1 ਕੁਰਿੰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ 15
1 ੧ ਹੁਣ ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਈ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕਬੂਲ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਫੜੀ ਵੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।
BUT I make known to you, my brethren, the gospel which I have announced to you, and you have received, and in which you stand,
2 ੨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਚਾਏ ਵੀ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹੋ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਖੁਸ਼ਖਬਰੀ ਦੇ ਬਚਨ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਫੜ੍ਹੀ ਰੱਖੋ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਗਿਆ।
and by which you are saved; of which, the word I have preached to you, you are mindful, unless you have vainly believed.
3 ੩ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੌਂਪ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ ਜੋ ਮਸੀਹ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਗ੍ਰੰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਾਡੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਮਰਿਆ।
For I delivered to you from the first, according as I had received: That the Meshiha died for our sins, as it is written;
and that he was buried, and arose the third day, as it is written.
And he was seen of Kipha, and after him, of the twelve,
6 ੬ ਅਤੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਪੰਜ ਸੌ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕੋ ਵਾਰੀ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਅਜੇ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਕਈ ਸੌ ਗਏ।
and after them, he was seen of more than five hundred brethren together, many of whom survive till now, and some of them have slept.
And afterward he was seen of Jakub, and after him of all the apostles:
but last of them all, as of an abortion, he was seen also of me.
9 ੯ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਰਸੂਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਛੋਟਾ ਹਾਂ, ਰਸੂਲ ਸਦਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਲੀਸਿਯਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
I am the least of the apostles, and am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of Aloha:
10 ੧੦ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੋਈ, ਸੋ ਅਕਾਰਥ ਨਾ ਹੋਈ ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵਧੀਕ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।
but by the grace of Aloha I am what I am; and his grace in me was not in vain; but more than all have I laboured, (yet) not I, but his grace which is with me.
Whether I then, or they, so we have proclaimed, and so have you believed.
12 ੧੨ ਹੁਣ ਜੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਹੈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ।
But if the Meshiha is proclaimed that he rose from the dead, how are there among you some who say that there is no life for the dead?
And if there be no life for the dead, (then) neither hath the Meshiha risen.
And if the Meshiha hath not risen, vain is our proclamation, and vain also your faith.
15 ੧੫ ਨਾਲੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਝੂਠੇ ਗਵਾਹ ਠਹਿਰੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਅਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਾਖੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਦੇ।
But we are also found false witnesses of Aloha; for we have testified of Aloha that he hath raised the Meshiha, while he hath not raised (him).
For if the dead rise not, Meshiha also hath not risen
and if Meshiha hath not risen, your faith is made void and you are still in your sins.
And already have they too who have slept in Meshiha perished.
And if in this life only we hope in the Meshiha, more miserable are we than all men.
BUT now hath the Meshiha risen from among the dead, and become the first-fruits of those who sleep.
And as by man was death, so also by man is the life of the dead.
For as in Adam all men die, so also in the Meshiha are all made alive:
every one in his order: the first-fruits was the Meshiha; afterward they who are of the Meshiha at his coming.
24 ੨੪ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਅੰਤ ਹੈ। ਤਦ ਉਹ ਰਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥ ਸੌਂਪ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਹਕੂਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਹਰੇਕ ਇਖ਼ਤਿਆਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
And then will be the end, when he delivereth the kingdom unto Aloha the Father; when he abolisheth every head, and all authority and all powers.
For it is to be that he shall reign until he hath set all his adversaries beneath his feet,
and the last enemy be abolished, (which is) death.
27 ੨੭ “ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਹੇਠ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ”। ਪਰ ਜਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੇਠ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਹੇਠ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਉਹ ਆਪ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ ਹੈ।
For every thing he subjecteth beneath his feet. But when he saith that every thing is subjected to him, it is evident that (it is) with the exception of him who hath subjected to him all.
28 ੨੮ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਂ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਆਪ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜੋ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਵੇ।
And when all shall have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will be subjected to him who had made subject to him all, that Aloha may be all in all.
29 ੨੯ ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ? ਜੇ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਮੂਲੋਂ ਜੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਕਿਉਂ ਬਪਤਿਸਮਾ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ?
Else what shall they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead arise not? Why are they baptized for the dead?
And why also every hour are we standing in peril?
31 ੩੧ ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਘਮੰਡ ਮੈਂ ਮਸੀਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਸਾਡੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਸਹੁੰ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਮਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
I asseverate, by your glorying, my brethren, which is mine in our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, that daily I die!
