ယောဟန် 4
Therefore when Jesus knew that the Pharisees had heard, "Jesus is making and baptizing more disciples than John"
2 ၂ တပည့် တော်တို့သာလျှင် ပေးကြသော်လည်း ၊ ယေရှု သည် ယောဟန် ထက် သာ၍ များသော သူတို့ကို တပည့် တော်ဖြစ်စေ ၍ ၊ ဗတ္တိဇံ ကိုပေးကြောင်း ကို ဖာရိရှဲ တို့သည် ကြား ပြီဟု သခင် ဘုရားသိ တော်မူသောအခါ ၊
(although Jesus himself did not baptize, but his disciples),
he left Judea, and departed again into Galilee.
He needed to pass through Samaria.
5 ၅ ယာကုပ် သည် မိမိ သား ယောသပ် အား ပေး သောမြေ အကွက်နှင့်အနီး ၊ ရှမာရိ နယ်၊ ရှုခါ အမည် ရှိသောမြို့ သို့ ရောက် တော်မူ၏။
So he came to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son, Joseph.
6 ၆ ထို အရပ်၌ယာကုပ် ၏ ရေတွင်း ရှိ ၏။ ယေရှု သည် ခရီးသွား ၍ ပင်ပန်း သောကြောင့် ရေတွင်း နား မှာ ထိုင် တော်မူ၏။ ထိုအချိန် သည် ခြောက် နာရီအချိန်ဖြစ် ၏။
Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being tired from his journey, sat down by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
7 ၇ ရှမာရိ မိန်းမ တစ်ယောက်သည် ရေ ခပ် ခြင်းငှာလာ ၍၊ ယေရှု က၊ ငါ သောက် ဘို့ရေပေး ပါဟု ထိုမိန်းမ အားမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink."
8 ၈ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် စားစရာ ကိုဝယ် ခြင်းငှာ မြို့ ထဲသို့ သွား ကြသည် အခိုက် ဖြစ်သတည်း။
For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.
9 ၉ ထို မိန်းမ ကလည်း၊ သင် သည်ယုဒ လူဖြစ် လျက်ပင်၊ ရှမာရိ မိန်းမ ဖြစ် သောအကျွန်ုပ် ကိုအဘယ်ကြောင့် သောက် ဘို့တောင်း သနည်းဟုဆို ၏။ ဆိုသည်အကြောင်း ကား၊ ယုဒ လူတို့သည် ရှမာရိ လူတို့နှင့်ပေါင်းဖေါ် ခြင်း မ ရှိ။
The Samaritan woman therefore said to him, "How can you, being a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?" (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
10 ၁၀ ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ ဘုရားသခင် ကျေးဇူး တော်ကို၎င်း ၊ ငါ သောက် ဘို့ရေပေး ပါဟုဆို သောသူ ကား အဘယ်သူ ဖြစ် သည်ကို၎င်း သင်သည်သိ လျှင် ထို သူကိုတောင်း လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုသူသည်လည်း အသက် ရေ ကို ပေး လိမ့်မည် ဟုပြန် ၍ မိန့် တော်မူသော်၊
Jesus answered her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give me a drink,' you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water."
The woman said to him, "Sir, you have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. From where do you get that living water?
12 ၁၂ ဤရေတွင်း ကို ငါ တို့အဘ ယာကုပ် သည် ငါ တို့အား ပေး ၏။ သူ့ ကိုယ်တိုင်မှစ၍ ၊ သားသမီး ၊ တိရိစ္ဆာန် များတို့သည် ဤ တွင်းရေကိုသောက် ကြပြီ။ သခင်သည် ထိုသူထက်ကြီးမြတ် သလောဟုဆို ၏။
Are you greater than our father, Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank of it himself, as did his children, and his livestock?"
Jesus answered her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again,
15 ၁၅ မိန်းမ ကလည်း၊ သခင် ၊ ကျွန်ုပ် သည်ရေငတ် ခြင်းနှင့်၎င်း ၊ သည် ကိုလာ ၍ရေ ခပ်ခြင်းနှင့်၎င်း ကင်းလွတ် မည်အကြောင်း ထို ရေ ကိုပေး ပါဟု တောင်း လျှင်၊
The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water, so that I do not get thirsty, neither come all the way here to draw."
