ယောဘ 15

1 ၁ တဖန် တေမန် အမျိုးသားဧလိဖတ် မြွက်ဆို သည် ကား၊

Then answered Eliphaz the Temanite, and said,

2 ၂ ပညာရှိ သောသူသည် လေ နှင့်တူသော အချည်းနှီး စကားကို ပြော သင့်သလော။ မိမိ ဝမ်း ကို အရှေ့ လေ နှင့်ပြည့် စေသင့်သလော။

Should a wise man utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?

3 ၃ အကျိုးမဲ့သောစကား ၊ ကျေးဇူး မ ပြုနိုင်သော စကား နှင့် ဆွေးနွေး သင့်သလော။

Should he reason with useless talk? or with speeches wherewith he can do no good?

4 ၄ သင် သည် ဘုရား သခင်ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်းအကျင့်၌ အကျိုး မရှိဟု ဆိုလို၏။ ဆုတောင်း ပဌနာပြုရာ ဝတ်ကို ဆီးတား တတ်၏။

Yea, you cast off fear, and restrain prayer before God.

5 ၅ သင်သည်ကိုယ် နှုတ် ဖြင့် ကိုယ် အပြစ် ကို ဘော်ပြ ၏။ ပရိယာယ် ပြုသောသူ ၏စကား ကို သုံး တတ်၏။

For your mouth utters your iniquity, and you choose the tongue of the crafty.

6 ၆ ငါ သည် သင့်ကိုအပြစ်မ တင်၊ သင့် နှုတ် သည် သင့် ကိုအပြစ် တင်၏။ သင့် နှုတ်ခမ်း တို့သည် သင့် တစ်ဘက် ၌ သက်သေခံ ၏။

your own mouth condemns you, and not I: yea, your own lips testify against you.

7 ၇ သင်သည် အဦး ဆုံးဘွား သောလူ ဖြစ်သလော။ တောင် များကို မဖန်ဆင်းမှီ သင့်ကိုဖန်ဆင်း သလော။

Are you the first man that was born? or were you made before the hills?

8 ၈ ဘုရား သခင်နှင့် တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာတိုင်ပင် ဘူး သလော ။ ပညာ ကို ကိုယ် ၌ အကုန်အစင်သိမ်းထားပြီ လော။

Have you heard the secret of God? and do you restrain wisdom to yourself?

9 ၉ ငါတို့မ သိ ၊ သင်သိ သောအရာမည်မျှ ရှိသနည်း။ ငါ တို့၌ မ ပါ၊ သင်နားလည် သောအရာမည်မျှရှိသနည်း။

What know you, that we know not? what understand you, which is not in us?

10 ၁၀ သင့် အဘ ထက် အသက် ကြီးသောသူ၊ ဆံပင် ဖြူ သောသူတို့သည် ငါ တို့တွင် ရှိကြ၏။

With us are both the grayheaded and very aged men, much elder than your father.

11 ၁၁ သင် ၌ ဘုရား သခင်ပေးတော်မူသောသက်သာ ခြင်းအကြောင်းနည်း သလော။ သင် ၌ ဝှက် ထားသောအမှု တစုံတခုရှိသလော။

Are the consolations of God small with you? is there any secret thing with you?

12 ၁၂ ကိုယ် အလိုသို့လိုက်၍ အဘယ်ကြောင့် လွှဲ သွားသနည်း။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် မျက် စောင်းထိုးသနည်း။

Why does your heart carry you away? and what do your eyes overlook,

13 ၁၃ သင် ၏စိတ် သဘောသည် ဘုရား သခင်နှင့် ဆန့်ကျင် ဘက်ဖြစ်၍ ၊ နှုတ် နှင့် ပြစ်မှား ပေ၏။

That you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?

14 ၁၄ လူ သည်အဘယ် သို့သောသူဖြစ်၍ သန့်ရှင်း နိုင်သနည်း။ မိန်းမ ဘွား သောသူသည် အဘယ်သို့သောသူဖြစ်၍ ဖြောင့်မတ် နိုင်သနည်း။

What is man, that he should be clean? and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?

15 ၁၅ ဘုရားသခင်သည် မိမိ သန့်ရှင်း သူတို့ကိုပင် ယုံ တော်မ မူ။ ကောင်းကင် ဘုံသော်လည်း ရှေ့ တော်၌ မ စင်ကြယ်။

Behold, he puts no trust in his saints; yea, the heavens are not clean in his sight.

16 ၁၆ သို့ဖြစ်လျှင် ၊ ရေ ကိုသောက်သကဲ့သို့ ဒုစရိုက် အပြစ်ကို သောက် လျက်၊ ဆိုးညစ် ရွံ့ရှာ ဘွယ်သော လူ သတ္တဝါ၌ အဘယ် ဆိုဘွယ် ရှိသနည်း။

How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinks iniquity like water?

17 ၁၇

I will show you, hear me; and that which I have seen I will declare;

18 ၁၈

Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it:

19 ၁၉ ငါ့ စကားကို နားထောင် လော့။ တပါး အမျိုးသားနှင့် မ ရောနှော ၊ ကိုယ်အမျိုးတမျိုးတည်းလျှင် မြေ ကို ပိုင်သော ပညာရှိ တို့သည်၊ ဘိုးဘေး လက်ထက်မှစ၍ မ ထိမ် မဝှက်၊ ပြော ဘူးသော အရာ၊ ငါ့ကိုယ်တိုင်မြင် သော အရာကို ငါပြသ မည်။

Unto whom alone the earth was given, and no stranger passed among them.

