And, to the sons of Issachar, belonged, Tola and Push, Jashib and Shimron, four.
2 Njalo amadodana kaThola: OUzi, loRefaya, loJeriyeli, loJahimayi, loIbisamu, loShemuweli, izinhloko zendlu yaboyise, abakoThola, amaqhawe alamandla ezizukulwaneni zabo; inani labo ensukwini zikaDavida laliyizinkulungwane ezingamatshumi amabili lambili lamakhulu ayisithupha.
And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations, —their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.
3 Lamadodana kaUzi: UIzrahiya. Lamadodana kaIzrahiya: OMikayeli, loObhadiya, loJoweli, uIshiya, bebahlanu; beyizinhloko bonke.
And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah, —and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiah—five, chiefs, all of them;
4 Kanye labo-ke, ngensendo zabo, ngendlu yaboyise, kwakukhona amaviyo ebutho lempi, izinkulungwane ezingamatshumi amathathu lesithupha, ngoba babelabafazi labantwana abanengi.
and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand, —for they had many wives and sons;
5 Labafowabo, phakathi kwensendo zonke zakoIsakari, amaqhawe alamandla, izinkulungwane ezingamatshumi ayisificaminwembili lesikhombisa, bebhalwe bonke ngezizukulwana.
and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.
6 Amadodana kaBhenjamini: OBhela, loBekeri loJediyayeli, bebathathu.
Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.
7 Lamadodana kaBhela: OEziboni, loUzi, loUziyeli, loJerimothi, loIri, bebahlanu; izinhloko zendlu zaboyise, amaqhawe alamandla; bebhalwe ngezizukulwana, babeyizinkulungwane ezingamatshumi amabili lambili lamatshumi amathathu lane.
And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour, —who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,
8 Njalo amadodana kaBekeri: OZemira, loJowashi, loEliyezeri, loEliyohenayi, loOmri, loJeremothi, loAbhiya, loAnathothi, loAlemethi; bonke laba babengamadodana kaBekeri.
And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.
9 Bebhalwe ngensendo ngezizukulwana zabo, izinhloko zezindlu zaboyise, amaqhawe alamandla, babezinkulungwane ezingamatshumi amabili lamakhulu amabili.
And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.
10 Njalo amadodana kaJediyayeli: UBilihani. Lamadodana kaBilihani: OJewushi, loBhenjamini, loEhudi, loKenahana, loZethani, loTarshishi, loAhishahari.
And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan, —and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.
11 Bonke laba babengamadodana kaJediyayeli, ngezinhloko zaboyise, amaqhawe alamandla; babeyizinkulungwane ezilitshumi lesikhombisa lamakhulu amabili, angaphuma ebuthweni ukuya empini.
All these—sons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war: —
12 LoShupimi loHupimi babengamadodana kaIri, loHushimi amadodana kaAheri.
Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.
13 Amadodana kaNafithali: OJahaziyeli, loGuni, loJezeri, loShaluma, amadodana kaBiliha.
the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.
14 Amadodana kaManase: UAsiriyeli umkakhe amzalayo. (Umfazi wakhe omncinyane umAramukazi wazala uMakiri uyise kaGileyadi.
The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, [his wife] bare, —his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;
15 UMakiri wathatha udadewabo kaHupimi loShupimi, waba ngumkakhe, obizo lakhe nguMahaka.) Lebizo leyesibili lalinguZelofehadi; njalo uZelofehadi wayelamadodakazi.
and, Machir, took a wife pertaining to Huppim and Shuppim, and, the name of his sister, was Maacah, and, the name of the second, Zelophehad, —and, Zelophehad, had, daughters.
16 UMahaka umkaMakiri wasezala indodana, wayitha ibizo wathi nguPereshi; lebizo lomfowabo lalinguShereshi, lamadodana akhe ayengoUlamu loRakema.
So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh, —and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;
17 Njalo amadodana kaUlamu: UBedani. La ayengamadodana kaGileyadi indodana kaMakiri indodana kaManase.
and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.
18 Udadewabo uHamolekethi wasezala oIshodi loAbiyezeri loMahla.
And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 Lamadodana kaShemida ayengoAhiyani loShekema loLikhi loAniyamu.
And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Njalo amadodana kaEfrayimi: OShuthela, loBeredi indodana yakhe, loTahathi indodana yakhe, loEleyada indodana yakhe, loTahathi indodana yakhe,
And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah, —and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;
21 loZabadi indodana yakhe, loShuthela indodana yakhe, loEzeri loEleyadi, amadoda eGathi azalelwa kulelolizwe abababulalayo, ngoba behlela ukuthatha izifuyo zabo.
and Zabad his son and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer and Elead, —but the men of Gath who had been born in the land slew them, because they had come down to take away their cattle.
22 UEfrayimi uyise walila insuku ezinengi; abafowabo basebesiza ukuzamduduza.
And Ephraim their father mourned many days, —and his brethren came to comfort him.
23 Wasengena kumkakhe; wathatha isisu, wazala indodana; waseyitha ibizo wathi nguBeriya, ngoba wayesebubini endlini yakhe.
And he went in unto his wife, and she conceived, and bare a son, —and he called his name, Beriah, because, in misfortune, was she in his house.
24 Lendodakazi yakhe yayinguShera, owakha iBethi-Horoni engaphansi lengaphezulu, leUzeni-Shera.
And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, —and Uzzen-sheerah.
25 Njalo uRefa wayeyindodana yakhe, loReshefi, loTela indodana yakhe, loTahani indodana yakhe,
And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son, —
26 uLadani indodana yakhe, uAmihudi indodana yakhe, uElishama indodana yakhe,
Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son, —
27 uNoni indodana yakhe, uJoshuwa indodana yakhe.
Non his son, Joshua his son.
28 Lemfuyo yawo lendawo zawo zokuhlala kwakuyiBhetheli lemizana yayo, langempumalanga iNaharani, langentshonalanga iGezeri lemizana yayo, leShekema lemizana yayo, kwaze kwaba seAya lemizana yayo.
And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof, —as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof; —

The sons of Asher, Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi and Beriah, —and Serah their sister.
31 Njalo amadodana kaBeriya: OHeberi, loMalikiyeli onguyise kaBirizayithi.
And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, —the same, was the father of Birzaith.
32 UHeberi wasezala oJafilethi loShomeri loHothamu loShuwa udadewabo.
And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, —and, Shua, their sister.
33 Lamadodana kaJafilethi: OPasaki loBimihali loAshivathi; la ngamadodana kaJafilethi.
And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.
34 Lamadodana kaShemeri: OAhi, loRohiga, uJehuba, loAramu.
And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.
35 Njalo amadodana kaHelemu umfowabo: OZofa loImina loSheleshi loAmali.
And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.
36 Njalo amadodana kaZofa: OSuwa, loHarineferi, loShuwali, loBeri, loImra,
The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah, —
37 uBezeri, loHodi, loShama, loShilisha, loIthirani, loBehera.
Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.
38 Njalo amadodana kaJetheri: OJefune loPisipa loAra.
And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
39 Njalo amadodana kaUla: OAra loHaniyeli loRiziya.
And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 Bonke laba babengabantwana bakaAsheri, izinhloko zendlu yaboyise, abakhethiweyo, amaqhawe alamandla, izinhloko zeziphathamandla. Basebebhalwa ngezizukulwana ebuthweni empini; inani labo lalingamadoda azinkulungwane ezingamatshumi amabili lesithupha.
All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders, —and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.