He said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here."
The woman answered and said to him, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You said well, 'I have no husband,'
18 ၁၈ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ သင်၌လင် ငါး ယောက်ရှိ ဘူးပြီ။ ယခု သင်နှင့်နေ သောသူ သည်သင် ၏လင် မ ဟုတ် ။ ဤ အရာ၌ သင်သည်မှန် သောစကားကိုပြော ပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
for you have had five husbands; and he whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truly."
The woman said to him, "Sir, I perceive that you are a prophet.
20 ၂၀ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ဘိုးဘေး များသည် ဤ တောင် ပေါ်၌ ကိုးကွယ် လေ့ရှိကြ၏။ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ သာ ကိုးကွယ် ရ မည်ဟု သင် တို့သည်ဆို တတ်ကြ၏ဟု လျှောက် လျှင်၊
Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship."
21 ၂၁ ယေရှု က၊ အချင်းမိန်းမ ၊ ငါ့ စကားကိုယုံ လော့။ ဤ တောင် သို့ မ လာ၊ ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ မ သွားဘဲ ခမည်းတော် ကိုကိုးကွယ် ရမည် အချိန် ကာလရောက် ဆဲရှိ၏။
Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father.
22 ၂၂ သင် တို့သည်ကိုယ်မ သိ သောအရာ ကို ကိုးကွယ် ကြ၏။ ငါ တို့သည်ကိုယ်သိ သောအရာ ကို ကိုးကွယ် ကြ ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ယုဒ လူတို့၌ ကယ်တင် ခြင်းအကြောင်းရှိ ၏။
You worship that which you do not know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
23 ၂၃ ကိုးကွယ် သောသူမှန် သမျှတို့သည် ခမည်းတော် ကို နံ ဝိညာဉ်နှင့် ၎င်း၊ သစ္စာ တရားနှင့် ၎င်း၊ ကိုးကွယ် ရမည့်အချိန် ကာလသည်လာ ၍ ယခုပင် ရောက်လျက်ရှိ ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသို့ ကိုးကွယ် သောသူ တို့ကို ခမည်းတော် သည် အလိုရှိ တော်မူ၏။
But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers.
24 ၂၄ ဘုရားသခင် သည် နံဝိညာဉ် ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ဘုရားသခင် ကို ကိုးကွယ် သောသူ တို့သည်၊ နံဝိညာဉ် နှင့် ၎င်း ၊ သစ္စာ နှင့်၎င်း ကိုးကွယ် ရမည် ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth."
25 ၂၅ မိန်းမ ကလည်း၊ မေရှိ ကြွလာ တော်မူသည်ဟု အကျွန်ုပ်သိ ပါ၏။ ရောက် တော်မူသောအခါ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ အား အလုံးစုံ တို့ကိုဖော်ပြ တော်မူမည်ဟု လျှောက် ပြန်၏။ မေရှိအနက် ကား၊ ခရစ်တော် ဟု ဆိုလိုသတည်း။
The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah comes," (he who is called Christ). "When he has come, he will declare to us all things."
Jesus said to her, "I am he, the one who speaks to you."
27 ၂၇ ထိုအခါ တပည့် တော်တို့သည် ရောက်လာ ၍ ၊ ထို မိန်းမ နှင့် စကား ပြောတော်မူသည်ကို အံ့ဩ ခြင်းရှိကြ၏၊ သို့သော်လည်း ၊ အဘယ် အလို တော်ရှိသနည်း၊ ထိုမိန်းမ နှင့် အဘယ်ကြောင့် စကား ပြောတော်မူသနည်းဟု အဘယ်သူ မျှမလျှောက် ကြ။
At this, his disciples came. They were surprised that he was speaking with a woman; yet no one said, "What are you looking for?" or, "Why do you speak with her?"
So the woman left her water pot, and went away into the city, and said to the people,
29 ၂၉ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြု ဘူးသမျှ သော အမူအရာတို့ကို ထုတ်ဘော်သောသူ ကိုလာ ၍ကြည့် ကြပါ။ ထိုသူ သည် ခရစ်တော် မှန် လိမ့်မည်လောဟု လူ များတို့အား ပြောဆို သော်၊
"Come, see a man who told me everything that I did. Can this be the Christ?"
