Lukas 15
1 Alle tollmenner og syndarar heldt seg nær innåt Jesus og lydde på honom.
Were now to Him drawing near all the tax collectors and the sinners to hear Him.
2 Men farisæarane og dei skriftlærde murra og sagde seg imillom: «Den mannen tek imot syndarar, og et i lag med deim!»
And were grumbling the (both *no) Pharisees and the scribes saying that This [man] sinners receives and he eats with them.
3 Då sagde han deim denne likningi:
He spoke then to them parable this saying;
4 Um ein av dykk hev hundrad sauer og misser ein av deim, let han’kje då dei ni og nitti vera att i beitemarki, og gjeng av og leitar etter den han hev mist, til han finn honom?
What man of you having a hundred sheep and (having lost *NK+o) of them one not leaves the ninety nine in the open field and goes after the [one] having been lost until he may find it?
5 Og når han hev funne honom, er han glad og tek honom på herdarne sine;
And having found [it] he lays [it] on the shoulders (of him *N+kO) rejoicing,
6 og med same han kjem heim, kallar han i hop vener og grannar, og segjer til deim: «Gled dykk med meg! Eg hev funne sauen eg hadde mist.
And having come to the house he calls together the friends and the neighbours saying to them; do rejoice with me, for I have found the sheep of mine the [one] having been lost!
7 Eg segjer dykk: Soleis er det gleda i himmelen yver ein syndar som vender um, meir enn yver ni og nitti rettferdige som ikkje treng umvending.
I say to you that in the same way joy in heaven there will be over one sinner repenting rather than over ninety nine righteous ones who no need have of repentance.
8 Eller um ei kvinna hev ti sylvpeningar, og misser ein av deim, kveikjer ho’kje då ljos og sopar huset og leitar trottugt, til dess ho finn honom?
Or what woman drachmas having ten, if she may lose drachma one, surely she lights a lamp and she sweeps the house and she seeks carefully until (it *N+kO) she may find?
9 Og når ho hev funne honom, kallar ho i hop vener og grannkonor og segjer: «Gled dykk med meg! Eg hev funne peningen eg hadde mist.»
And having found [it] (she calls together *N+kO) the friends and neighbours saying; do rejoice with me, for I have found the drachma that I lost.
10 Soleis, segjer eg dykk, vert det gleda på Guds englar yver ein syndar som vender um.»
Thus I say to you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner repenting.
11 So sagde han: «Det var ein gong ein mann som hadde tvo søner.
He said then; A man certain had two sons.
12 Den yngste av deim sagde til faren: «Far, lat meg få den luten av buet som fell på meg!» So skifte han midelen millom deim.
And said the younger of them to the father; Father, do give to me what is due [to me] portion of the property. (then *N+kO) he divided between them the property.
13 Det var’kje mange dagarne lidne, so samla den yngste sonen alt sitt og for langt burt til eit anna land. Der gav han seg i ulivnad, og øydde upp det han åtte.
And after not many days having gathered together (all [things] *N+kO) the younger son went away into a country distant and there he wasted the estate of him living prodigally.
14 Då han hadde sett til alt, vart det uår og svolt der i landet, og han tok til å lida naud.
When was spending however he everything there arose a famine (severe *N+kO) throughout the country that, and he himself began to be in need.
15 So tydde han seg til ein av mennerne i landet, og han sende honom ut på markerne sine; der skulde han gjæta svin.
And having gone he joined himself to one of the citizens the country of that, and he sent him into the fields of him to feed pigs.
16 Og han var huga til å fylla buken sin med skolmerne som svini åt av, og ingen gav honom noko.
And he was longing (to be fed *N+kO) (the *ko) (stomach of him *KO) (from *N+kO) the pods that were eating the pigs, and no [one] was giving to him.
17 Då gjekk han i seg sjølv og sagde: «Kor mange leigekarar heime hjå far min hev ikkje fullt upp av mat, med eg held på å svelta i hel her!
To himself however having come (he was saying; *N+kO) How many hired servants of the father of mine (have abundance *N+kO) of bread, I myself however with hunger (here *NO) am perishing!
18 Eg vil taka i veg og ganga heim til far min og segja til honom: «Far, eg hev synda mot himmelen og mot deg!
Having risen up I will go to the father of mine and I will say to him; Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you;
19 Eg er’kje verd å kallast son din lenger; lat meg få vera som ein av leigekararne dine!»»
(and *k) no longer no longer am I worthy to be called son of you. do make me like one of the servants of you.
20 So tok han i vegen og gjekk heim til far sin. Med han endå var langt burte, vart far hans var honom, og ynkast inderleg; han sprang imot honom og kasta seg um halsen på honom og kysste honom.
And having risen up he went to the father (of himself *NK+o) Still now he far being distant he saw him the father of him and was moved with compassion, and having run he fell upon the neck of him and he kissed him.
21 Og sonen sagde: «Far, eg hev synda mot himmelen og mot deg; eg er ikkje verd å kallast son din lenger!»
Said then the son to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; (and *k) no longer no longer am I worthy to be called son of you (do make me as one of the servants of you. *O)
22 Men faren sagde til tenararne sine: «Kom snøgt med ein klædning, den gildaste her er, og hav på honom, og lat han få ring på fingeren og skor på føterne!
Said then the father to the servants of him; (Quickly *NO) do bring out robe the best and do clothe him and do give a ring for the hand of him and sandals for [his] feet,
23 Henta so den gjødde kalven, og slagta honom, so vil me halda måltid og vera glade!
and (do bring *N+kO) the calf fattened, do kill [it], and having eaten let us be merry,
24 For denne sonen min var daud og hev livna upp att, var burtkomen og er attfunnen.» So tok dei til å halda gaman.
For this the son of mine dead was and is alive again, (and *k) he was having been lost and is found. And they began to be merry.
25 Den eldste sonen var utpå marki. Då han gjekk heimetter og kom burtimot huset, høyrde han spel og dans.
Was now the son of him the elder in [the] field. and while coming [up] he drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing.
26 Han ropa på ein av drengjerne, og spurde kva det skulde tyda.
And having called near one of the servants (of him *k) he was inquiring what (maybe *no) would be these things.
27 «Bror din er komen, » svara drengen, «og far din hev slagta den gjødde kalven, for di han fekk honom frisk heim att.
And he said to him that The brother of you is come, and has killed the father of you the calf fattened, because in good health him he has received.
28 Då vart han harm og vilde ikkje ganga inn. Far hans kom ut og tala blidt til honom;
He was angry however and not he was willing to go in. (And *N+KO) the father of him having gone he was begging him.
29 men han svara far sin so: «No hev eg tent deg so mange år og aldri gjort imot ditt ord, og meg hev du aldri gjeve so mykje som eit kid, so eg kunde gleda meg i hop med venerne mine.
And answering he said to the [the] father of him; Behold so many years I serve you and never a commandment of you I disobeyed, and to me myself never did you give a young goat that with the friends of mine I may make merry.
30 Men når han kjem denne son din, som hev ete upp midelen din i lag med skjøkjor, då slagtar du gjødkalven åt honom.»
When however the son of you this the [one] having devoured your living with prostitutes came, you have killed for him the fattened calf.
31 «Du er allstødt hjå meg, barnet mitt, » svara faren, «og alt som mitt er, er ditt.»
And he said to him; Son, you yourself always with me are, and all that [is] mine yours is.
32 Men no skulde me vera glade og fegne; for denne bror din var daud og hev livna, var burtkomen og er attfunnen!»»
To make merry however and to rejoice it was fitting, because the brother of you this dead was and (is alive, *N+KO) and having been lost (was *k) and is found.
