ਰੋਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 2
1 ੧ ਸੋ ਹੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਤੂੰ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਕੋਈ ਉੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਦੂਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਉਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਆਪ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
Wherefore thou hast no excuse, O man, who judgest thy neighbour; for in that for which thou judgest thy neighbour, thou condemnest thyself; for in those which thou judgest, thou also art conversant.
AND we know what is the judgment of Aloha in truth against them who in these things converse.
3 ੩ ਫੇਰ ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ, ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪ ਉਹੀ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਭਲਾ, ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਤੋਂ ਬਚ ਨਿੱਕਲੇਗਾ?
But thinkest thou, O man, who judgest them who in these converse, while thou also conversest in them, that thou wilt escape the judgment of Aloha?
4 ੪ ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਫ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਬਰ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਛਤਾਵੇ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਪਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
Or upon the riches of his goodness, and upon his long-suffering, and upon the space he giveth thee, presumest thou? and knowest not that the goodness of Aloha unto repentance leadeth thee?
5 ੫ ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਠੋਰਤਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਪਛਤਾਵੇ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਮਨ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਪਰਗਟ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਲਈ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਮਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ।
Yet, through the hardness of thy unrepenting heart, layest thou up the treasure of wrath for the day of wrath, and the revelation of the just judgment of Aloha,
who rendereth to every man according to his works.
7 ੭ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭਲੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮਹਿਮਾ, ਆਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਖੋਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ। (aiōnios g166)
To them who seek, in perseverance of good works, glory and honour and incorruption, he giveth eternal life; (aiōnios g166)
8 ੮ ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਦ੍ਰੋਹੀ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਸਗੋਂ ਝੂਠ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
but to them who are rebellious, and obey not the truth, but unrighteousness obey, he will render wrath and indignation
9 ੯ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਹਰੇਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਜਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੁਰਿਆਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਯੂਨਾਨੀ ਉੱਤੇ।
and affliction and distress, upon every man who worketh evils; to Jihudoyee first, and to Aramoyee;
10 ੧੦ ਪਰ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਭਲਿਆਈ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਮਹਿਮਾ, ਆਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਫੇਰ ਯੂਨਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ।
but glory and honour and peace to every one who worketh good, to the Jihudoya first, and also to the Aramoya;
for there is no acceptance of faces with Aloha.
12 ੧੨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿੰਨਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਸੋ ਬਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਵੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤੇ ਸੋ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
For they who without the law have sinned, without the law also will perish: and they who in the law have sinned, by the law will be judged.
13 ੧੩ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਸੁਣਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਾਣੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੇ, ਪਰ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਏ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
For not the hearers of the law are righteous before Aloha, but the doers of the law are justified.
14 ੧੪ ਜਦ ਕਿ ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਭਾਓ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਹਨ।
FOR if the Gentiles, who have not the law, from their nature shall perform the law, these, while not having the law, unto themselves become a law.
15 ੧੫ ਸੋ ਉਹ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦੀਆ ਹਨ, ਨਾਲੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਵੇਕ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਆਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪੋ ਵਿੱਚੀ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਤੇ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
And these show the work of law written upon their hearts, and their conscience testifieth of them, while their reasonings accuse or excuse one another;
16 ੧੬ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
in the day when Aloha judgeth the secrets of men according to my gospel by Jeshu Meshiha.
But if thou (who) a Jihudoya art called, and reposest on the law, and boastest in Aloha,
18 ੧੮ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ-ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
because thou knowest his will, and distinguishest the things that are fitting, because thou art learned from the law;
19 ੧੯ ਅਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਅੰਨ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹ ਦੱਸਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਾਨਣ ਹਾਂ
and confidest upon thyself that thou art a guide of the blind, and a light to those who are in darkness,
20 ੨੦ ਅਤੇ ਨਦਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਲਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਉਸਤਾਦ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਸਰੂਪ ਜੋ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ।
and an instructor of the wanting-in-mind, and a teacher of children, and hast a type of knowledge and of truth in the law:
21 ੨੧ ਤਾਂ ਫੇਰ ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਦੂਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਕੀ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਖਾਉਂਦਾ? ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਚੋਰੀ ਨਾ ਕਰ, ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਕਿਉਂ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
Thou, then, who teachest others, dost thou not teach thyself? and who preachest that men should not steal, dost thou steal?
22 ੨੨ ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ, ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰਨਾ, ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਕਿਉਂ ਵਿਭਚਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ? ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਮੂਰਤੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਆਪ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੈਕਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੁੱਟਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
and who sayest they should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? And thou who condemnest idols, dost thou despoil the sanctuary?
23 ੨੩ ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਘਮੰਡ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?
And thou who boastest of the law, in this that thou transgressest against the law, Aloha himself despisest thou?
For the name of Aloha through you is blasphemed among the Gentiles, as it is written.
25 ੨੫ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਤਾਂ ਲਾਭ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰੇਂ ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋਵੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰੀ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਤੋਂ ਕੀ ਲਾਭ।
For circumcision profiteth, if thou accomplish the law; but if thou transgress the law, thy circumcision is become uncircumcisedness.
26 ੨੬ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਜੇ ਅਸੁੰਨਤੀ ਲੋਕ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਨ, ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਸੁੰਨਤ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਨਾ ਗਿਣੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
But if the uncircumcision shall keep the commandment of the law, is not uncircumcisedness reckoned to him (as) circumcision?
27 ੨੭ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੁਭਾਓ ਤੋਂ ਅਸੁੰਨਤੀ ਹਨ ਜੇ ਉਹ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਤਾਂ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਇਆ ਬਿਵਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਨਾ ਠਹਿਰਾਉਣਗੇ?
And the uncircumcision, who by nature accomplishes the law will judge thee, who with the scripture and with circumcision, transgressest against the law.
FOR it is not in outwardness that he is a Jihudoya nor is that which is seen in the flesh circumcision:
29 ੨੯ ਸਗੋਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਉਹੋ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਨਤ ਉਹੋ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਆਤਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਨਾ ਲਿਖਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੋਭਾ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ।
but he is a Jihudoya who is one in inwardness; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not from the sons of men, but from Aloha.
