2 ਕੁਰਿੰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 11
O that ye tolerated a little of my foolishness, but tolerate me too.
2 ੨ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਣਖ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਰਗੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਵਿਆਹ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਹੀ ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਕੁਆਰੀ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਲਈ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਾਂ।
For I am jealous for you with a jealousy of God. For I betrothed you to one husband, a pure virgin to present to the Christ.
3 ੩ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੱਪ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਭਰਮਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਦਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਮਾਇਆ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮਨ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਸਾਦਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰਤਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਜੋ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੀ ਵੱਲ ਹੈ, ਵਿਗੜ ਜਾਣ।
But I fear lest somehow, as the serpent enticed Eve by his craftiness, so your thoughts might be corrupted from the simplicity in the Christ.
4 ੪ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਮਨਾਦੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਬੂਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਿਣ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ!
For indeed if a man who comes, preaches another Jesus whom we did not preach, or ye receive another spirit that ye did not receive, or another good news that ye did not accept, ye well tolerated it.
For I reckon to come short in nothing of those, superlative apostles.
6 ੬ ਪਰ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੰਗਾ ਨਾ ਵੀ ਹੋਵਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ।
But even if I am unskilled in speech, yet not in knowledge, but in everything made known in all things to you.
7 ੭ ਅਥਵਾ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਸੁਣਾ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨੀਵਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਓ, ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ?
Or did I commit a sin lowering myself so that ye might be lifted up, because I preached to you the good news of God freely?
I robbed other congregations, having taken a wage in order for your service.
9 ੯ ਅਤੇ ਜਦ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਪਈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਾਰ ਨਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਕਦੂਨਿਯਾ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਕੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਾਰ ਪਾਉਣ ਰੁਕਿਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਕਿਆ ਹੀ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ।
And being present with you, and when needy, I was a burden to no man. For the brothers who came from Macedonia, they supplied my need. And in everything I kept and I will keep myself non-burdensome to you.
The truth of Christ is in me that this pride in me will not be stopped in the regions of Achaia.
Why? Because I do not love you? God knows.
12 ੧੨ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਮੌਕਾ ਲੱਭਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਝਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਮਾਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਡੇ ਵਰਗੇ ਠਹਿਰਨ।
But what I do, I also will do, so that I may cut off the opportunity of those who desire an opportunity, that in what they boast, they might appear just as we also.
13 ੧੩ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹੇ ਲੋਕ ਝੂਠੇ ਰਸੂਲ ਅਤੇ ਛਲ ਵਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves into apostles of Christ.
And no marvel, for even Satan disguises himself into an agent of light.
15 ੧੫ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੱਡੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Therefore, it is no great thing if his helpers also disguise themselves as helpers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.
16 ੧੬ ਮੈਂ ਫਿਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖ ਨਾ ਸਮਝੇ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮੂਰਖ ਹੀ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਮਾਣ ਕਰਾਂ।
I say again, let not any man think me to be foolish, but if otherwise-even if as foolish-accept me, so that I also may boast some a little.
17 ੧੭ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਇਸ ਮਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਭਰੋਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਰ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
What I speak, I speak not according to the Lord, but as in foolishness, in this confidence of the boast.
Since many boast according to the flesh, I too will boast.
For being wise, ye gladly tolerate the foolish.
20 ੨੦ ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਖਾਲੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਬੰਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਦ ਕੋਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਪੇੜਾਂ ਮਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਹਾਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹੋ।
For ye tolerate it if some man enslaves you, if some man devours you, if some man seizes you, if some man lifts himself up, if some man strikes you on the face.
21 ੨੧ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਰਾਦਰੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਮਾੜੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਜਿਸ ਗੱਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਦਲੇਰ ਹੈ (ਮੈਂ ਮੂਰਖਤਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ) ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਦਲੇਰ ਹਾਂ।
I speak as from shame, that we were so weak. Yet in whatever any man may be bold in foolishness, I say I too am bold.
22 ੨੨ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਇਬਰਾਨੀ ਹਨ? ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਹਾਂ। ਕੀ ਉਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀ ਹਨ? ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਹਾਂ। ਕੀ ਉਹ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ ਹਨ? ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਹਾਂ।
Are they Hebrews? I too. Are they Israelites? I too. Are they a seed of Abraham? I too.
23 ੨੩ ਕੀ ਉਹ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਦਾਸ ਹਨ? ਮੈਂ ਬੇਸੁੱਧ ਵਾਂਗੂੰ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੀਕ ਹਾਂ, ਅਰਥਾਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਹਾਂ, ਕੈਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧੀਕ, ਮਾਰ ਖਾਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੱਦੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ, ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਕੇ ਹਾਂ।
Are they helpers of Christ? (I speak as being mad) I more: in toils, more abundantly; in stripes, countless; in prisons, more frequently; in deaths often.
From the Jews five times I received forty save one.
25 ੨੫ ਮੈਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਬੈਂਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਖਾਧੀ, ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਪਥਰਾਉ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਬੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਟੁੱਟਣ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਦੁੱਖ ਭੋਗਿਆ, ਇੱਕ ਰਾਤ-ਦਿਨ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੱਟਿਆ।
Thrice I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, thrice I was shipwrecked, I have done a night and a day in the depth,
26 ੨੬ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਾਰ ਯਾਤਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਦਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਡਾਕੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਆਪਣੀ ਕੌਮ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪਰਾਈਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਜਾੜ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਖੋਟੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੋਖਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ,
in frequent journeys, in perils of flowing waters, in perils of bandits, in perils from my race, in perils from Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils at sea, in perils among false brothers,
27 ੨੭ ਮੈਂ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਭੁੱਖ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਆਸ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਈ ਵਾਰੀ ਵਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ, ਸਰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੰਗੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆ ਹਾਂ।
in toil and hardship, in frequent sleeplessness, in hunger and thirst, in frequent fasts, in cold and nakedness.
Besides the external things, crowding upon me daily is the care of all the congregations.
Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I am not made fiery?
If it is necessary to boast, I will boast of the things of my weakness.
31 ੩੧ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਦਾ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੈ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਝੂਠ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਦਾ। (aiōn g165)
The God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, he who is blessed into the ages, knows that I do not lie. (aiōn g165)
32 ੩੨ ਦੰਮਿਸ਼ਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਅਰਿਤਾਸ ਦੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦੀ ਦੰਮਿਸ਼ਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਫੜਨ ਲਈ ਪਹਿਰਾ ਲਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
