ယောလ 2
1 ၁ ဘုရားသခင်၏တောင်တော်မြတ်တည်းဟူသော ဇိအုန်တောင်ပေါ်တွင်တံပိုးခရာမှုတ်ကြလော့။ နှိုးဆော်သံပေးကြလော့။ ယုဒပြည်သူတို့တုန်လှုပ်ကြလော့။ ထာဝရဘုရားတရားစီရင်တော်မူရာနေ့ရက် ကာလသည်မကြာမီကျရောက်လာလိမ့်မည်။
Blow the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of Jehovah cometh, for it is at hand;
2 ၂ ထိုနေ့သည်မှောင်မိုက်အုံ့ဆိုင်းသောနေ့၊မည်း နက်လျက် မိုးတိမ်ထူထပ်သောနေ့ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ တောင်ရိုးများကိုလွှမ်းခြုံလိုက်သည့် မှောင်ရိပ်ကဲ့သို့၊ကျိုင်းကောင်အုပ်ကြီးသည်ရှေ့သို့ ချီတက်လာလေသည်။ ဤသို့အဘယ်အခါကမျှဖြစ်ပျက်ခဲ့ဘူးသည်မရှိ။ နောင်အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှလည်းဖြစ်ပျက်လိမ့်မည် မဟုတ်။
a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and gross darkness, as the dawn spread upon the mountains; — a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after them, to the years of generations and generations.
3 ၃ ကျိုင်းကောင်တို့၏ရှေ့နှင့်နောက်တွင်သီးနှံပင်များကို မီးကဲ့သို့ကိုက်စားကြ၏။ မြေကြီးသည်သူတို့၏ရှေ့၌ဧဒင်ဥယျာဉ်နှင့် တူ၍ သူတို့၏နောက်တွင်မူကား၊သီးနှံပင်ကင်းမဲ့သည့် သဲကန္တာရနှင့်တူ၏။ သူတို့၏ဘေးအန္တရာယ်မှလွတ်မြောက်သည့် အသီးအနှံဟူ၍မရှိ။
A fire devoureth before them, and behind them a flame burneth; the land is as a garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness: yea, and nothing escapeth them.
The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so they run.
5 ၅ သူတို့သည်တောင်ရိုးများပေါ်တွင်ခုန်လွှားကာ စစ်မြင်းရထားမြည်သံကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ မြက်ခြောက်မီးလောင်သကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း အော်မြည်ကြ၏။ သူတို့သည်တိုက်ပွဲဝင်ရန်အသင့်ပြင်လျက် ရှိသည့် တပ်မတော်ကြီးကဲ့သို့စီတန်းလျက်နေကြ၏။
Like the noise of chariots, on the tops of the mountains, they leap; like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6 ၆ သူတို့ချဉ်းကပ်လာသောအခါ၊လူအပေါင်း တို့သည် ကြောက်လန့်တုန်လှုပ်ကြကုန်၏။ လူတိုင်း၏မျက်နှာတွင်သွေးမရှိတော့ပေ။
Before them the peoples are in anguish: all faces turn pale.
7 ၇ ကျိုင်းကောင်တို့သည်စစ်သူရဲများသဖွယ် တိုက်ခိုက်ကြ၏။ စစ်သည်တပ်သားများသဖွယ်မြို့ရိုးများကို တက်ကြ၏။ သူတို့အားလုံးပင်ရှေ့သို့တည့်မတ်စွာ ချီတက်လျက်နေကြ၏။ မိမိတို့၏လမ်းကိုမပြောင်းမလွှဲကြ။
They run like mighty men; they climb the wall like men of war; and they march every one on his ways, and break not their ranks.
8 ၈ အချင်းချင်းတစ်ကောင်နှင့်တစ်ကောင် အနှောင့်အယှက်လည်းမဖြစ်စေကြ။ သူတို့ခံတပ်များကိုဖြတ်၍ပျံသန်း ကြသော်လည်း၊ သူတို့အားအဘယ်သူမျှမဆီးမတားနိုင် ကြ။
Neither doth one press upon another; they march every one in his path; and fall amid weapons, but are not wounded.
9 ၉ သူတို့သည်မြို့ရှိရာသို့ပြေးကြ၏။ မြို့ရိုးများကိုကျော်၍အိမ်များပေါ်သို့တက် ပြီးလျှင် သူခိုးသဖွယ်ပြူတင်းပေါက်များမှဝင်ကြ၏။
They spread themselves over the city; they run upon the wall; they climb up into the houses; they enter in by the windows like a thief.
