2 ਕੁਰਿੰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 8
1 ੧ ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮਕਦੂਨਿਯਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।
And, brothers, we declare to you the grace of God that has been given in the congregations of Macedonia,
2 ੨ ਜੋ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪਰਤਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤਾਇਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਰੀ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਅੱਤ ਵੱਡੀ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy, even from the depth of their poverty, abounded for the wealth of their generosity,
3 ੩ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
so that according to their ability, I testify, and beyond their ability, willingly,
4 ੪ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਮਿੰਨਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਇਹ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੀ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਪੁੰਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
with much exhortation, begging of us the favor, even the fellowship of service for the sanctified.
5 ੫ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਸ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਅਰਪਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
And it was not as we expected, but first they gave themselves to the Lord and to us through the will of God,
6 ੬ ਐਥੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੀਤੁਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਭਈ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਪੁੰਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰੇ ਵੀ ਚਾੜ੍ਹੇ।
for us to urge Titus that, as he earlier began this kindness, so he would even finish it for you also.
7 ੭ ਪਰ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ, ਬਚਨ, ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਪਿਆਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ ਵੱਧ ਗਏ ਹੋ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪੁੰਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਜਾਓ।
But as ye abound in everything, in faith, and word, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in your love to us, so that ye may also abound in this kindness.
I speak not from commandment, but because of the zeal of others, also examining the genuineness of your love.
9 ੯ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਧਨੀ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਗਰੀਬ ਬਣਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗਰੀਬੀ ਤੋਂ ਧਨੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ।
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that although he was rich he became poor for your sakes, so that by that man's poverty ye might become rich.
10 ੧੦ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਲਾਹ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਇਹੋ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਰਾ ਇਹ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਸੀ।
And in this I give judgment, for this is expedient for you who earlier began, from a year ago, not only the doing but also the intending.
11 ੧੧ ਸੋ ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਕੰਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੇ ਵੀ ਚਾੜ੍ਹੋ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਇੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਸੀ ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਧੇ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨਾ ਵੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
And now also finish the doing, so that just as was the willingness of the intending, so also to finish from the having.
12 ੧੨ ਜੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੈ, ਪਰਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
For if the willingness is present, it is acceptable to the extent if some man has, not to the extent he does not have.
For it is not so that ease is for others and stress for you, but out of parity your abundance at the present time is for the need of those men.
14 ੧੪ ਸਗੋਂ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਹੋਵੇ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਵਾਰ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਾਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਾਧਾ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਘਾਟੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਰਹੇ।
So that the abundance of those men may also happen for your need, so that there may become equity,
15 ੧੫ ਜਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ - ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਵੱਧ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਵੱਧ ਨਾ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਘੱਟ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਘੱਟ ਨਾ ਨਿੱਕਲਿਆ।
as it is written, he of much did not abound, and he of little did not lack.
But thanks to God who gives the same eagerness for you in the heart of Titus.
Because he indeed accepted the exhortation, but his own will being more zealous, he went forth to you.
18 ੧੮ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮਾਣ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
And we sent along with him the brother whose praise in the good news is throughout all the congregations.
19 ੧੯ ਪਰ ਕੇਵਲ ਇਹੋ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਥਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਪੁੰਨ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ, ਨਾਲੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਮਨ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਵੇ।
And not only so, but who was also chosen by the congregations, a traveling companion of us with this gift administered by us, for the glory of the same Lord and our willingness.
20 ੨੦ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਵੱਡੀ ਦਾਤ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਨਾ ਲਾਵੇ।
Arranging this lest any man may criticize us in this bounty administered by us,
21 ੨੧ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੇਵਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਵੀ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
providing things right, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
22 ੨੨ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਉਸ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਪਰਖ ਕੇ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਉਸ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਦਮੀ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਹੈ।
And we sent along with them our brother whom we often proved being diligent in many things, but is now much more diligent (with much confidence toward you)
23 ੨੩ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਤੀਤੁਸ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਹਿਕਰਮੀ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਹਨ।
whether on behalf of Titus my partner and co-workman for you, or our brothers, apostles of congregations, a glory of Christ.
24 ੨੪ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਦਿਉ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਮਾਣ ਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
Therefore show ye the proof of your love and our boast about you, for them in the face of the congregations.
