यर्मिया 44
1 मिश्रदेश बसोबास गरेका, मिग्दोल, तहपनेस, नोप र माथिल्लो मिश्रमा बसिरहेका सबै यहूदीको विषयमा यो वचन यर्मियाकहाँ आयोः
[the] word which to be to(wards) Jeremiah to(wards) all [the] Jew [the] to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt [the] to dwell in/on/with Migdol and in/on/with Tahpanhes and in/on/with Memphis and in/on/with land: country/planet Pathros to/for to say
2 “सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘यरूशलेम र यहूदाका सबै सहरमाथि मैले ल्याएका विपत्तिहरू तिमीहरू आफैले देखेका छौ । हेर, आज ती भग्नावशेष भएका छन् । तिनमा बस्ने कोही छैन ।
thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel you(m. p.) to see: see [obj] all [the] distress: harm which to come (in): bring upon Jerusalem and upon all city Judah and look! they desolation [the] day: today [the] this and nothing in/on/with them to dwell
3 धुप बाल्न र अरू देवताहरूको पुजा गर्न गएर तिनीहरूले मलाई चोट पुर्याउनलाई गरेका तिनीहरूका दुष्ट कुराहरूले गर्दा यसो भएको हो । यी देवताहरूलाई न तिनीहरूले चिन्दथे, न तिमीहरू चिन्छौ, न त तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरूले चिन्दथे ।'

4 त्यसैले मैले बारम्बार मेरा दास अगमवक्ताहरूलाई तिनीहरूकहाँ पठाएँ । मैले तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्न पठाएँ, 'मैले घृणा गर्ने यी घिनलाग्दा कुराहरू गर्न छोड ।’
and to send: depart to(wards) you [obj] all servant/slave my [the] prophet to rise and to send: depart to/for to say not please to make: do [obj] word: because [the] abomination [the] this which to hate
5 तर तिनीहरूले सुनेनन् । अरू देवताहरूलाई धुप बाल्ने तिनीहरूको दुष्टताबाट ध्यान हटाउने वा फर्कने कुरालाई तिनीहरूले इन्कार गरे ।

6 त्यसैले यहूदाका सहरहरू र यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा मेरो रिस र क्रोध खन्याइयो, र आगो लगाइयो । ती उजाड र सर्वनाश भए, जस्तो आजको दिनसम्म छ ।'

7 त्यसैले अब परमप्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् परमेश्वर, इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'आफ्नै विरुद्धमा तिमीहरू किन ठुला-ठुला दुष्ट काम गर्दैछौ? यहूदाका पुरुषहरू, स्त्रीहरू, बालबालिका तथा दूधे बालकहरूबाट किन आफै बहिष्कृत हुँदैछौ? तिमीहरूका कोही पनि बाँकी छाडिनेछैनौ ।
and now thus to say LORD God Hosts God Israel to/for what? you(m. p.) to make distress: evil great: large to(wards) soul: myself your to/for to cut: eliminate to/for you man and woman infant and to suckle from midst Judah to/for lest to remain to/for you remnant
8 तिमीहरूका हातका कामहरूद्वारा, तिमीहरू बस्न गएका मिश्रदेशमा अरू देवताहरूलाई धुप बालेर तिमीहरूका हातले गरेका कामका दुष्टता तिमीहरूले मलाई चोट पुर्याएका छौ । तिमीहरू नष्ट गरिन र पृथ्वीका सबै जातिका बिचमा सराप र निन्दाको पात्र बन्न तिमीहरू त्यहाँ गएका छौ ।

9 तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरू अनि यहूदाका राजाहरू र तिनीहरूका पत्नीहरूले गरेका दुष्टतालाई के तिमीहरूले बिर्सेका छौ? यहूदा देशमा र यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा तिमीहरू आफै र तिमीहरूका पत्नीहरूले गरेका दुष्ट कामलाई के तिमीहरूले बिर्सेका छौ?
to forget [obj] distress: evil father your and [obj] distress: evil king Judah and [obj] distress: evil woman: wife his and [obj] distress: evil your and [obj] distress: evil woman: wife your which to make in/on/with land: country/planet Judah and in/on/with outside Jerusalem
10 आजको दिनसम्म पनि तिनीहरू नम्र भएका छैनन् । मैले तिनीहरू र तिनीहरूका पुर्खाहरूका सामु राखेको मेरा व्यवस्था वा विधानहरूलाई तिनीहरूले आदर गर्दैनन्, न त तिनीहरू तीअनुसार हिंड्छन् ।'

