ယောဟန် 3
And there was a man of the Pharisees, Nicodemus his name, a ruler of the Jews,
2 ၂ ညဉ့်အခါ ယေရှုထံတော်သို့လာ၍၊ အရှင်ဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ပြတော်မူသော ဤနိမိတ် လက္ခဏာတို့ကို ဘုရားသခင်၏အခွင့်မရှိလျှင် အဘယ်သူမျှ မပြနိုင်သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်ထောက်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည် ဘုရားသခင်အထံတော်မှ ကြွလာတော်မူသောဆရာဖြစ်ကြောင်းကို သိကြပါ၏ဟုလျှောက်သော်၊
this one came unto him by night, and said to him, 'Rabbi, we have known that from God thou hast come — a teacher, for no one these signs is able to do that thou dost, if God may not be with him.'
3 ၃ ယေရှုက၊ ဒုတိယမွေးခြင်းကို မခံသောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်ကို မမြင်ရဟု ငါ အမှန်အကန်ဆိုသည်ဟု ပြန်၍မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
Jesus answered and said to him, 'Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born from above, he is not able to see the reign of God;'
4 ၄ နိကောဒင်ကလည်း၊ အသက်ကြီးသောသူသည် မွေးခြင်းကိုအဘယ်သို့ခံနိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။ အမိဝမ်း ထဲသို့ တဖန်ဝင်၍မွေးခြင်းကို ခံနိုင်ပါမည်လောဟု လျှောက်၏။
Nicodemus saith unto him, 'How is a man able to be born, being old? is he able into the womb of his mother a second time to enter, and to be born?'
5 ၅ ယေရှုကလည်း၊ ရေနှင့်ဝိညာဉ်တော် မမွေးသောသူမည်သည်ကား၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံတော်သို့ မဝင်ရဟု ငါအမှန်အကန်ဆို၏။
Jesus answered, 'Verily, verily, I say to thee, If any one may not be born of water, and the Spirit, he is not able to enter into the reign of God;
that which hath been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which hath been born of the Spirit is spirit.
'Thou mayest not wonder that I said to thee, It behoveth you to be born from above;
8 ၈ လေသည် အလိုရှိတိုင်းသွားလာ၏။ လေ၏အသံကို သင်သည်ကြားရသော်လည်း အဘယ်အရပ်က ဖြစ်သည်၊ အဘယ်အရပ်သို့သွားသည်ကိုမသိနိုင်။ ထိုနည်းတူ ဝိညာဉ်တော်မွေးသောသူဖြစ်သည်ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
the Spirit where he willeth doth blow, and his voice thou dost hear, but thou hast not known whence he cometh, and whither he goeth; thus is every one who hath been born of the Spirit.'
Nicodemus answered and said to him, 'How are these things able to happen?'
Jesus answered and said to him, 'Thou art the teacher of Israel — and these things thou dost not know!
11 ၁၁ ငါအမှန်အကန်ဆိုသည်ကား၊ ငါတို့သည် ကိုယ်သိသောအရာကိုပြော၏၊ ကိုယ်မြင်သောအရာကို သက်သေခံ၏။ သို့သော်လည်း ငါတို့၏ သက်သေခံချက်ကို သင်တို့သည် မခံမယူကြ။
'Verily, verily, I say to thee — What we have known we speak, and what we have seen we testify, and our testimony ye do not receive;
12 ၁၂ မြေကြီးအရာကို ငါပြော၍ သင်တို့သည် မယုံလျှင်၊ ကောင်းကင်အရာကို ငါပြောသောအခါ အဘယ် သို့ ယုံကြလိမ့်မည်နည်း။
if the earthly things I said to you, and ye do not believe, how, if I shall say to you the heavenly things, will ye believe?
and no one hath gone up to the heaven, except he who out of the heaven came down — the Son of Man who is in the heaven.
'And as Moses did lift up the serpent in the wilderness, so it behoveth the Son of Man to be lifted up,
15 ၁၅ အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ထိုသားတော်ကို ယုံကြည်သောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့မရောက်၊ ထာဝရအသက်ကိုရမည်အကြောင်းတည်း။ (aiōnios g166)
that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during, (aiōnios g166)
16 ၁၆ ဘုရားသခင်၏သားတော်ကို ယုံကြည်သောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည်၊ ပျက်စီးခြင်းသို့မရောက်၊ ထာဝရ အသက်ကို ရစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိ၌ တပါးတည်းသော သားတော်ကို စွန့်တော်မူသည်တိုင်အောင် လောကီသားကို ချစ်တော်မူ၏။ (aiōnios g166)
for God did so love the world, that His Son — the only begotten — He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during. (aiōnios g166)
17 ၁၇ လောကီသားတို့အားအပြစ်စီရင်ခြင်းငှါ၊ ဘုရားသခင်သည်သားတော်ကို ဤလောကသို့ စေလွှတ်တော် မူသည်မဟုတ်။ လောကီသားတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော်အားဖြင့် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းသို့ရောက်မည်အကြောင်း စေလွှတ် တော်မူ၏။
For God did not send His Son to the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him;
18 ၁၈ သားတော်ကိုယုံကြည်သောသူသည် အပြစ်စီရင်ခြင်းကို မခံရ။ မယုံကြည်သောသူမူကား၊ ဘုရား သခင်၌ တပါးတည်းသောသားတော်ကို မယုံကြည်သောကြောင့် ယခုပင်အပြစ်စီရင်ခြင်းကိုခံရ၏။
he who is believing in him is not judged, but he who is not believing hath been judged already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 ၁၉ အပြစ်စီရင်ခြင်းကို ခံရကြောင်းကား၊ အလင်းသည် ဤလောကသို့ဝင်၍၊ လူတို့သည် မကောင်းသော အကျင့်ကို ကျင့်သောကြောင့်၊ အလင်းထက် မှောင်မိုက်ကိုသာ၍နှစ်သက်ကြ၏။
'And this is the judgment, that the light hath come to the world, and men did love the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil;
20 ၂၀ ဆိုးယုတ်သောအကျင့်ကို ကျင့်သောသူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အလင်းကိုမြင်ပျင်း၍ မိမိတို့ အကျင့်၌ အပြစ်ပါမည်ကိုမထင်ရှားစေခြင်းငှါ အလင်းသို့ မချဉ်းကပ်ကြ။
for every one who is doing wicked things hateth the light, and doth not come unto the light, that his works may not be detected;
21 ၂၁ သမ္မာတရားကို ကျင့်သောသူမူကား၊ မိမိအကျင့်တို့သည် ဘုရားသခင်၏အလိုတော်နှင့်ညီသည်ကို ထင်ရှားစေခြင်းငှါ အလင်းသို့ချဉ်းကပ်သည်ဟု ဟောတော်မူ၏။
but he who is doing the truth doth come to the light, that his works may be manifested, that in God they are having been wrought.'