10 ၁၀ သူတို့ချဉ်းကပ်လာချိန်၌မြေငလျင်လှုပ် လေ၏။ မိုးကောင်းကင်သည်လည်းတသိမ့်သိမ့်တုန်၍ သွားလေ၏။ နေနှင့်လသည်မှောင်မိုက်လျက်နေကာကြယ် တာရာ များသည်လည်းမထွန်းမလင်းကြတော့ချေ။
The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.
11 ၁၁ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မိမိတပ်မတော်ကို မိုးကြိုးသံနှင့် တူသည့်အသံဖြင့်အမိန့်ပေးတော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်၏အမိန့်တော်ကိုနာယူကြသူ စစ်သည်တပ်သားများသည်၊ အရေအတွက်အားဖြင့်များ၏။ တန်ခိုး ကြီးကြ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားတရားစီရင်တော်မူရာ နေ့ရက်ကာလသည် အဘယ်မျှကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်ကောင်းပါသနည်း။ ထိုနေ့ရက်ကာလကိုအဘယ်သူ လွန်မြောက်နိုင်ပါမည်နည်း။
And Jehovah uttereth his voice before his army; for his camp is very great; for strong is he that executeth his word: for the day of Jehovah is great and very terrible; and who can bear it?
12 ၁၂ ထာဝရဘုရားက``သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့သည် ယခုအခါ၌ပင်အမှန်တကယ်နောင်တရ ကြလော့။ အစာရှောင်လျက်ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းလျက် ငါ့ထံသို့ပြန်လာကြလော့။
Yet even now, saith Jehovah, turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning;
13 ၁၃ သင်တို့သည်မိမိတို့အဝတ်များကို ဆုတ်ဖြဲခြင်းအားဖြင့်သာမဟုတ်ဘဲ၊ ကျိုးပဲ့သောစိတ်နှလုံးအားဖြင့်သင်တို့ ဝမ်းနည်းမှုကိုဖော်ပြရာ၏။ သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ထံတော်သို့ ပြန်လာကြလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သနားခြင်းမေတ္တာကရုဏာ တော်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံတော်မူ၏။ စိတ်ရှည်၍မိမိကတိတော်အတိုင်း ပြုတော်မူတတ်၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်အပြစ်များကိုဖြေလွှတ်ရန် အစဉ်ပင်အသင့်ရှိတော်မူသဖြင့်အပြစ် ဒဏ် ခတ်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။
and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto Jehovah your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
14 ၁၄ သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား သည်စိတ်တော်ကို ပြောင်းလဲကောင်းပြောင်းလဲတော်မူ၍ သင်တို့အားမြောက်မြားစွာသောအသီး အနှံများဖြင့် ကောင်းချီးပေးတော်မူပါလိမ့်မည်။ ထိုအခါသင်တို့သည်ကိုယ်တော်အား ဂျုံဆန်နှင့် စပျစ်ရည်ပူဇော်သကာများကိုဆက်သနိုင် ပါ၏။
Who knoweth? He might return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him, an oblation and a drink-offering for Jehovah your God?
15 ၁၅ ဇိအုန်တောင်ပေါ်တွင်တံပိုးခရာမှုတ်ကြလော့။ အစာရှောင်ကြရန်အမိန့်များကိုထုတ်ပြန်ကာ လူထုစည်းဝေးပွဲတစ်ရပ်ကိုခေါ်ယူကြလော့။
Blow the trumpet in Zion, hallow a fast, proclaim a solemn assembly;
16 ၁၆ လူတို့ကိုခေါ်ယူစုဝေး၍မြင့်မြတ်သော စည်းဝေးပွဲ တစ်ရပ်ကိုပြင်ဆင်ကြလော့။ အသက်ကြီးသူများကိုခေါ်ဖိတ်၍ ကလေးသူငယ်များနှင့်၊နို့စို့ရွယ်များကိုပါ စုဝေးစေကြလော့။ ထိမ်းမြားမင်္ဂလာပြုပြီးခါစ ဇနီးမောင်နှံများပင်လျှင်မိမိတို့၏အခန်း များကို စွန့်ခွာလာရကြပေမည်။
gather the people, hallow the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts; let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber, and the bride from her closet.
