ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 69

1 ੧ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੀਮ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਊਦ ਦਾ ਗੀਤ। ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ, ਪਾਣੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਾਨ ਤੱਕ ਜੋ ਆਏ ਹਨ!

For the chief musician; set to Shoshannim. A psalm of David. Save me, God; for the waters have put my life in danger.

2 ੨ ਮੈਂ ਡਾਢੇ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਧੱਸ ਚੱਲਿਆ ਹਾਂ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਮੈਂ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

I sink in deep mire, where there is no place to stand; I have come into deep waters, where the floods flow over me.

3 ੩ ਮੈਂ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਥੱਕ ਗਿਆ, ਮੇਰਾ ਸੰਘ ਬਹਿ ਗਿਆ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦਿਆਂ-ਉਡੀਕਦਿਆਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਅੱਖੀਆਂ ਰਹਿ ਗਈਆਂ!

I am weary with my crying; my throat is dry; my eyes fail while I wait for my God.

4 ੪ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਧਿਗਾਣੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਨ, ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਢੂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਨਹੱਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਬਲਵੰਤ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੁੱਟਿਆ, ਓਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੋੜਨਾ ਪਿਆ।

Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs on my head; those who would cut me off, being my enemies for wrong reasons, are mighty; what I did not steal, I have to give back.

5 ੫ ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਤੈਥੋਂ ਲੁਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਹੀਂ।

God, you know my foolishness, and my sins are not hidden from you.

6 ੬ ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਡੀਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਲੱਜਿਆਵਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ! ਹੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਾਲੇ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ!।

Let not those who hope in you be put to shame because of me, Lord Yahweh of hosts; let not those who seek you be brought to dishonor because of me, God of Israel.

7 ੭ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਸਹੀ, ਲਾਜ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

For your sake I have borne rebuke; shame has covered my face.

8 ੮ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਗਾਨਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮਾਂ-ਜਾਇਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੈਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ,

I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother's children.

9 ੯ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਗ਼ੈਰਤ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਿੰਦਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਆ ਪਈਆਂ।

For the zeal of your house has eaten me up, and the rebukes of those who rebuke you have fallen on me.

10 ੧੦ ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਰੋ-ਰੋ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਖਪਾਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋਇਆ!

When I wept and did not eat food, they insulted me.

11 ੧੧ ਜਦ ਮੈਂ ਤੱਪੜ ਆਪਣਾ ਬਿਸਤਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਉਤ ਬਣਿਆ।

When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became the object of a proverb to them.

12 ੧੨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੈਠਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਾਬੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿੱਠਾਂ ਜੋੜਦੇ ਹਨ।

Those who sit in the city gate talk about me; I am a song of drunkards.

13 ੧੩ ਪਰ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਠੀਕ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਡਾਢੀ ਦਯਾ ਨਾਲ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੱਚੇ ਬਚਾਓ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ।

But as for me, my prayer is to you, Yahweh, at a time that you will accept; answer me in the trustworthiness of your salvation.

14 ੧੪ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਚਿੱਕੜ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਖੁੱਭ ਨਾ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਪਾਣੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਵਾਂ!

Pull me out of the mire, and do not let me sink; let me be taken away from those who hate me and rescued out of the deep waters.

15 ੧੫ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਛੱਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਨਾ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ, ਨਾ ਡੂੰਘ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲੇ, ਨਾ ਗੋਰ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਮੀਟ ਲਵੇ!

Do not let the floods of water overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Do not let the pit shut its mouth on me.

16 ੧੬ ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਯਾ ਭਲੀ ਹੈ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਬੇਓੜਕ ਰਹਮਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਕਰ,

Answer me, Yahweh, for your covenant faithfulness is good; because your mercies for me are many, turn to me.

17 ੧੭ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਨਾ ਲੁਕਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਡਾਢਾ ਔਖਾ ਹਾਂ! ਛੇਤੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਤਰ ਦੇ।

Do not hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress; answer me quickly.

18 ੧੮ ਮੇਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਡਾ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੁਟਕਾਰਾ ਦੇ!

Come to me and redeem me. Because of my enemies, ransom me.

19 ੧੯ ਮੇਰੀ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ, ਮੇਰੀ ਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਮੇਰੇ ਸਭ ਵਿਰੋਧੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਨ।

You know my rebuke, my shame, and my dishonor; my adversaries are all before you.

20 ੨੦ ਨਿੰਦਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਦਿਲ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਮਾਂਦਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਡੀਕਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਹੈ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਧੀਰਜ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ, ਪਰ ਓਹ ਵੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ।

Rebuke has broken my heart; I am full of heaviness; I looked for someone to take pity, but there was none; I looked for comforters, but I found none.

21 ੨੧ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿੱਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਹ ਦੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਕਾ ਪਿਆਇਆ।

They gave me poison for my food; in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

22 ੨੨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੇਜ਼ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਾਹੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਉਹ ਸੁੱਖ-ਸਾਂਦ ਹਨ ਉਹ ਫੰਦਾ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇ!

Let their table before them become a snare; when they think they are in safety, let it become a trap.

23 ੨੩ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਨ੍ਹੇਰਾ ਛਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਣ, ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੱਕ ਸਦਾ ਕੰਬਦੇ ਰਹਿਣ!

Let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see; and always make their loins shake.

24 ੨੪ ਆਪਣਾ ਰੋਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਢਾਲ਼ ਦੇ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਦੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫੜ ਲਵੇ!

Pour out your indignation on them, and let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.

25 ੨੫ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਉੱਜੜ ਜਾਵੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਨਾ ਵੱਸੇ,

Let their place be a desolation; let no one live in their tents.

26 ੨੬ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਓਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਘਾਇਲ ਕਿਤੇ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ!

For they persecuted the one you struck down. They repeated the account of the pain of those you have wounded.

27 ੨੭ ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਦੀ ਵਧਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਨਾ ਦੇ!

Accuse them of having committed iniquity after iniquity; do not let them come into your righteous victory.

28 ੨੮ ਓਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਪੋਥੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮੇਟ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ, ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖੇ ਨਾ ਜਾਣ!।

Let them be blotted out of the Book of Life and not be written down along with the righteous.

29 ੨੯ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਅਧੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਖੀ ਹਾਂ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰਾ ਬਚਾਓ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਖਲ੍ਹਿਆਰੇ।

But I am poor and sorrowful; let your salvation, God, set me up on high.

30 ੩੦ ਮੈਂ ਗੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ,

I will praise the name of God with a song and will exalt him with thanksgiving.

31 ੩੧ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਬਲ਼ਦ ਨਾਲੋਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਸਿੰਙ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਵੱਛੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਭਾਵੇਗਾ।

That will please Yahweh better than an ox or a bull that has horns and hooves.

32 ੩੨ ਦੀਨ ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਲਿਬੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮਨ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਰਹੇ!

The meek have seen it and are glad; you who seek after God, let your hearts live.

33 ੩੩ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਤਾਂ ਕੰਗਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਗ਼ੁਲਾਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੁੱਛ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ।

For Yahweh hears the needy and does not despise his prisoners.

34 ੩੪ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ!

Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and everything that moves in them.

35 ੩੫ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਬਣਾਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਓਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਣਗੇ,

For God will save Zion and will rebuild the cities of Judah; the people will live there and have it as a possession.

36 ੩੬ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮੀ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣਗੇ।

His servants' descendants will inherit it; and those who love his name will live there.