22 ၂၂ ထိုနောက်မှ ယေရှုသည် တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့်အတူ ယုဒပြည်၏ကျေးလက်သို့ ကြွတော်မူလျှင်၊ ထို အရပ်၌ တပည့်တော်တို့နှင့်တကွ နေတော်မူ၍ ဗတ္တိဇံကို ပေးလေ၏။
After these things came Jesus and his disciples to the land of Judea, and there he did tarry with them, and was baptizing;
23 ၂၃ ယောဟန်သည်လည်း၊ ရှာလိမ်မြို့နှင့်အနီး အဲနုန်အရပ်၌ ရေများသောကြောင့်၊ ဗတ္တိဇံကိုပေး၍ နေသဖြင့်၊ လူများတို့သည်လာ၍ ဗတ္တိဇံကို ခံကြ၏။
and John was also baptizing in Aenon, nigh to Salem, because there were many waters there, and they were coming and were being baptized —
for John was not yet cast into the prison —
25 ၂၅ ထိုအခါယောဟန်၏တပည့်တို့သည် စင်ကြယ်ခြင်းကို အကြောင်းပြု၍ ယုဒလူနှင့်ဆွေးနွေးငြင်းခုံခြင်း ရှိကြသဖြင့်၊
there arose then a question from the disciples of John with [some] Jews about purifying,
26 ၂၆ ယောဟန်ထံသို့လာ၍၊ အရှင်ဘုရား၊ ယော်ဒန်မြစ်တဘက်၌ ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်တကွရှိ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် သက်သေပေးသောသူသည် ဗတ္တိဇံကိုပေးလျက်နေ၏။ ထိုသူထံသို့ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ရောက်ကြပါ၏ဟု လျှောက်လျှင်၊
and they came unto John, and said to him, 'Rabbi, he who was with thee beyond the Jordan, to whom thou didst testify, lo, this one is baptizing, and all are coming unto him.'
John answered and said, 'A man is not able to receive anything, if it may not have been given him from the heaven;
ye yourselves do testify to me that I said, I am not the Christ, but, that I am having been sent before him;
29 ၂၉ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်သတို့သမီးကိုရသောသူသည် မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင်ဖြစ်၏။ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်လုလင်၏ အနားမှာနေ၍ သူ၏စကားကိုကြားရသော အဆွေခင်ပွန်းသည် ထိုစကားသံကိုကြားသောအားဖြင့် ဝမ်းမြောက် ခြင်းရှိ၏။ ထိုနည်းတူ ငါ၏ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း ပြည့်စုံ၏။
he who is having the bride is bridegroom, and the friend of the bridegroom, who is standing and hearing him, with joy doth rejoice because of the voice of the bridegroom; this, then, my joy hath been fulfilled.
'Him it behoveth to increase, and me to become less;
31 ၃၁ အထက်မှလာသောသူသည် အလုံးစုံတို့၏ အထွဋ်ဖြစ်၏။ မြေကြီးမှဖြစ်သောသူသည် မြေကြီးနှင့် စပ်ဆိုင်၍ မြေကြီးအရာကိုပြောတတ်၏။ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံမှကြွလာသောသူသည် အလုံးစုံတို့၏အထွဋ်ဖြစ်တော် မူ၏။
he who from above is coming is above all; he who is from the earth, from the earth he is, and from the earth he speaketh; he who from the heaven is coming is above all.
'And what he hath seen and heard this he doth testify, and his testimony none receiveth;
he who is receiving his testimony did seal that God is true;
34 ၃၄ ဘုရားသခင်စေလွှတ်တော်မူသောသူသည် ဘုရားသခင်၏စကားတော်ကို ပြောဆိုတတ်၏။ ထိုသူ အား ဘုရားသခင်သည် ဝိညာဉ်တော်ကို အတိုင်းအရှည် မရှိဘဲ ပေးတော်မူ၏။
for he whom God sent, the sayings of God he speaketh; for not by measure doth God give the Spirit;
the Father doth love the Son, and all things hath given into his hand;
36 ၃၆ သားတော်ကို ယုံကြည်သောသူသည် ထာဝရအသက်ကိုရ၏။ သားတော်ကို ပယ်သောသူမူကား အသက်ကို မတွေ့ရ။ ထိုသူ၏အပေါ်၌ ဘုရားသခင်၏ အမျက်တော်တည်နေသည်ဟု ယောဟန်ဟောလေ၏။ (aiōnios g166)
he who is believing in the Son, hath life age-during; and he who is not believing the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God doth remain upon him.' (aiōnios g166)
