1 ਯੂਹੰਨਾ 5
1 ੧ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਮਸੀਹ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਜਨਮ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੈ।
Everyone who is believing that Jesus is the Christ of God has been born, and everyone who is loving the [One] having begotten [Him] loves also the [one] begotten from Him.
2 ੨ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
By this we know that we love the children of God, when God we may love and the commandments of Him (we may perform. *N+kO)
This for is the love of God, that the commandments of Him we may keep; and the commandments of Him burdensome not are.
4 ੪ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਹਰੇਕ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪਾਈ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਸਾਡਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ।
For everyone who born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory which having overcome the world: the faith of us.
5 ੫ ਅਤੇ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ?
who (now *no) is the [one] overcoming the world only except the [one] believing that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 ੬ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ। ਕੇਵਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਤੋਂ ਆਇਆ।
This is the [One] having come through water and blood, Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and (by *no) blood; And the Spirit is the [One] testifying, because the Spirit is the truth;
For three there are those bearing testimony: (in the heaven the Father the Word and the Holy Spirit and these three one are *K)
(and three are those bearing testimony in the earth: *K) the Spirit and the water and the blood — and these three in one are.
9 ੯ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਮੰਨ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਉਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
If the testimony of men we receive, the testimony of God greater is, For this is the testimony of God (that *N+kO) He has testified concerning the Son of Him.
10 ੧੦ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਝੂਠਾ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।
The [one] believing in the Son of God has the testimony in (himself; *NK+o) The [one] not believing in God a liar has made Him, because not he has believed in the testimony that has testified God concerning the Son Him.
11 ੧੧ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। (aiōnios g166)
And this is the testimony that life eternal has given to us God; and this the life in the Son of Him is. (aiōnios g166)
12 ੧੨ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
The [one] having the Son has life; the [one] not having the Son of God life not has.
13 ੧੩ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋ ਜੋ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। (aiōnios g166)
These things have I written to you (to those believing into the name of the Son of God *K) so that you may know that life you have eternal (and so that *K) (to those *no) (believing *N+kO) in the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios g166)
14 ੧੪ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਜੋ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦਲੇਰੀ ਹੈ ਸੋ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਾਂ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if anything we shall ask according to the will of Him He hears us;
15 ੧੫ ਅਤੇ ਜੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਵਸਤਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
And if we know that He hears us whatever (maybe *N+kO) we shall ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked (from *N+kO) Him.
16 ੧੬ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਵੇਖੇ ਜੋ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੰਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਹ ਨੂੰ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਪਾਪ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ। ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਪ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਦੇ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰੇ।
If anyone shall see the brother of him sinning a sin not unto death, he will ask and He will give to him life, to those sinning not unto death. There is a sin unto death; not concerning that [one] do I say that he may implore.
All unrighteousness sin is, and there is sin not unto death.
18 ੧੮ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਕੋਈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਹੈ, ਸੋ ਪਾਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਜੰਮਿਆ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰਖਵਾਲੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਲਾਉਂਦਾ।
We know that everyone who born of God not continues to sin; but the [One] having been begotten of God protects (himself, *NK+o) and the evil [one] not does touch him.
We know that of God we are and the world whole in the evil [one] lies.
20 ੨੦ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਸੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਸੱਚੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਮਸੀਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ। ਸੱਚਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਪਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਇਹੋ ਹੈ। (aiōnios g166)
We know now that the Son of God is come and has given us understanding so that (we may know *NK+o) Him who [is] true, and we are in Him who [is] true, in the Son of Him Jesus Christ. He is the true God and life eternal. (aiōnios g166)
Little children, do keep (yourselves *N+kO) from idols (Amen. *KO)