32 ੩੨ ਜੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਅਫ਼ਸੁਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੁਰਿਆਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਲਾਭ ਹੈ? ਜੇ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਆਓ ਅਸੀਂ ਖਾਈਏ ਪੀਵੀਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਕੱਲ ਤਾਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਮਰਨਾ ਹੈ
If as among men I have been thrown to beasts at Ephesus, what have I profited if the dead do not arise? Let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.
Mistake not; for Evil narrations corrupt well-disposed minds.
34 ੩੪ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕਤਾ ਲਈ ਸਮਝ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਕਈਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਲਈ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
AWAKEN your hearts rightly, and sin not; for there are some who have not the knowledge of Aloha; to your shame I say it.
Some one of you will say, How arise the dead, and with what body come they?
Fool, the seed which thou sowest, unless it die, lives not:
37 ੩੭ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੂੰ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੂੰ ਉਹ ਰੂਪ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੀਜਦਾ ਜੋ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਪਰ ਨਿਰਾ ਇੱਕ ਦਾਣਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕਣਕ ਦਾ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਾ।
and that thing which thou sowest is not the body that is to be, but thou sowest naked grain, of wheat, or of barley, or of the rest of seeds;
but Aloha giveth it a body as he willeth, and to each of the seeds a body of its own nature.
39 ੩੯ ਸਭ ਮਾਸ ਇੱਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਮਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਮਨੁੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਹੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਛੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਾਸ ਹੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ।
For every body is not alike: for there is one body of man, and another of the beast, and another of the fowl, and another of fishes.
There are heavenly bodies, and there are earthly bodies; but one is the glory of the heavenly, and another of the earthly.
41 ੪੧ ਸੂਰਜ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦਰਮਾ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਹੋਰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਕਰਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਤਾਰਾ ਦੂਏ ਤਾਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਭਿੰਨ ਹੈ।
There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; and star excelleth star in glory.
So also is the life of the dead. They are sown in corruption, they arise without corruption.
43 ੪੩ ਉਹ ਬੇਪਤ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਨਿਰਬਲ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ।
They are sown in baseness, they arise in glory. They are sown in weakness, they arise in power.
44 ੪੪ ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਬੀਜਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਉੱਠਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਆਤਮਿਕ ਸਰੀਰ ਵੀ ਹੈ।
It is sown an animal body, it ariseth a body spiritual. For there is a body of the animal, and there is a body of the spirit;
45 ੪੫ ਇਉਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਆਦਮ ਜੀਉਂਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਣੀ ਹੋਇਆ, ਬਾਅਦ ਵਾਲਾ ਆਦਮ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾਤਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
as also it is written, Adam the first man became a living soul, and the last Adam a life-giving spirit.
But the spiritual was not first, but the animal; and then the spiritual.
The first man who is of the earth is dust, the second man the Lord from heaven.
48 ੪੮ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਸੀ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਸਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਹਨ।
As was he who was dust, so also are they who are dust: as is he who is from heaven, so also are the heavenly ones.
And as we have worn the likeness of him who was dust, so shall we wear the likeness of him who is from heaven.
50 ੫੦ ਹੁਣ ਹੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਮਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਲਹੂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ, ਨਾ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਅਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
But this I say, my brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of heaven; nor doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Behold, I tell you the mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we all shall be changed:
52 ੫੨ ਪਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਲ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਖ ਦੀ ਝਮਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਰੀ ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਫੂਕਦਿਆਂ ਸਾਰ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗੇ। ਤੁਰ੍ਹੀ ਫੂਕੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਰਦੇ ਅਵਿਨਾਸ਼ੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਬਦਲ ਜਾਂਵਾਂਗੇ।
suddenly, as in the twinkling of the eye, at the last trumpet, while it calleth; and the dead will arise without corruption, and we shall be changed.
For this which is corruptible shall put on incorruption, and likewise (this) which dieth shall put on immortality.
54 ੫੪ ਪਰ ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਨਾਸਵਾਨ ਅਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਮਰਨਹਾਰ ਅਮਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਲਿਖੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ, ਮੌਤ ਫਤਹ ਦੀ ਬੁਰਕੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ।
But when this which is corruptible shall put on incorruptibleness, and this which dieth, immortality, then shall be done that word which is written, Death is swallowed up in victory!
Where is thy sting, Death? and where is thy victory Shiul? (Hadēs g86)
But the sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to Aloha, who giveth us the victory by the hand of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha.
58 ੫੮ ਸੋ ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਭਰਾਵੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਥਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਡੋਲ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਦਾ ਵੱਧਦੇ ਜਾਓ ਕਿਉਂ ਜੋ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
Wherefore, my brethren, my beloved, be steadfast, be not moved, but be abounding in all time in the work of the Lord, while you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
