ਹਿਜ਼ਕੀਏਲ 40
1 ੧ ਸਾਡੀ ਗੁਲਾਮੀ ਦੇ ਪੱਚੀਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਦਸ ਤਾਰੀਖ਼ ਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਉਹ ਚੌਦਵਾਂ ਸਾਲ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ।
In the twenty-fifth year of our transmigration, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, on this very day, the hand of the Lord was placed upon me, and he brought me to that place.
2 ੨ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਪਰਬਤ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਤਾਰਿਆ। ਉਸੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਣੋ ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਅਕਾਰ ਸੀ।
In the visions of God, he brought me into the land of Israel, and he released me on an exceedingly high mountain, on which there was something like the edifice of a city, verging toward the south.
3 ੩ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਇੱਕ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਪਿੱਤਲ ਵਰਗਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਣ ਦੀ ਰੱਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਾਨਾ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਈ ਫਾਟਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੜਾ ਸੀ।
And he led me into that place. And behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a linen rope in his hand, and a measuring reed in his hand. And he was standing at the gate.
4 ੪ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ, ਹੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੇਖ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਵਾਂ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੇ ਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਲਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਇੱਥੇ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵਿਖਾਵਾਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਤੂੰ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ।
And the same man said to me: “Son of man, look with your eyes, and listen with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I will reveal to you. For you have been brought to this place, so that these things may be revealed to you. Announce all that you see to the house of Israel.”
5 ੫ ਤਾਂ ਵੇਖੋ, ਭਵਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਕੰਧ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਣਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਾਨਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਛੇ ਹੱਥ ਲੰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਹੱਥ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੱਥ ਤੋਂ ਚਾਰ ਉਂਗਲਾਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਘਰ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਮਿਣੀ, ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨਾ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਚਾਈ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨਾ।
And behold, there was a wall outside of the house, encircling it all around, and in the man’s hand was a measuring reed of six cubits and a palm. And he measured the width of the edifice with one reed; likewise, the height with one reed.
6 ੬ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਪੌੜੀ ਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ। ਉਸ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਰਦਲ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਣਿਆ ਜੋ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨਾ ਚੌੜੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਰਦਲ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨਾ ਸੀ।
And he went to the gate which looked toward the east, and he ascended by its steps. And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as one reed, that is, one threshold was one reed in width.
7 ੭ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨਾ ਲੰਮੀ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨਾ ਚੌੜੀ ਸੀ। ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਪੰਜ-ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਾਸਲਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਸਰਦਲ ਇੱਕ ਕਾਨਾ ਸੀ।
And a chamber was one reed in length and one reed in width. And between the chambers, there were five cubits.
And the threshold of the gate, next to the inner vestibule of the gate, was one reed.
9 ੯ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਅੱਠ ਹੱਥ ਮਿਣੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਦੋ ਹੱਥ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਘਰ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ।
And he measured the vestibule of the gate as eight cubits, and its front as two cubits. But the vestibule of the gate was inside.
10 ੧੦ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਇੱਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਉੱਧਰ ਸਨ, ਇਹ ਤਿੰਨੇ ਮਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਧਰ ਉੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਨਾਪ ਸੀ।
Moreover, the chambers of the gate, toward the way of the east, were three from one side to the other. The three were of one measure, and the fronts were of one measure, on both sides.
And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as ten cubits, and the length of the gate as thirteen cubits.
12 ੧੨ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦਾ ਥਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੱਥ ਇੱਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਧਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਛੇ ਹੱਥ ਇੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਛੇ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਧਰ ਸਨ।
And before the chambers, the border was one cubit. And on both sides, the border was one cubit. But the chambers were six cubits, from one side to the other.
13 ੧੩ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੀ ਦੀ ਛੱਤ ਤੱਕ ਪੱਚੀ ਹੱਥ ਚੌੜਾ ਮਿਣਿਆ, ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਾ।
And he measured the gate, from the roof of one chamber to the roof of another, twenty-five cubits in width, from door to door.
And he found the fronts to be sixty cubits. And at the front, there was a court for the gate on every side all around.
15 ੧੫ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੱਕ, ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਾਸਲਾ ਸੀ।
And before the face of the gate, which extended even to the face of the vestibule of the gate of the interior, there were fifty cubits.
16 ੧੬ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਝਰੋਖੇ ਸਨ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੀ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਝਰੋਖੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਖਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ।
And there were slanting windows in the chambers and at their fronts, which were within the gate on every side all around. And similarly, there were also windows in the vestibules all around the interior, and there were images of palm trees before the fronts.
17 ੧੭ ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਰਸ਼ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਫਰਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੀਹ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
And he led me away to the outer court, and behold, there were storerooms and a layer of pavement stones throughout the court. Thirty storerooms encircled the pavement.
And the pavement in front of the gates, along the length of the gates, was lower.
19 ੧੯ ਤਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਦੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬਾਹਰ-ਬਾਹਰ ਸੌ ਹੱਥ ਮਿਣੀ।
And he measured the width, from the face of the lower gate to the front of the outer part of the inner court, to be one hundred cubits, to the east and to the north.
Likewise, he measured the gate of the outer court, which looked to the way of the north, to be as much in length as in width.
21 ੨੧ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਤੇ ਡਾਟਾਂ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਪ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਪੱਚੀ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ।
And its chambers were three from one side to the other. And its front and its vestibule, in accord with the measure of the former gate, were fifty cubits in its length and twenty-five cubits in width.
22 ੨੨ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ, ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਖਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਪ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਸੱਤ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ।
Now its windows, and the vestibule, and the engravings were in accord with the measure of the gate which looked to the east. And its ascent was by seven steps, and a vestibule was before it.