They went out of the city, and were coming to him.
In the meanwhile, the disciples urged him, saying, "Rabbi, eat."
But he said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about."
33 ၃၃ ထိုကြောင့် တပည့် တော်တို့က၊ တစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်သောသူသည် စားစရာကို ပို့ ပြီလော ဟု အချင်းချင်း မေးမြန်း ကြလျှင်၊
The disciples therefore said one to another, "Has anyone brought him something to eat?"
34 ၃၄ ယေရှု က၊ ငါ့ ကိုစေလွှတ် တော်မူသောသူ ၏ အလို တော်ကိုဆောင် ခြင်း၊ သူ ၏အမှု တော်ကို ပြီးစီး ခြင်းအမှုသည် ငါ့ စားစရာ ဖြစ် ၏။
Jesus said to them, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.
35 ၃၅ ယခု မှစ၍လေး လလွန်လျှင်၊ စပါး ရိတ်ရာကာလဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်ဟု သင် တို့ဆို တတ်သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ ငါဆို သည်ကား၊ စပါး ရိတ်ခြင်း အလိုငှာ လယ်ပြင် တို့သည် ယခုပင် ဝင်းဝင်း ရှိ သည်ကို မျှော် ၍ ကြည့် ကြလော့။
Do you not say, 'There are yet four months until the harvest?' Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes and see the fields, that they are white for harvest already.
36 ၃၆ စပါးရိတ် သောသူ သည် အခ ကိုခံရ ၍ ထာဝရ အသက် ရှင်ခြင်းအလိုငှာ အသီးအနှံ ကိုစုသိမ်း ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် ပျိုးကြဲ သောသူ နှင့် စပါးရိတ် သောသူ တို့သည် အတူ ဝမ်းမြောက် ကြလိမ့်မည်။ (aiōnios g166)
He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit to everlasting life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. (aiōnios g166)
For in this the saying is true, 'One sows, and another reaps.'
38 ၃၈ သင် တို့သည် လယ်မ လုပ် သောအရပ်၌ စပါးရိတ် စေခြင်းငှာသင် တို့ကိုငါ စေလွှတ် ၏။ အခြား သော သူတို့သည် လယ်လုပ် ကြ၍ ၊ သင် တို့သည် ထိုသူ တို့၏ အလုပ် ထဲသို့ ဝင် ရကြ၏ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their labor."
39 ၃၉ ရှမာရိမိန်းမ က၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ပြု ဘူးသမျှ သော အမှုအရာတို့ကို သူသည်ထုတ်ဖေါ် ပြီဟု သက်သေခံ သော စကား ကြောင့် ၊ ထို မြို့ ၌နေသော ရှမာရိ လူအများ တို့သည် ယေရှု ကိုယုံကြည် ကြ၏။
From that city many of the Samaritans believed in him because of the word of the woman, who testified, "He told me everything that I did."
40 ၄၀ ထိုကြောင့် ၊ ရှမာရိ လူတို့သည် အထံ တော်သို့ရောက် လျှင် ၊ မိမိ တို့အရပ်၌ နေ တော်မူမည်ကြောင်း တောင်းပန် ၏။ ထို အရပ်၌ နှစ် ရက် နေ တော်မူ၏။
So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them. He stayed there two days.
Many more believed because of his word.
42 ၄၂ ထို မိန်းမ အား၊ ယခုဖြစ်လျှင် ငါတို့သည် သင် ၏စကား ကြောင့် သာ ယုံကြည် သည်မ ဟုတ်။ စကားတော် ကို ကိုယ်တိုင် ကြားနာ ရ၍၊ ဤသူ သည်လောကီသား တို့ကို ကယ်တင် တော်မူသောသခင်တည်းဟူသောခရစ်တော်အမှန်စင်စစ် ဖြစ် တော်မူကြောင်း ကို သိ သည်ဟု ဆို ကြ၏။
They said to the woman, "Now we believe, not because of your speaking; for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Savior of the world."
43 ၄၃ နှစ် ရက် လွန် ပြီးလျှင် ၊ ထို အရပ်မှထွက် ၍ နာဇရက်မြို့ကို ရှောင်လျက်၊ ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်သို့ ကြွတော်မူ၏။
After the two days he departed from there to Galilee.