11 त्यसकारण सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'हेर, तिमीहरूमाथि विपत्ति ल्याउन र सारा यहूदालाई नष्ट गर्न मैले आफ्नो अनुहारलाई तिमीहरूबाट हटाउनै लागेको छु ।

12 किनकि मिश्रदेशमा बस्न जाने निधो गरेका यहूदाका बाँकी रहेकाहरूलाई म नष्ट पार्नेछु । तिनीहरू सबै मिश्रदेशमा नष्ट होऊन् भनेर म यसो गर्नेछु । तिनीहरू सबै तरवार र अनिकालले ढल्नेछन् । सानादेखि ठुलासम्म तिनीहरू तरवार र अनिकालले नष्ट हुनेछन् । तिनीहरू मर्नेछन्, अनि कसम, सराप, निन्दा र घृणाका पात्र बन्नेछन् ।

13 जसरी मैले यरूशलेमलाई तरवार, अनिकाल र विपत्तिले दण्ड दिएँ, त्यसै गरी मिश्रदेशमा बसेका मानिसहरूलाई दण्ड दिनेछु,
and to reckon: punish upon [the] to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt like/as as which to reckon: punish upon Jerusalem in/on/with sword in/on/with famine and in/on/with pestilence
14 जसको कारणले मिश्रदेशमा बस्न गएका यहूदाका बाँकी रहेकाहरूमध्ये कोही पनि उम्कने वा बाँच्ने वा यहूदामा फर्कनेछैन, जहाँ फर्केर जाने र बस्ने तिनीहरूको इच्छा छ । अनि त्यहाँबाट भागेका थोरैबाहेक अरू कोही फर्कनेछैन' ।”

15 तब आफ्ना पत्नीहरूले अरू देवताहरूलाई धुप बाल्दैथिए भनी थाहा पाएका त्यस ठुलो सभाका सबै मानिस र उक्त सभामा भएका सबै स्त्री अनि तल्लो र माथिल्लो मिश्रमा बस्ने सबै यहूदीले यर्मियालाई जवाफ दिए,

16 तिनीहरूले भने, “परमप्रभुको नाउँमा तिमीले हामीलाई भनेका वचनका तिम्रा कुरा हामी सुन्नेछैनौं ।

17 किनकि हामीले गर्नेछौं भनेका सबै कुरा हामी निश्चय नै गर्नेछौं, अर्थात् स्वर्गकी रानीलाई धुप बाल्नेछौं, अनि यहूदाका सहरहरू र यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा हामी, हाम्रा पुर्खाहरू, हाम्रा राजाहरू र हाम्रा अगुवाहरूले गरेझैं हामी तिनको निम्ति अर्घबलिहरू खन्याउनेछौं । तब हामी भोजनले भिपूर्ण हुनेछौं, र कुनै विपत्तिविना हाम्रो उन्नति हुनेछ ।
for to make: do to make: do [obj] all [the] word: thing which to come out: speak from lip our to/for to offer: offer to/for queen [the] heaven and to pour to/for her drink offering like/as as which to make: do we and father our king our and ruler our in/on/with city Judah and in/on/with outside Jerusalem and to satisfy food and to be pleasant and distress: harm not to see: see
18 हामीले स्वर्गकी रानीलाई धुप बाल्न र उनलाई अर्घबलिहरू खन्याउन छोड्दा हामी सबै जनाले गरिबी भोग्दै थियौँ अनि हामी तरवार र अनिकालले मर्दै थियौँ ।”
and from the past to cease to/for to offer: offer to/for queen [the] heaven and to pour to/for her drink offering to lack all and in/on/with sword and in/on/with famine to finish
19 स्त्रीहरूले भने, “हामीले स्वर्गकी रानीको सामु धुप बाल्दा र उनलाई अर्घबलिहरू खन्याउँदा, उनको प्रतिरूपका फुरौलाहरू बनाउँदा र उनलाई अर्घबलिहरू चढाउँदा के हामीले आफ्ना पतिहरूले भनेको नमानेर यी कुराहरू गर्यौँ र?”

