ဆာလံ 131

1 ၁ အိုထာဝရဘုရား၊ အကျွန်ုပ်သည် စိတ်မမြင့်ပါ။ မျက်နှာလည်း မမော်ပါ။ ကိုယ်နှင့်မတန်၊ ကြီးမြင့်သော အမှုတို့၌ မကျင်လည်ပါ။

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up. Of David.” O LORD! my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty; I employ not myself on great things, or things too wonderful for me!

2 ၂ အကယ်စင်စစ် အကျွန်ုပ်သည် အမိနို့နှင့် ကွာ သော သူငယ်ကဲ့သို့၊ ကိုယ်စိတ်ကို ဖြေ၍ ငြိမ်းစေပါပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ်စိတ်နှလုံးသည် နို့ကွာသော သူငယ်ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်ပါ ၏။

Yea, I have stilled and quieted my soul As a weaned child upon his mother; My soul within me is like a weaned child.

3 ၃ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် ယခုမှစ၍၊ ကာလ အစဉ်မပြတ် ထာဝရဘုရားကို မြော်လင့်ပါစေ။

O Israel! trust in the LORD, Henceforth even for ever!
