၁ ရာဇဝင်ချုပ် 14
1 ၁ တုရုမြို့မှဟိရံမင်းသည်ဒါဝိဒ်ထံသို့ကုန်သွယ် ရေးသံတမန်အဖွဲ့တစ်ဖွဲ့ကိုစေလွှတ်ကာ နန်း တော်တည်ဆောက်ရန်အတွက်အာရဇ်သစ်များ နှင့်တကွ လက်သမားများ၊ ပန်းရံများကို ပေးပို့လိုက်၏။-
Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and cedar trees, and craftsmen of a wall, and craftsmen of wood, to build him a palace.
2 ၂ သို့ဖြစ်၍ဒါဝိဒ်သည်မိမိအားဣသရေလ ဘုရင်အဖြစ်ဖြင့် ထာဝရဘုရားခန့်ထား တော်မူပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်း၊ မိမိ၏ပြည်သူတို့ အကျိုးငှာဣသရေလနိုင်ငံကို ချမ်းသာ ကြွယ်ဝစေတော်မူပြီဖြစ်ကြောင်းသိရှိ ရ၏။
And David knew that the LORD had established him king over Israel; for his kingdom was exalted on high, for his people Israel's sake.
3 ၃ ဒါဝိဒ်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တွင်ထပ်မံ၍ လက်ထပ်ထိမ်းမြားမှုများကိုပြုသဖြင့် သားသမီးများထပ်မံ၍ရရှိလေသည်။-
David took more wives at Jerusalem; and David became the father of more sons and daughters.
4 ၄ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တွင်ရရှိသောသားတို့၏ နာမည်များမှာရှမွာ၊ ရှောဗပ်၊ နာသန်၊ ရှော လမုန်၊-
These are the names of the children whom he had in Jerusalem: Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,
and Ibhar, and Elishua, and Eliphelet,
and Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,
and Elishama, and Baaliada, and Eliphelet.
8 ၈ ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံတော်တစ်ဝှမ်းလုံးမှဒါဝိဒ် အားမင်းမြှောက်လိုက်ကြကြောင်း ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုး သားတို့ကြားသိကြသောအခါ ဒါဝိဒ်ကိုဖမ်း ဆီးရန်တပ်ချီလာကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ဒါဝိဒ် သည်ထိုသူတို့နှင့်ရင်ဆိုင်ရန်ထွက်ခွာလာခဲ့၏။-
When the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David: and David heard of it, and went out against them.
9 ၉ ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသားတို့သည်ရေဖိမ်ချိုင့်ဝှမ်းသို့ ရောက်ရှိကြသောအခါ လူတို့အားစတင်တိုက် ခိုက်လုယက်ကြကုန်၏။-
Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the Valley of Rephaim.
10 ၁၀ ဒါဝိဒ်က``ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုး သားတို့ကိုတိုက်ရပါမည်လော။ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင် သည်ကျွန်တော်မျိုးအားအောင်ပွဲကိုပေးတော် မူပါမည်လော'' ဟုဘုရားသခင်အားမေး လျှောက်၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားက``တိုက်လော့၊ ငါသည်သင့် အားအောင်ပွဲကိုပေးတော်မူမည်'' ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
David inquired of God, saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?" The LORD said to him, "Go up; for I will deliver them into your hand."
11 ၁၁ သို့ဖြစ်၍ဒါဝိဒ်သည်ဗာလပေရဇိမ်မြို့တွင် ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသားတို့အားတိုက်ခိုက်ရာအနိုင် ရလေ၏။ ဒါဝိဒ်က``ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ရန်သူ တပ်ကိုမြစ်ရေလျှံ၍ဖြိုခွင်းသကဲ့သို့ ငါ့ကို အသုံးပြု၍ဖြိုခွင်းတော်မူလေပြီ'' ဟုဆို ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ထိုအရပ်ကိုဗာလပေရဇိမ်မြို့ ဟုခေါ်ဝေါ်သမုတ်ကြလေသည်။-
So they came up to Baal Perazim, and David struck them there; and David said, God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like a breakthrough of waters. Therefore they called the name of that place Baal Perazim.
12 ၁၂ ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသားတို့သည်မိမိတို့ကိုးကွယ် သည့်ရုပ်တုများကို ထိုအရပ်တွင်ထားရစ်ခဲ့ ကြ၏။ ဒါဝိဒ်သည်လည်းယင်းတို့ကိုမီးရှို့ ပစ်ရန်အမိန့်ပေးတော်မူ၏။
They left their gods there; and David gave commandment, and they were burned with fire.
13 ၁၃ ထိုနောက်များမကြာမီဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသား တို့သည် ထိုချိုင့်ဝှမ်းသို့တစ်ဖန်ပြန်လာကြ လျက်စတင်လုယက်တိုက်ခိုက်ကြပြန်၏။-
The Philistines yet again made a raid in the valley.
14 ၁၄ ဒါဝိဒ်သည်လည်းနောက်တစ်ကြိမ်ဘုရားသခင် အားလျှောက်ထားစုံစမ်းပြန်၏။ ဘုရားသခင် က``သင်သည်ဤအရပ်မှနေ၍မတိုက်နှင့်။ အခြားတစ်ဖက်သို့လှည့်၍သွားပြီးလျှင် သစ်ဆီမွှေးပင်များအနီးမှနေ၍တိုက်လော့။-
And David inquired again of God; and God said to him, "You shall not go up after them. Turn away from them, and come at them opposite the poplar trees.
15 ၁၅ ငါသည်ဖိလိတ္တိတပ်ကိုဖြိုခွင်းရန်သင်တို့၏ ရှေ့မှချီတက်တော်မူမည်ဖြစ်၍ သင်တို့သည် သစ်ဆီမွှေးပင်ထိပ်ဖျားများတွင်စစ်ချီသံ များကိုကြားရသောအခါတိုက်ခိုက်ကြ လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
And it shall be, when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, that then you shall go out to battle; for God has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines."
16 ၁၆ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းသည်ဘုရားသခင်မိန့်တော်မူသည် အတိုင်းပြု၍ ဖိလိတ္တိအမျိုးသားတို့ကိုဂိ ဗောင်မြို့မှသည်ဂါဇေရမြို့သို့တိုင်အောင် နှင်ထုတ်တော်မူ၏။-
David did as God commanded him, and he struck the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gezer.
17 ၁၇ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်း၏ဂုဏ်သတင်းသည်အရပ်တကာ သို့ပြန့်နှံ့၍သွား၏။ မင်းကြီးအားလူမျိုး တကာတို့ကြောက်လန့်လာကြစေရန် ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်စီရင်တော်မူသတည်း။
The fame of David went out into all lands; and the LORD brought the fear of him on all nations.
