسرائیل پادشاه شد، و دو سال براسرائیل پادشاهی کرد.

And Nadab [the] son of Jeroboam he became king over Israel in year two of Asa [the] king of Judah and he reigned over Israel two years.

۲۶ 26 و آنچه در نظر خداوندناپسند بود، بجا می‌آورد. و به راه پدر خود و به گناه او که اسرائیل را به آن مرتکب ساخته بود، سلوک می‌نمود.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of father his and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.

۲۷ 27 و بعشا ابن اخیا که از خاندان یساکار بود، بروی فتنه انگیخت و بعشا او را در جبتون که از آن فلسطینیان بود، کشت و ناداب و تمامی اسرائیل، جبتون را محاصره نموده بودند.

And he conspired on him Baasha [the] son of Ahijah of [the] house of Issachar and he struck down him Baasha at Gibbethon which [belonged] to the Philistines and Nadab and all Israel [were] laying siege on Gibbethon.

۲۸ 28 و در سال سوم آسا، پادشاه یهودا، بعشا او را کشت و درجایش سلطنت نمود.

And he killed him Baasha in year three of Asa [the] king of Judah and he became king in place of him.

۲۹ 29 و چون او پادشاه شد، تمام خاندان یربعام را کشت و کسی را برای یربعام زنده نگذاشت تا همه را هلاک کرد موافق کلام خداوند که به واسطه بنده خود اخیای شیلونی گفته بود.

And it was when became king he he struck down all [the] house of Jeroboam not he left any breathing thing of Jeroboam until he had destroyed it according to [the] word of Yahweh which he spoke by [the] hand of servant his Ahijah Shilonite.

۳۰ 30 و این به‌سبب گناهانی شد که یربعام ورزیده، و اسرائیل را به آنها مرتکب گناه ساخته، و خشم یهوه، خدای اسرائیل را به آنها به هیجان آورده بود.

On [the] sins of Jeroboam which he sinned and which he caused to sin Israel by provocation his which he provoked to anger Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

۳۱ 31 و بقیه وقایع ناداب و هرچه کرد، آیا درکتاب تواریخ ایام پادشاهان اسرائیل مکتوب نیست؟

And [the] rest of [the] matters of Nadab and all that he did ¿ not [are] they written on [the] scroll of [the] matters of the days of [the] kings of Israel.

۳۲ 32 و در میان آسا و بعشا، پادشاه اسرائیل، در تمام روزهای ایشان جنگ می‌بود.

And war it was between Asa and between Baasha [the] king of Israel all days their.

۳۳ 33 در سال سوم آسا، پادشاه یهودا، بعشا ابن اخیا بر تمامی اسرائیل در ترصه پادشاه شد وبیست و چهار سال سلطنت نمود.

In year three of Asa [the] king of Judah he became king Baasha [the] son of Ahijah over all Israel in Tirzah twenty and four year[s].

۳۴ 34 و آنچه درنظر خداوند ناپسند بود، می‌کرد و به راه یربعام وبه گناهی که اسرائیل را به آن مرتکب گناه ساخته بود، سلوک می‌نمود.

And he did the evil in [the] eyes of Yahweh and he walked in [the] way of Jeroboam and in sin his which he caused to sin Israel.
