ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 70

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ, ਯਾਦ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਲਈ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਛੁਟਕਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਛੇਤੀ ਕਰ!

Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him. O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.

2 ੨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਦੇ ਗਾਹਕ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਘਬਰਾ ਜਾਣ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਬੁਰਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਪਿਛਾਂਹ ਹਟਾਏ ਜਾਣ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਣ!

Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:

3 ੩ ਜਿਹੜੇ “ਆਹਾ, ਆਹਾ!” ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਲਾਜ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਪਿਛਾਂਹ ਹਟ ਜਾਣ!

Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: Tis well, tis well.

4 ੪ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਖੋਜ਼ੀ ਹਨ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੁਸ਼ ਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੋਣ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੇਰੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਸਦਾ ਆਖਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਹੋਵੇ!

Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.

5 ੫ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਮਸਕੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਗਾਲ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਛੇਤੀ ਕਰ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਢਿੱਲ ਨਾ ਲਾ!।

But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.