17 ၁၇ ယဇ်ပလ္လင်နှင့်ဗိမာန်တော်အဝင်ဝစပ်ကြား၌ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမှုတော်ကိုထမ်းဆောင်ရသူ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်များသည်ငိုကြွေးလျက်၊ ``အို ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏လူမျိုးတော်ကိုသနားတော်မူပါ။ `သူတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်သည်အဘယ်မှာနည်း' ဟုဆိုကာလူမျိုးခြားများသည် ကျွန်တော်မျိုးတို့အားကဲ့ရဲ့ပြောင်လှောင် စေတော်မမူပါနှင့်'' ဟု ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုကြရပေမည်။
Let the priests, the ministers of Jehovah, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare, O Jehovah, thy people, and give not thine inheritance to reproach, that they should be a byword of the nations. Wherefore should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?
18 ၁၈ ထိုနောက်ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မိမိ၏ပြည် တော်အတွက် စိုးရိမ်ပူပန်မှုကိုပြတော်မူ၍၊ မိမိ၏လူမျိုးတော်အားကရုဏာထား တော်မူ၏။
Then Jehovah will be jealous for his land, and will have pity on his people.
19 ၁၉ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတို့အား``ယခုငါသည် သင်တို့အား ဂျုံဆန်၊စပျစ်ရည်နှင့်သံလွင်ဆီကို ပေးတော်မူမည်ဖြစ်၍၊ သင်တို့သည်ရောင့်ရဲလျက်နေကြလိမ့်မည်။ အခြားအမျိုးသားများသည်လည်းသင်တို့ အား ကဲ့ရဲ့ကြတော့မည်မဟုတ်။
And Jehovah will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I send you corn, and new wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith; and I will no more make you a reproach among the nations.
20 ၂၀ ငါသည်မြောက်အရပ်မှလာသည့်ကျိုင်း ကောင်အုပ်ကို ပယ်ရှင်းမည်။ ကျိုင်းကောင်အချို့ကိုသဲကန္တာရထဲသို့ နှင်ထုတ်မည်။ သူတို့တပ်ဦးပိုင်းကိုပင်လယ်သေထဲသို့ လည်းကောင်း၊ တပ်နောက်ပိုင်းကိုမြေထဲပင်လယ် ထဲသို့လည်းကောင်းကျစေမည်။ သူတို့၏ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာများသည်ပုပ်စပ်နံစော် လျက် နေလိမ့်မည်။ သင်တို့အားသူတို့ပြုခဲ့သည့်အမှုများ အတွက် ငါသည်သူတို့ကိုသုတ်သင်ဖျက်ဆီးမည်။
And I will remove far off from you him [that cometh] from the north, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, his face toward the eastern sea, and his rear toward the hinder sea; and his stench shall come up, and his ill odour shall come up, for he hath exalted himself to do great things.
21 ၂၁ ``အို လယ်ပြင်တို့မစိုးရိမ်ကြနှင့်။ သင်တို့အဖို့ထာဝရဘုရားပြုတော်မူသော အမှုများအတွက်၊ ရွှင်လန်း ဝမ်းမြောက်ကြလော့။
— Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for Jehovah doeth great things.
22 ၂၂ အို သားရဲတိရစ္ဆာန်တို့မစိုးရိမ်ကြနှင့်။ စားကျက်များသည် စိမ်းလန်းလျက်ရှိ၏။ သစ်ပင်များသည်အသီးသီးလျက်နေ၏။ သဖန်းသီးစပျစ်သီးတို့သည်လည်း အမြောက်အမြားရှိပါ၏။
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring; for the tree beareth its fruit; the fig-tree and the vine yield full increase.
23 ၂၃ ``အို ဇိအုန်မြို့သားတို့ဝမ်းမြောက်ကြလော့။ သင်တို့အားဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ပြုတော်မူသောအမှုများအတွက်အားရ ရွှင်မြူးကြလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သင်တို့အားဆောင်းဦးမိုး အလုံအလောက်ချပေးတော်မူလေပြီ။ ဆောင်းနှောင်းမိုးကိုလည်းကောင်းယခင် အခါများမှာကဲ့သို့ နွေဦးမိုးကိုလည်းကောင်း၊သင်တို့အပေါ်သို့ ရွာသွန်းစေတော်မူလေပြီ။
And ye, children of Zion, be glad and rejoice in Jehovah your God; for he giveth you the early rain in due measure, and he causeth to come down for you the rain, the early rain, and the latter rain at the beginning [of the season].