23 ੨੩ ਅੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਦਾ ਫਾਟਕ ਉਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਬ ਵੱਲ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਾਲੇ ਫਾਟਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਤੋਂ ਫਾਟਕ ਤੱਕ ਸੌ ਹੱਥ ਮਿਣਿਆ।
And the gate of the inner court was opposite the gate of the north, and that of the east. And he measured from gate to gate as one hundred cubits.
24 ੨੪ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਵੇਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਫਾਟਕ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਿਣਿਆ।
And he led me to the way of the south, and behold, there was a gate which looked toward the south. And he measured its front and its vestibule to be the same as the measures above.
25 ੨੫ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਲੰਬਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਪੱਚੀ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ।
And its windows and the vestibule all around were like the other windows: fifty cubits in length and twenty-five cubits in width.
26 ੨੬ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਈ ਸੱਤ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਖਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ, ਇੱਕ ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਓਸ ਪਾਸੇ।
And there were seven steps to ascend to it, and a vestibule before its doors. And there were engraved palm trees, one on each side, at its front.
And there was a gate at the inner court, on the way to the south. And he measured from one gate to another, on the way to the south, to be one hundred cubits.
28 ੨੮ ਤਦ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੇਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਣਿਆ।
And he led me into the inner court, to the south gate. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.
29 ੨੯ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੇਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਲੰਬਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹੱਥ ਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਪੱਚੀ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ।
Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule had the same measures. And its windows and its vestibule all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
And the vestibule all around was twenty-five cubits in length, and five cubits in width.
31 ੩੧ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਖਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਈ ਅੱਠ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
And its vestibule was toward the outer court, and its palm trees were at the front. And there were eight steps to ascend to it.
And he led me into the inner court, along the way of the east. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.
33 ੩੩ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ, ਥੰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੇਚਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਲੰਬਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਪੱਚੀ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ।

34 ੩੪ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਧਰ ਉੱਧਰ ਖਜ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਅੱਠ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

36 ੩੬ ਉਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਪੰਜਾਹ ਹੱਥ ਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਪੱਚੀ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ।
Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule, and its windows all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
37 ੩੭ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮ੍ਹ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵੱਲ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਇੱਧਰ ਉੱਧਰ ਖਜ਼ੂਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਮੂਰਤਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਈ ਅੱਠ ਪੌੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
And its vestibule looked toward the outer court. And an engraving of palm trees at its front was on one side and the other. And its ascent was by eight steps.
And at each one of the storerooms, there was a door at the front of the gates. There, they washed the holocaust.
39 ੩੯ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਮੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੇ ਦੋ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਸਨ, ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ, ਪਾਪ ਬਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਕੱਟੀਆਂ ਜਾਣ।
And at the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables on one side, and two tables on the other side, so that the holocaust, and the offering for sin, and the offering for transgression could be immolated upon them.
40 ੪੦ ਬਾਹਰ ਵੱਲ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੇ ਲਾਂਘੇ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੋ ਮੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਦੋ ਮੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਨ।
And at the outer side, which ascends to the door of the gate that goes toward the north, there were two tables. And at the other side, before the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables.
Four tables were on one side, and four tables were on the other side; along the sides of the gate, there were eight tables, upon which they immolated.
42 ੪੨ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਘੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਾਰ ਮੇਜ਼ਾਂ ਸਨ, ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਡੇਢ ਹੱਥ ਲੰਮੀਆਂ, ਡੇਢ ਹੱਥ ਚੌੜੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਚੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੋਮ ਦੀ ਭੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਰੱਖੇ ਸਨ।
Now the four tables for the holocausts were constructed of square stones: one and a half cubit in length, and one and a half cubits in width, and one cubit in height. Upon these, they placed the vessels, in which the holocaust and the victim were immolated.
And their edges were one palm in width, turned inward all around. And the flesh of the oblation was on the tables.
44 ੪੪ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਅੰਦਰਲੇ ਵੇਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਉੱਤਰੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ, ਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੋਠੜੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਪੂਰਬੀ ਫਾਟਕ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਸੀ।
And outside the interior gate, there were storerooms for the cantors, in the inner court, which was beside the gate that looks toward the north. And their face was opposite the way to the south; one was beside the east gate, which looked toward the way of the north.
45 ੪੫ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਦੱਖਣ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
And he said to me: “This is the storeroom that looks toward the south; it shall be for the priests who keep watch for the protection of the temple.
46 ੪੬ ਉਹ ਕੋਠੜੀ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਉਤਰ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਾਦੋਕ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਲੇਵੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
Moreover, the storeroom that looks toward the north will be for the priests who keep watch over the ministry of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those among the sons of Levi who may draw near to the Lord, so that they may minister to him.”
And he measured the court to be one hundred cubits in length, and one hundred cubits in width, with four equal sides. And the altar was before the face of the temple.
48 ੪੮ ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭਵਨ ਦੀ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਣਿਆ, ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਇੱਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਟਕ ਦੀ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਤਿੰਨ ਹੱਥ ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਹੱਥ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੇ।
And he led me into the vestibule of the temple. And he measured the vestibule to be five cubits on one side, and five cubits on the other side. And the width of the gate was three cubits on one side, and three cubits on the other side.
49 ੪੯ ਡਿਉੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਵੀਹ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਚੌੜਾਈ ਬਾਰਾਂ ਹੱਥ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਪੌੜੀ ਦੇ ਡੰਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਥੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਪੀਲ ਪਾਏ ਸਨ, ਇੱਕ ਇਸ ਪਾਸੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਉਸ ਪਾਸੇ।
Now the length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the width was eleven cubits, and there were eight steps to ascend to it. And there were pillars at the front, one on this side and another on that side.
