Johannes 21
1 Sidan openberra Jesus seg endå ein gong for læresveinarne ved Tiberiassjøen. Med det gjekk det soleis til:
After that Iesus shewed him selfe agayne at the see of Tyberias. And on this wyse shewed he him selfe.
2 Simon Peter og Tomas - han som me kallar Didymus - og Natanael - han frå Kana i Galilæa - og Sebedæus-sønerne og tvo andre av læresveinarne var der i hop.
There were to geder Simon Peter and Thomas which is called Didymus: and Nathanael of Cana a citie of Galile and the sonnes of Zebedei and two other of the disciples.
3 Då segjer Simon Peter til deim: «Eg gjeng’stad å fiska.» «Me vil og med, » segjer dei. So tok dei ut og steig i båten; men den natti fekk dei’kje noko.
Simon Peter sayde vnto them: I goo a fysshynge. They sayde vnto him: we also will goo with the. They wet their waye and entred into a shippe strayght waye and that nyght caught they nothinge.
4 I det bilet det tok til å dagast, stod Jesus med ein gong på strandi; men læresveinarne visste ikkje at det var han.
But when the mornynge was now come Iesus stode on the shore: neverthelesse the disciples knewe not yt it was Iesus.
5 Jesus segjer til deim: «De hev vel ikkje noko å eta, born?» «Nei, » svara dei.
Iesus sayde vnto the: syrs have ye eny meate? They answered him no.
6 «Kasta garnet på høgre sida av båten, so fær de fisk, » sagde han. Dei so gjorde, og då var dei ikkje god til å draga garnet, so mykje fisk var der i det.
And he sayde vnto them: cast out ye net on the ryght syde of the ship and ye shall fynde. They cast out and anone they were not able to drawe it for ye multitude of fysshes
7 Då segjer den læresveinen som Jesus elska, til Peter: «Det er Herren!» Med det same Simon Peter fekk høyra at det var Herren, tok han kjolen sin på seg - for han hadde lagt honom av - og kasta seg i sjøen.
Then sayde the disciple whom Iesus loved vnto Peter: It is the Lorde. When Simon Peter hearde that it was ye lorde he gyrde his mantell to him (for he was naked) and sprange into the see
8 Og dei andre læresveinarne kom med båten, og slæpte garnet med fiskarne etter seg; for dei var ikkje langt ifrå land, berre tvo hundrad alner på lag.
The other disciples came by ship: for they were not farre from londe but as it were two hondred cubites and they drewe the net with fysshes.
9 Då dei steig i land, ser dei ein glohaug som ligg der med fisk på og brød.
Assone as they were come to londe they sawe hoot coles and fysshe layd ther on and breed.
10 «Kom hit med noko av den fisken de fekk!» segjer Jesus.
Iesus sayde vnto them: bringe of the fysshe which ye have now caught.
11 Då steig Simon Peter ut i båten og drog garnet på land; det var fullt av store fiskar, hundrad og tri og femti; men endå det var so mange, gjekk ikkje garnet sund.
Simon Peter stepped forthe and drewe the net to londe full of greate fysshes an hondred and. liii. And for all ther were so many yet was not the net broken.
12 «Kom hit og få dykk ein morgonbite!» segjer Jesus. Ingen av læresveinarne våga å spyrja honom: «Kven er du?» dei visste at det var Herren.
Iesus sayde vnto them: come and dyne. And none of the disciples durste axe him: what arte thou? For they knewe that it was the lorde.
13 Då kom Jesus, og tok brødet og gav deim, og like eins fisken.
Iesus then came and toke breed and gave them and fysshe lykwyse
14 Dette var no tridje gongen Jesus openberra seg for læresveinarne etter at han hadde stade upp frå dei daude.
And this is now the thyrde tyme that Iesus appered to his disciples after that he was rysen agayne from deeth.