24 ၂၄ ကောက်နယ်တလင်းတို့သည်ဂျုံဆန်များနှင့် ပြည့်နှက်နေလိမ့်မည်။ အသီးနယ်ရာကျင်းတို့သည်လည်းစပျစ် ရည်နှင့် သံလွင်ဆီတို့ဖြင့်လျှံလျက်နေလိမ့်မည်။
And the floors shall be full of corn, and the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil.
25 ၂၅ သင်တို့၏သီးနှံများကိုကျိုင်းကောင်အုပ်တို့ ကိုက်စားလိုက်သည့်နှစ်များက၊ သင်တို့ဆုံးရှုံးမှုကိုငါပြန်လည်ပေး လျော်မည်။ သင်တို့ထံသို့ထိုကျိုင်းကောင်အုပ်များကို စေလွှတ်သူမှာငါပင်ဖြစ်၏။
And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, my great army which I sent among you.
26 ၂၆ ယခုအခါသင်တို့သည်အစာရေစာ အလုံအလောက် ရရှိကြမည်ဖြစ်၍၊ရောင့်ရဲလျက်နေလိမ့်မည်။ သင်တို့သည်မိမိတို့အတွက်အံ့သြဖွယ် အမှုများကိုပြုတော်မူသော၊ ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားအားထောမနာ ပြုကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်သည်နောင်ဘယ်အခါ၌မျှ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကိုခံရကြတော့မည်မဟုတ်။
And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of Jehovah your God, who hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
27 ၂၇ အို ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ငါသည် သင်တို့အလယ်၌ ရှိနေတော်မူကြောင်းကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ငါသည်သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်တော်မူ၍၊ ငါမှတစ်ပါးအခြားဘုရားမရှိကြောင်းကို လည်းကောင်း၊ ထိုအခါသင်တို့သိရှိကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်သည်နောင်ဘယ်အခါမျှ ကဲ့ရဲ့ခြင်းကိုခံရကြတော့မည်မဟုတ်။
And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I, Jehovah, [am] your God, and there is none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
28 ၂၈ ``ထိုနောက်ငါသည်မိမိ၏ဝိညာဉ်တော်ကို လူအပေါင်းတို့အပေါ်သို့သွန်းလောင်းမည်။ သင်တို့သားသမီးများသည်ငါ၏ဗျာဒိတ် တော်ကို ပြန်ကြားကြလိမ့်မည်။ အသက်ကြီးသူများသည်အိပ်မက်များကို မြင်မက်ကြလျက်၊ လူငယ်လူရွယ်တို့သည်ဗျာဒိတ်ရူပါရုံများကို တွေ့မြင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
And it shall come to pass afterwards [that] I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
29 ၂၉ ထိုကာလ၌ငါသည်မိမိ၏ဝိညာဉ်တော်ကို ယောကျာ်းအစေခံများနှင့်၊မိန်းမအစေခံများ အပေါ်သို့ပင်သက်ရောက်စေတော်မူမည်။
Yea, even upon the bondmen and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my Spirit.
30 ၃၀ ``ငါသည်ထိုနေ့ရက်ကာလနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ မိုးကောင်းကင်၌သော်လည်းကောင်း၊မြေကြီး ပေါ်၌ သော်လည်းကောင်းပုဗ္ဗနိမိတ်များကိုပြမည်။ သွေးထွက်သံယိုဖြစ်မှုမီးလျှံမီးခိုးများ ထမှုတို့ ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာလိမ့်မည်။
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31 ၃၁ ထာဝရဘုရားတရားစီရင်တော်မူရာ ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်ကောင်းသည့်နေ့ကြီး မကျမရောက်မီ၊ နေသည်မှောင်မိုက်၍သွားလိမ့်မည်။ လသည် လည်း သွေးကဲ့သို့နီမြန်း၍လာလိမ့်မည်။
The sun shall be changed to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah come.
32 ၃၂ သို့ရာတွင်ထာဝရဘုရားထံကူမတော် မူရန် လျှောက်ထားကြသူလူအပေါင်းတို့မူကား၊ ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကိုခံရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်မှာတော်မူခဲ့သည့်အတိုင်း `ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သူ၊ မြို့သား အချို့တို့သည်အသက်ဘေးနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါရွေးချယ်သူတို့သည်အသက်မသေဘဲ ကျန်ရှိကြလိမ့်မည်' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။''
And it shall be that whosoever shall call upon the name of Jehovah shall be saved: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as Jehovah hath said, and for the residue whom Jehovah shall call.
