اول قرنتیان 10

۱ 1 زیرا‌ای برادران نمی خواهم شما بی خبر باشید از اینکه پدران ما همه زیرابر بودند و همه از دریا عبور نمودند

Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

۲ 2 و همه به موسی تعمید یافتند، در ابر و در دریا؛

and were all immersed into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

۳ 3 و همه همان خوراک روحانی را خوردند

and all ate the same spiritual food;

۴ 4 و همه همان شرب روحانی را نوشیدند، زیرا که می‌آشامیدنداز صخره روحانی که از عقب ایشان می‌آمد و آن صخره مسیح بود.

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Messiah.

۵ 5 لیکن از اکثر ایشان خداراضی نبود، زیرا که در بیابان انداخته شدند.

However with most of them, God was not well pleased, for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

۶ 6 و این امور نمونه‌ها برای ما شد تا ماخواهشمند بدی نباشیم، چنانکه ایشان بودند؛

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.

۷ 7 ونه بت‌پرست شوید، مثل بعضی از ایشان، چنانکه مکتوب است: «قوم به اکل و شرب نشستند وبرای لهو و لعب برپا شدند.»

Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

۸ 8 و نه زنا کنیم چنانکه بعضی از ایشان کردند و در یک روزبیست و سه هزار نفر هلاک گشتند.

Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.

۹ 9 و نه مسیح راتجربه کنیم، چنانکه بعضی از ایشان کردند و ازمارها هلاک گردیدند.

Let’s not test Messiah, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

۱۰ 10 و نه همهمه کنید، چنانکه بعضی از ایشان کردند و هلاک کننده ایشان را هلاک کرد.

Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.

۱۱ 11 و این همه بطور مثل بدیشان واقع شد وبرای تنبیه ما مکتوب گردید که اواخر عالم به ما رسیده است. (aiōn g165)

Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come. (aiōn g165)

۱۲ 12 پس آنکه گمان برد که قایم است، باخبر باشد که نیفتد.

Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.

۱۳ 13 هیچ تجربه جز آنکه مناسب بشر باشد، شما را فرو نگرفت. اما خداامین است که نمی گذارد شما فوق طاقت خودآزموده شوید، بلکه باتجربه مفری نیز می‌سازد تایارای تحمل آن را داشته باشید.

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

۱۴ 14 لهذا‌ای عزیزان من از بت‌پرستی بگریزید.

Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry.

۱۵ 15 به خردمندان سخن می‌گویم: خود حکم کنیدبرآنچه می‌گویم.

I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say.

۱۶ 16 پیاله برکت که آن را تبرک می‌خوانیم، آیا شراکت در خون مسیح نیست؟ ونانی را که پاره می‌کنیم، آیا شراکت در بدن مسیح نی؟

The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Messiah? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Messiah?

۱۷ 17 زیرا ما که بسیاریم، یک نان و یکتن می‌باشیم چونکه همه از یک نان قسمت می‌یابیم.

Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

۱۸ 18 اسرائیل جسمانی را ملاحظه کنید! آیاخورندگان قربانی‌ها شریک قربانگاه نیستند؟

Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

۱۹ 19 پس چه گویم؟ آیا بت چیزی می‌باشد؟ یا که قربانی بت چیزی است؟

What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

۲۰ 20 نی! بلکه آنچه امت هاقربانی می‌کنند، برای دیوها می‌گذرانند نه برای خدا؛ و نمی خواهم شما شریک دیوها باشید.

But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons.

۲۱ 21 محال است که هم از پیاله خداوند و هم از پیاله دیوها بنوشید؛ و هم از مایده خداوند و هم ازمایده دیوها نمی توانید قسمت برد.

You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

۲۲ 22 آیاخداوند را به غیرت می‌آوریم یا از او تواناترمی باشیم؟

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

۲۳ 23 همه‌چیز جایز است، لیکن همه مفیدنیست؛ همه رواست، لیکن همه بنا نمی کند.

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.

۲۴ 24 هرکس نفع خود را نجوید، بلکه نفع دیگری را.

Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbour’s good.

۲۵ 25 هرآنچه را در قصابخانه می‌فروشند، بخوریدو هیچ مپرسید به‌خاطر ضمیر.

Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

۲۶ 26 زیرا که جهان و پری آن از آن خداوند است.

for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.”

۲۷ 27 هرگاه کسی ازبی ایمانان از شما وعده خواهد و می‌خواهیدبروید، آنچه نزد شما گذارند بخورید و هیچ مپرسید بجهت ضمیر.

But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.

۲۸ 28 اما اگر کسی به شماگوید «این قربانی بت است»، مخورید به‌خاطر آن کس که خبر داد و بجهت ضمیر، زیرا که جهان وپری آن از آن خداوند است.

But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”

۲۹ 29 اما ضمیرمی گویم نه از خودت بلکه ضمیر آن دیگر؛ زیراچرا ضمیر دیگری بر آزادی من حکم کند؟

Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

۳۰ 30 واگر من به شکر بخورم، چرا بر من افترا زنند به‌سبب آن چیزی که من برای آن شکر می‌کنم؟

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?

۳۱ 31 پس خواه بخورید، خواه بنوشید، خواه هرچه کنید، همه را برای جلال خدا بکنید.

Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

۳۲ 32 یهودیان و یونانیان و کلیسای خدا را لغزش مدهید.

Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;

۳۳ 33 چنانکه من نیز در هرکاری همه را خوش می‌سازم و نفع خود را طالب نیستم، بلکه نفع بسیاری را تا نجات یابند.

even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.