15 Som dei no hadde ete morgonverden, segjer Jesus til Simon Peter: «Simon Johannesson, elskar du meg meir enn desse?» «Ja, Herre, » svarar han; «du veit at eg held av deg.» «Fød lambi mine!» segjer Jesus.
When they had dyned Iesus sayde to Simon Peter: Simon Ioana lovest thou me more then these? He sayde vnto him: ye Lorde thou knowest that I love the. He sayde vnto him: fede my lambes.
16 So segjer han til honom att, andre gongen: «Simon Johannesson, elskar du meg?» Han svarar: «Ja, Herre, du veit eg held av deg.» «Gjæt sauerne mine» segjer Jesus.
He sayde to him agayne the seconde tyme: Simo Ioana lovest thou me? He sayde vnto him: ye lorde thou knowest that I love ye. He sayde vnto him: fede my shepe.
17 So segjer han til honom tridje gongen: «Simon Johannesson, held du av meg?» Peter tykte det leidt at han spurde honom tridje gongen: «Held du av meg?» Han svara: «Herre, du veit alt, du veit at eg held av deg.» Jesus segjer til han: «Fød sauerne mine!»
He sayde vnto him ye thyrde tyme: Simon Ioanna lovest thou me? And Peter sorowed because he sayde to him ye thyrde tyme lovest thou me and sayde vnto him: Lorde thou knowest all thinge thou knowest that I love the. Iesus sayde vnto him: fede my shepe.
18 «Det segjer eg deg for visst og sant: Då du var yngre, batt du sjølv livgjordi um deg og gjekk dit du vilde; men når du vert gamall, skal du retta ut henderne dine, og ein annan skal binda livgjordi um deg og føra deg dit du ikkje vil.»
Verely verely I saye vnto the when thou wast yonge thou gerdedst thy selfe and walkedst whyther thou woldest: but when thou arte olde thou shalt stretche forthe thy hondes and a nother shall gyrde ye and leade the whyther thou woldest not.
19 Det sagde han for å vitra um kvaslags daude han skulde koma til å æra Gud med. Då han hadde sagt det, segjer han til honom: «Fylg meg!»
That spake he signifyinge by what deeth he shuld glorify God. And whe he had sayde thus he sayd to him folowe me.
20 Då Peter snudde seg, ser han at den læresveinen som Jesus elska, fylgde med, han som hadde sete tett innmed honom då dei heldt nattverd, og spurt: «Herre, kven er den som svik deg?»
Peter turned about and sawe that disciple who Iesus loved folowynge: which also lened on his brest at supper and sayde: Lorde which is he yt shall betraye the?
21 Då Peter såg honom, segjer han til Jesus: «Herre, korleis skal det so ganga honom?»
When Peter sawe him he sayde to Iesus: Lorde what shall he here do?
22 Jesus svarar: «Um eg vil at han skal liva til eg kjem, kva hev so du med det? Fylg du meg!»
Iesus sayd vnto him Yf I will have him to tary tyll I come what is that to the? folowe thou me.
23 Soleis kom det ordet ut bland brørne: «Den læresveinen døyr ikkje.» Men Jesus sagde ikkje til honom at han ikkje skulde døy; det han sagde var: «Um eg vil at han skal liva til eg kjem, kva hev so du med det?»
Then went this sayinge a broode amonge the brethren that that disciple shulde not dye. Yet Iesus sayde not to him he shall not dye: but yf I will that he tary tyll I come what is that to the?
24 Det er den læresveinen som vitnar um desse ting og hev skrive dette, og me veit at vitnemålet hans er sant.
The same disciple is he which testifieth of these thinges and wrote these thinges. And we knowe that his testimony is true.
25 Det er endå mykje anna som Jesus hev gjort. Skulde det skrivast upp, kvar ting for seg, trur eg ikkje heile verdi vilde røma dei bøkerne som då laut skrivast.
There are also many other thinges which Iesus dyd: the which yf they shuld be written every won I suppose the worlde coulde not cotayne the bokes that shuld be written.