44 ၄၄ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ပရောဖက် သည် မိမိ နေရင်းပြည် ၌ အသရေ မ ရှိ ဟု ယေရှု သည် ကိုယ်တိုင် သက်သေခံ တော်မူ၏။
For Jesus himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.
45 ၄၅ ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်သို့ ရောက် တော်မူသောအခါ ၊ ဂါလိလဲ လူတို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကိုလက်ခံ ကြ၏။ အကြောင်းမူကား ၊ ထိုသူ တို့သည် ယေရုရှလင် မြို့၌ ခံသောပွဲ သို့ သွား တတ်သဖြင့် ၊ ထိုပွဲ အတွင်း တွင် ပြု တော်မူသမျှ တို့ကို မြင် ခဲ့ကြ၏။
So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast, for they also went to the feast.
46 ၄၆ ရေ ကိုစပျစ်ရည် ဖြစ် စေသောအရပ် ၊ ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်ကာန မြို့သို့ တစ်ဖန် ကြွ တော်မူ၏။ ကပေရနောင် မြို့၌ အမတ် တစ် ယောက်၏သား သည် အနာ ရောဂါစွဲလျက်ရှိ ၏။
Jesus came therefore again to Cana of Galilee, where he made the water into wine. There was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum.
47 ၄၇ ယေရှု သည်ယုဒ ပြည်မှ ဂါလိလဲ ပြည်သို့ ရောက် တော်မူသည်ကို ထို အမတ်သည်ကြား လျှင်၊ အထံ တော်သို့ သွား ၍ သေ ခါနီး ဖြစ်သော မိမိ သား ဆီသို့ကြွ ၍ အနာ ရောဂါကို ငြိမ်းစေတော်မူမည်အကြောင်း တောင်းပန် လေ၏။
When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to him, and pleaded with him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was close to death.
48 ၄၈ ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ သင်တို့သည်နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာနှင့် အံ့ဖွယ် သောအမှုတို့ကို မ မြင် ရလျှင် ယုံ ခြင်းမ ရှိကြဟု မိန့် တော်မူသော်၊
Jesus therefore said to him, "Unless you see signs and wonders, you will in no way believe."
The nobleman said to him, "Sir, come down before my child dies."
50 ၅၀ ယေရှု ကလည်း၊ သွား လော့။ သင် ၏သား သည် အသက် ချမ်းသာရပြီ ဟု မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ ထို အမတ် သည် ယေရှု မိန့် တော်မူသော စကား ကို ယုံ ၍သွား လေ၏။
Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your son lives." The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.
51 ၅၁ လမ်း၌သွား စဉ်တွင် မိမိ ငယ်သား တို့သည် ခရီးဦးကြို လာ၍၊ ကိုယ်တော် ၏သား တော်သည် အသက် ချမ်းသာရပါပြီဟုကြားလျှောက် ကြ၏။
As he was now going down, his servants met him, saying that his son was alive.
52 ၅၂ အဘယ် အချိန် ၌ သက်သာ ခြင်းသို့ ရောက် သနည်းဟုမေး လျှင်၊ မနေ့ ခုနစ် နာရီ အချိန်၌ ဖျားနာ ပျောက် ပါသည်ဟု လျှောက် ကြ၏။
So he inquired of them the hour when he began to get better. They said therefore to him, "Yesterday at one in the afternoon, the fever left him."
53 ၅၃ ထိုအချိန်ကား၊ သင် ၏သား သည် အသက် ချမ်းသာရပြီ ဟု ယေရှု မိန့် တော်မူသောအချိန် ဖြစ် သည်ကို အဘ သိ ၍၊ ကိုယ်တိုင် မှစသော မိမိ ၏အိမ်သူ အိမ်သားအပေါင်း တို့သည် ယုံကြည် ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်ကြ၏။
So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said to him, "Your son lives." He believed, as did his whole house.
54 ၅၄ ဤ နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာတော်ကား၊ ယေရှု သည် ယုဒ ပြည်မှဂါလိလဲ ပြည်သို့ကြွ သည်နောက် ၊ ပြ တော်မူသော ဒုတိယ နိမိတ် လက္ခဏာဖြစ်သတည်း။
This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
