اول تواریخ 23

۱ 1 و چون داود پير و سالخورده شد، پسر خود سُليمان را به پادشاهي اسرائيل نصب نمود.

So when Dauid was olde and full of dayes, he made Salomon his sonne King ouer Israel.

۲ 2 و تمامي سروران اسرائيل و کاهنان و لاويان را جمع کرد.

And hee gathered together all the princes of Israel with the Priestes and the Leuites.

۳ 3 و لاويان از سي ساله و بالاتر شمرده شدند و عدد ايشان بر حسب سرهاي مردان ايشان، سي و هشت هزار بود.

And the Leuites were numbred from ye age of thirtie yeere and aboue, and their nomber according to their summe was eight and thirtie thousand men.

۴ 4 از ايشان بيست و چهار هزار به جهت نظارت عمل خانه خداوند و شش هزار سروران و داوران بودند.

Of these foure and twentie thousande were set to aduance the worke of the house of the Lord, and sixe thousand were ouerseers and iudges.

۵ 5 و چهار هزار دربانان و چهار هزار نفر بودند که خداوند را به آلاتي که به جهت تسبيح ساخته شد، تسبيح خواندند.

And foure thousand were porters, and foure thousande praised the Lord with instruments which he made to praise the Lord.

۶ 6 و داود ايشان را بر حسب پسران لاوي يعني جَرشون و قَهات و مَراري به فرقه ها تقسيم نمود.

So Dauid deuided offices vnto them, to wit, to the sonnes of Leui, to Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

۷ 7 از جَرشونيان لَعدان و شِمعي.

Of the Gershonites were Laadan and Shimei.

۸ 8 پسران لَعدان اول يحيئيل و زيتام و سومين يوئيل.

The sonnes of Laadan, the chiefe was Iehiel, and Zetham and Ioel, three.

۹ 9 پسران شِمعي شَلُومِيت و حَزِيئِيل و هاران سه نفر. اينان رؤساي خاندانهاي آباي لَعدان بودند.

The Sonnes of Shimei, Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haram, three: these were the chiefe fathers of Laadan.

۱۰ 10 و پسران شِمعي يحَت و زينا و يعُوش و بَريعَه. اينان چهار پسر شِمعي بودند.

Also the sonnes of Shimei were Iahath, Zina, Ieush, and Beriah: these foure were ye sonnes of Shimei.

۱۱ 11 و يحَت اولين و زيزا دومين و يعُوش و بَريعَه پسران بسيار نداشتند؛ از اين سبب يک خاندان آبا از ايشان شمرده شد.

And Iahath was the chiefe, and Zizah the seconde, but Ieush and Beriah had not many sonnes: therfore they were in the families of their father, counted but as one.

۱۲ 12 پسران قَهات عَمرام و يصهار و حَبرُون و عُزّيئيل چهار نفر.

The sonnes of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron aud Vzziel, foure.

۱۳ 13 پسران عَمرام هارون و موسي و هارون ممتاز شد تا او و پسرانش قدس الاقداس را پيوسته تقديس نمايند و به حضور خداوند بخور بسوزانند و او را خدمت نمايند و به اسم او هميشه اوقات برکت دهند.

The sonnes of Amram, Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated to sanctifie the most holy place, hee and his sonnes for euer to burne incense before the Lord, to minister to him, and to blesse in his Name for euer.

۱۴ 14 و پسران موسي مرد خدا با سبط لاوي ناميده شدند.

Moses also the man of God, and his children were named with the tribe of Leui.

۱۵ 15 پسران موسي جَرشوم و اَلِعازار.

The sonnes of Moses were Gershom, and Eliezer,

۱۶ 16 از پسران جَرشُوم شَبُوئيل رئيس بود.

Of the sonnes of Gershom was Shebuel the chiefe.

۱۷ 17 و از پسران اَلِعازار رَحَبيا رئيس بود و اَلِعازار را پسر ديگر نبود؛ اما پسران رَحَبيا بسيار زياد بودند.

And the sonne of Eliezer was Rehabiah the chiefe: for Eliezer had none other sonnes: but the sonnes of Rehabiah were very many.