20 तब यर्मियाले सबै मानिस अर्थात् पुरुषहरू र स्त्रीहरू अनि तिनलाई जवाफ दिने सबै मानिसहरूलाई तिनले घोषणा गरे र भने,

21 “के तिमीहरू, तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरू, तिमीहरूका राजाहरू, अगुवाहरू र देशका मानिसहरूले यहूदाका सहरहरू र यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा चढाएका धुपलाई परमप्रभुले सम्झनुभएन र? किनकि परमप्रभुले यो सम्झनुहुन्छ । यो उहाँको विचारमा आउँछ ।

22 तब तिमीहरूका दुष्ट अभ्यासहरूका कारणले र तिमीहरूले गरेका घिनलाग्दा कुराहरूको कारणले उहाँले यसलाई सहन सक्नुभएन । तब तिमीहरूको देश उजाड, त्रास र सराप बन्यो, यसैले आजको दिनसम्म त्यहाँ एक जना बासिन्दा छैन ।
and not be able LORD still to/for to lift: bear from face: because evil deed your from face: because [the] abomination which to make and to be land: country/planet your to/for desolation and to/for horror: destroyed and to/for curse from nothing to dwell like/as [the] day: today [the] this
23 तिमीहरूले धुप बालेका र परमप्रभुको विरुद्धमा पाप गरेको कारणले अनि तिमीहरूले उहाँको स्वोर, उहाँको व्यवस्था, उहाँका विधानहरू वा उहाँका करारका आदेशहरू पालन नगरेको कारणले तिमीहरूको विरुद्धमा यो विपत्ति आएको हो, जस्तो आजको दिनसम्म छ ।”

24 तब यर्मियाले सबै मानिस र सबै स्त्रीलाई भने, “हे मिश्रदेशमा भएका यहूदाका सबै मानिस हो, परमप्रभुको वचन सुन ।

25 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु, इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः 'स्वर्गकी रानीलाई पुजा गर्न र उनलाई अर्घबलिहरू चढाउन हामीले खाएका भाकलहरूलाई हामी निश्चय नै पुरा गर्नेछौं' भनी तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका पत्नीहरू दुवैले तिमीहरूका मुखले भनेका थियौ र तिमीहरूले आफ्ना हातले पुरा गरेका छौ । अब तिमीहरूका भाकलहरू पुरा गर । तिनलाई निरन्तर गर ।’

26 त्यसैले मिश्रदेशमा बस्ने सारा यहूदा हो, परमप्रभुको यो वचन सुन ‘हेर, मेरो महान् नाउँद्वारा मैले शपथ खाएको छु, परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ । सारा मिश्र देशमा भएका यहूदाका मानिसको मुखले अहिले, 'जीवित परमप्रभुको नाउँमा' भनेरझैं फेरि मेरो नाउँ कहिलै पनि पुकार्नेछैनन् ।”

27 हेर, मैले तिनीहरूलाई भलाइको निम्ति होइन, विपत्तिको निम्ति हेर्दैछु । मिश्रदेशमा भएको यहूदाको हरेक व्यक्ति सखाप नभएसम्म तिनीहरू तरवार र अनिकालले नष्ट हुनेछ ।
look! I to watch upon them to/for distress: harm and not to/for welfare and to finish all man Judah which in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt in/on/with sword and in/on/with famine till to end: destroy they
28 तब तरवारबाट बाँचेकामध्येका थोरै सङ्ख्या मात्र तिनीहरू मिश्रदेशबाट यहूदाको देशमा फर्कनेछन् । तब तिनीहरूको कि मेरो कसको वचन सत्य ठहर्दोरहेछ भनी मिश्रदेशमा बस्न गएका यहूदाका बाँकी भएकाहरूले जान्नेछन् ।

30 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'हेर, मिश्रको राजा फारो होप्रालाई त्यसका शत्रुहरू र त्यसको ज्यान लिन खोज्नेहरूको हातमा मैले सुम्पिदिनै लागेको छु । यहूदाका राजा सिदकियालाई मैले त्यसको ज्यान लिन खोज्ने शत्रु बेबिलोनको राजा नबूकदनेसरको हातमा सुम्पेको जस्तै त्यो हुनेछ ।’”