20 ၂၀ ဆိုး သောသူသည် တသက်လုံး ဒုက္ခ ဆင်းရဲကို ခံရ၏။ ညှဉ်းဆဲ တတ်သောသူသည် မိမိအသက် အပိုင်း အခြားကို မသိရ။

The wicked man labors with pain all his days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.

21 ၂၁ သူသည် ကြောက်မက် ဘွယ်သောအသံ ကို ကြား လျက်နေရ၏။ စည်းစိမ်ကို ခံစားစဉ် တွင်၊ ဖျက်ဆီး သောသူသည် လာတတ်၏။

A dreadful sound is in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.

22 ၂၂ မှောင်မိုက် ထဲ မှာ ဘေးလွတ် မည်ဟု မြော်လင့် စရာမ ရှိ။ ထား သည်သူ့ကို ချောင်းမြောင်း လျက်ရှိ၏။

He believes not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword.

23 ၂၃ စားစရာ ကို ရှာ၍လှည့်လည် ရ၏။ မိမိအဘို့ မှောင်မိုက် ကာလ သည် အသင့် ရှိသည်ကို သိ ၏။

He wanders abroad for bread, saying, Where is it? he knows that the day of darkness is ready at his hand.

24 ၂၄ ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းဒုက္ခနှင့် နာကြဉ်း ခြင်းဝေဒနာတို့သည် ထိုသူ ကို ချောက် တတ်၏။ စစ်တိုက် ခြင်းငှါ အသင့် နေသောရှင်ဘုရင် ကဲ့သို့ သူ့ ကို နိုင် တတ်၏။

Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail against him, as a king ready to the battle.

25 ၂၅ အကြောင်း မူကား၊ ထိုသူသည် ဘုရား သခင်၏ အာဏာ တော်ကို ဆန် လျက်၊ အနန္တ တန်ခိုးရှင်တစ်ဘက် ကနေ၍ ကိုယ်ကိုခိုင်ခံ့ စေ၏။

For he stretches out his hand against God, and strengthens himself against the Almighty.

26 ၂၆ လည်ပင်း ကို ဆန့်လျက်၊ ထူ သောဒိုင်း ပုနှင့် ဆီးကာလျက်၊ ဘုရား သခင်ကို တိုက်အံ့သောငှါပြေး ၏။

He runs upon him, even on his neck, upon the thick bosses of his bucklers:

27 ၂၇ မိမိ မျက်နှာ ကို ဆူဖြိုး ခြင်းနှင့် ဖုံးအုပ် ၍၊ ဝမ်းပျဉ်း အသားသည်လည်း ဆူဖြိုးလျက် အတွန့်တွန့်နေ၏။

Because he covers his face with his fatness, and makes fatness on his flanks.

28 ၂၈ သို့သော်လည်း လူဆိတ်ညံ သောမြို့ ၊ အဘယ်သူမျှမ နေ။ လဲလုသော အိမ်တို့၌ သူသည်နေ ရ၏။

And he dwells in desolate cities, and in houses which no man inhabits, which are ready to become heaps.

29 ၂၉ ငွေ မ ရတတ်ရ၊ သူ ၏စည်းစိမ် မ တည် ရ။ သူ ၏ ဥစ္စာ ပစ္စည်းသည် မြေကြီး ပေါ် မှာ မ ပြန့်ပွါး ရ။

He shall not be rich, neither shall his substance continue, neither shall he prolong the perfection thereof upon the earth.

30 ၃၀ သူသည် မှောင်မိုက် ဘေးနှင့် မ လွတ် ရ။ မီးလျှံ သည်သူ ၏အခက် အလက်တို့ကို လောင်လိမ့်မည်။ ဘုရား သခင်၏ နှုတ် တော်အသက် အားဖြင့် သုတ်သင် ပယ်ရှင်းခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။

He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches, and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.

31 ၃၁ အဘယ်သူမျှလှည့်စား ခြင်းကိုခံ၍ အနတ္တ ကို မ ခိုလှုံ စေနှင့်။ သို့မဟုတ်အနတ္တ အကျိုးကိုခံရ လိမ့်မည်။

Let not him that is deceived trust in vanity: for vanity shall be his recompence.

32 ၃၂ အချိန် မ စေ့မှီဆုံး ခြင်းသို့ ရောက်လိမ့်မည်။ သူ ၏ အခက် အလက်သည် မ စိမ်း ရာ။

It shall be accomplished before his time, and his branch shall not be green.

33 ၃၃ စပျစ် နွယ်ပင်ကဲ့သို့ မိမိ ၌ မ မှည့်သော အသီးကို၎င်း၊ သံလွင် ပင်ကဲ့သို့ မိမိ အပွင့် ကို၎င်းချွေ ရလိမ့်မည်။

He shall shake off his unripe grape as the vine, and shall cast off his flower as the olive.

34 ၃၄ အဓမ္မ လူ၏အသင်း သည် ဆိတ်ညံ လိမ့်မည်။ တံစိုး စားသောသူတို့၏နေရာ သည် မီး လောင် လိမ့်မည်။

For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

35 ၃၅ ထိုသူတို့သည်မကောင်း သောအကြံကို ပဋိသန္ဓေ ယူ၍ အနတ္တ ကိုဘွား တတ်ကြ၏။ သူ တို့ဝမ်း ထဲ၌မုသာ ကို ကိုယ်ဝန်ဆောင်တတ်သည်ဟု မြွက်ဆို၏။

They conceive mischief, and bring forth vanity, and their belly prepares deceit.