۱۸ 18 از پسران يصهار شَلُوميت رئيس بود.

The sone of Izhar was Shelomith ye chiefe.

۱۹ 19 پسران حَبرُون، اولين يرِيا و دومين اَمريا و سومين يحزِيئيل و چهارمين يقمَعام.

The sonnes of Hebron were Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the third, and Iekamiam the fourth.

۲۰ 20 پسران عُزّيئيل اولين ميکا و دومين يشِّيا.

The sones of Vzziel were Michah the first, and Isshiah the second.

۲۱ 21 پسران مَراري مَحلي و مُوشِي و پسران مَحلِي اَلِعازار و قَيس.

The sonnes of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The sonnes of Mahli, Eleazar and Kish.

۲۲ 22 و اَلِعازار مُرد و او را پسري نبود؛ ليکن دختران داشت و برادران ايشان پسرانِ قَيس ايشان را به زني گرفتند.

And Eleazar dyed, and had no sonnes, but daughters, and their brethren the sonnes of Kish tooke them.

۲۳ 23 پسران مُوشِي مَحلي و عادَر و يريموت سه نفر بودند.

The sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth, three.

۲۴ 24 اينان پسران لاوي موافق خاندانهاي آباي خود و رؤساي خاندانهاي آبا از آناني که شمرده شدند بر حسب شماره اسماي سرهاي خود بودند که از بيست ساله و بالاتر در عمل خدمت خانه خداوند مي پرداختند.

These were the sonnes of Leui according to the house of their fathers, euen the chiefe fathers according to their offices, according to the nomber of names and their summe that did the worke for the seruice of the house of the Lord from the age of twentie yeeres and aboue.

۲۵ 25 زيرا که داود گفت: « يهُوَه خداي اسرائيل قوم خويش را آرامي داده است و او در اورشليم تا به ابد ساکن مي باشد.

For Dauid sayde, The Lord God of Israel hath giuen rest vnto his people, that they may dwell in Ierusalem for euer.

۲۶ 26 و نيز لاويان را ديگر لازم نيست که مسکن و همه اسباب خدمت را بردارند.»

And also the Leuites shall no more beare the Tabernacle and al the vessels for the seruice thereof.

۲۷ 27 لهذا بر حسب فرمان آخر داود پسران لاوي از بيست ساله و بالاتر شمرده شدند.

Therefore according to the last wordes of Dauid, the Leuites were nombred from twentie yeere and aboue,

۲۸ 28 زيرا که منصب ايشان به طرف بني هارون بود تا خانه خداوند را خدمت نمايند، در صحن ها و حجره ها و براي تطهير همه چيزهاي مقدس و عمل خدمت خانه خدا.

And their office was vnder the hand of the sonnes of Aaron, for the seruice of the house of the Lord in the courtes, and chambers, and in the purifiyng of all holy thinges, and in the worke of the seruice of the house of God,

۲۹ 29 و بر نان تَقدِمه و آرد نرم به جهت هديه آردي و قرصهاي فطير و آنچه بر ساج پخته مي شود و رَبيکه ها و بر همه کيلها و وزنها.

Both for the shewbread, and for the fine floure, for the meate offring, and for the vnleauened cakes, and for the fryed things, and for that which was rosted, and for all measures and cise,

۳۰ 30 و تا هر صبح براي تسبيح و حمد خداوند حاضر شوند و همچنين هر شام.

And for to stand euery morning, to giue thanks and praise to the Lord, and likewise at euen,

۳۱ 31 و به جهت گذرانيدن همه قرباني هاي سوختني براي خداوند در هر روز سبت و غرّه ها و عيدها بر حسب شماره و بر وفق قانون آنها دائماً به حضور خداوند.

And to offer all burnt offrings vnto the Lord, in the Sabbaths, in the moneths, and at the appointed times, according to the nomber and according to their custome continually before the Lord,

۳۲ 32 و براي نگاه داشتن وظيفه خيمه اجتماع و وظيفه قدس و وظيفه برادران خود بني هارون در خدمت خانه خداوند.

And that they should keepe the charge of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and the charge of ye holy place, and the charge of ye sonnes of Aaron their brethren in the seruice of ye house of the Lord.
