اول قرنتیان 12

۱ 1 اما درباره عطایای روحانی، ای برادران نمی خواهم شما بی‌خبر باشید.

Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

۲ 2 می دانید هنگامی که امت‌ها می‌بودید، به سوی بتهای گنگ برده می‌شدید بطوری که شما رامی بردند.

Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

۳ 3 پس شما را خبر می‌دهم که هرکه متکلم به روح خدا باشد، عیسی را اناتیمانمی گوید و احدی جزیه روح‌القدس عیسی راخداوند نمی تواند گفت.

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

۴ 4 و نعمتها انواع است ولی روح همان.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

۵ 5 وخدمتها انواع است اما خداوند همان.

And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

۶ 6 و عملهاانواع است لکن همان خدا همه را در همه عمل می‌کند.

And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all.

۷ 7 ولی هرکس را ظهور روح بجهت منفعت عطا می‌شود.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man for profit.

۸ 8 زیرا یکی را بوساطت روح، کلام حکمت داده می‌شود و دیگری را کلام علم، بحسب همان روح.

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another, the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

۹ 9 و یکی را ایمان به همان روح و دیگری را نعمتهای شفا دادن به همان روح.

To another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

۱۰ 10 و یکی را قوت معجزات ودیگری را نبوت و یکی را تمییز ارواح و دیگری را اقسام زبانها و دیگری را ترجمه زبانها.

To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, [divers] kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of languages:

۱۱ 11 لکن در جمیع اینها همان یک روح فاعل است که هرکس را فرد بحسب اراده خود تقسیم می‌کند.

But all these worketh that one and the same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

۱۲ 12 زیرا چنانکه بدن یک است و اعضای متعدددارد و تمامی اعضای بدن اگرچه بسیار است یکتن می‌باشد، همچنین مسیح نیز می‌باشد.

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.

۱۳ 13 زیرا که جمیع ما به یک روح در یک بدن تعمیدیافتم، خواه یهود، خواه یونانی، خواه غلام، خواه آزاد و همه از یک روح نوشانیده شدیم.

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

۱۴ 14 زیرابدن یک عضو نیست بلکه بسیار است.

For the body is not one member, but many.

۱۵ 15 اگر پاگوید چونکه دست نیستم از بدن نمی باشم، آیابدین سبب از بدن نیست؟

If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

۱۶ 16 و اگر گوش گویدچونکه چشم نیم از بدن نیستم، آیا بدین سبب ازبدن نیست؟

And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

۱۷ 17 اگر تمام بدن چشم بودی، کجامی بود شنیدن و اگر همه شنیدن بودی کجا می‌بودبوییدن؟

If the whole body [were] an eye, where [were] the hearing? If the whole [were] hearing, where [were] the smelling?

۱۸ 18 لکن الحال خدا هریک از اعضا را دربدن نهاد برحسب اراده خود.

But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

۱۹ 19 و اگر همه یک عضو بودی بدن کجا می‌بود؟

And if they were all one member, where [were] the body?

۲۰ 20 اما الان اعضابسیار است لیکن بدن یک.

But now [are they] many members, yet but one body.

۲۱ 21 و چشم دست رانمی تواند گفت که محتاج تو نیستم یا سر پایها رانیز که احتیاج به شما ندارم.

And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

۲۲ 22 بلکه علاوه بر این، آن اعضای بدن که ضعیفتر می‌نمایند، لازم ترمی باشند.

Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

۲۳ 23 و آنها را که پست‌تر اجزای بدن می‌پندارم، عزیزتر می‌داریم و اجزای قبیح ماجمال افضل دارد.

And those [members] of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness.

۲۴ 24 لکن اعضای جمیله ما رااحتیاجی نیست، بلکه خدا بدن را مرتب ساخت بقسمی که ناقص را بیشتر حرمت داد،

For our comely [parts] have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that [part] which lacked:

۲۵ 25 تا که جدایی در بدن نیفتد، بلکه اعضا به برابری در فکریکدیگر باشند.

That there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.

۲۶ 26 و اگر یک عضو دردمند گردد، سایر اعضا با آن همدرد باشند و اگر عضوی عزت یابد، باقی اعضا با او به خوشی آیند.

And thus if one member suffers all the members suffer with it; or, if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

۲۷ 27 اما شما بدن مسیح هستید و فرد اعضای آن می‌باشید.

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

۲۸ 28 و خدا قرارداد بعضی را درکلیسا: اول رسولان، دوم انبیا، سوم معلمان، بعدقوات، پس نعمتهای شفا دادن و اعانات و تدابیر واقسام زبانها.

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of languages.

۲۹ 29 آیا همه رسول هستند، یا همه انبیا، یا همه معلمان، یا همه قوات؟

[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all workers of miracles?

۳۰ 30 یا همه نعمتهای شفا دارند، یا همه به زبانها متکلم هستند، یا همه ترجمه می‌کنند؟

Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak in languages? do all interpret?

۳۱ 31 لکن نعمتهای بهتر را به غیرت بطلبید و طریق افضلتر نیز به شمانشان می‌دهم.

But covet earnestly the best gifts. And yet I show to you a more excellent way.
