Filemoni 1

1 Paulo mtabilwa wa kristo Yesu na Nnungu, Timotheo kwa filemoni bwiga litu wa tupanga lyengo pamo.

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy [our] brother, to Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellow-laborer,

2 na Afia neno mbwitu, na Akripas asikari nnyitu wa kanisa lyalikwmbana na kaachako.

And to [our] beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the church in thy house:

3 Neema ibe kwinu yaipita kwa Nnungu tate bitu na ngwana Yesu Kristo.

Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

4 Wakati woti nendoshukuru Nnungu nenda kutamwa panilaba.

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

5 Njoine obelya kwako na upendo na upendo waubilenao kwa ngwana Yesu na kwa banamachi boti.

Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus, and towards all saints;

6 Nduba umope waunogite wa ubelya kwinu kwa kila kikoe kigolou twenga na kristo.

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

7 Mbile napulaa telebuu kwa kitumbuu cha wenga kubatuliza mioyo banamachi.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

8 Nibii nangupu lyoti kwa boti katikaa Kristo ya kukubakia upange chauwecha panga.

Wherefore, though I might be very bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient.

9 Lakini kitumbu cha upendo, nenda kuloba nenga na Paulo nng'oi wanitabilwe nambiambi kitumbu cha yesu

Yet for love's sake I rather beseech [thee], being such one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

10 Nenda kuloba usu mwana wangu Onesmo wanimpapite katika tabilwa kwangu.

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

11 Hakupwaikeli lakini nambiambino hakupwaika wenga na nenga.

Who in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:

12 Nintumite ywembe ywapamwoyo wangu abuyangane kwako.

Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, my own bowels:

13 Napendi akayendelya tama nanee lenga aniya ngate pandu pako panitobilwe kwa kitubu liyagayo.

Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered to me in the bonds of the gospel:

14 Napendi kupanga kikowe sosate wangali yikilya wenga.

But without thy mind I would do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

15 Natendika kitumbu likowe linoguu lipangike kwakuwa muli, ila kati mwaupande wa mwane. Kitumbu sabukakasako sai kwalioba paumapa na wa maisa gote. (aiōnios g166)

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldst receive him for ever; (aiōnios g166)

16 Linga kareaba mmanda kai ila aba mundu yo ngama kati Nnungu ywaapendilwa muna na nenga munomuno na wenga kuyigana katu za bwana.

Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more to thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

17 Kati nyo mwamba ndolya nenga mshirika kai mwaupala paga kunipokiya nenga.

If thou accountest me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

18 Lakini mana kukosite likowe l'ol'ote nakulonga kikowe kuroke kachango nee.

If he hath wronged thee, or oweth [thee] aught, put that on my account;

19 Nee na'Paulo niandika kwa luboko namwene: nenga na'kulipa. Nikoya kwako kwo-longa mu'maisa g'ako muno.

I Paul have written [it] with my own hand, I will repay [it]: although I do not say to thee that thou owest to me even thy own self besides.

20 Eelo wanongo, Unileke nipate pula ya'Bwana boka kwako: uutelebuye moyo wango katika Kristo.

Yes, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

21 Bukana na amo niywa nikuahidikya wangali kyanyo panga uliapanga pita ama nikubakia nikuliba.

Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote to thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

22 Popo na popo ubike bwiso pandu pa ugonjo wa ageni kwa kitumbu sangu, nindowasa kwopitia amo uniliulya nakutyangila papipiino.

But at the same time prepare me also a lodging; for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given to you.

23 Epafra ayuu tatabilwa twatate kitu nibusa kirisitu Yesu endokusalimia.

There salute thee Epaphras, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus;

24 Kati mo panga Marko, Aristariko, Dema, Luka, bababi mulyangopamope na nenga.

Marcus, Aristarchus, Demas, Lucas, my fellow-laborers.

25 Ngingi ya Bwana bwitu Yesu Krisitu pamope na mwoyo wako. Amina

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit. Amen.
