< Luka 8 >

1 Gakapiteje genego a Yeshu bhashinkupita mwilambo na ijiji bhalipita lunguya Ngani ja Mmbone ja Upalume gwa Nnungu. Bhaajiganywa likumi limo na bhabhili bhala gubhalongenenabhonji.
Now it happened after this that He started going around town by town, village by village, preaching and proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom of God, and the twelve were with Him;
2 Na kabhili bhanabhakongwe bhana bhashoshiywenje maoka na bhalamywenje ilwele na a Yeshu bhatendagalongana nabhonji. Bhene bhanganyabho pubhalinginji, a Malia Magidalena, bhashoshiywe maoka shabha,
also certain women who had been healed of malignant spirits and infirmities: Mary (the one called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had gone out;
3 a Yowana akongobhabho a Kusha bhatumishi bhakulu bha nnyumba ja a Elode na a Shushana na bhananji bhowepe, bhene bhanabhakongwebho bhatendaga kwajangutilanga a Yeshu kwa mali gabhonji ashaayene.
and Joanna the wife of Chuza, an official of Herod; and Susanna, and many others—these were providing for Him from their substance.
4 Likundi likulungwa lya bhandunji lyashinkwaajiila a Yeshu kukoposhela ilambo na ilambo. Nabhalabho gubhaatanjilenje aluno lutango luno.
Now when a large crowd had gathered, with people coming to Him from town after town, He spoke by a parable:
5 “Nkupanda ashinkwenda miya mmbeju yakwe. Pamiyaga pala mmbeju ina ikugwilaga mumpanda, bhapita mpanda gwaalibhetenje na ijuni gwiilile.
“A sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed some fell along the road, and it got trampled, and the birds of the air devoured it.
6 Ina gwiigwilile nnindandawe, ikameleje gwiiwile pabha pakakweteje mashi.
And some fell on the rock ledge, and upon sprouting it withered, because it had no moisture.
7 Ina gwiigwilile mmibha. Mibha ila ikakuleje guitenjele.
And some fell among thorns, and springing up together the thorns choked it.
8 Na ina guigwilile palitaka lya mmbone, guimelile niogoya yaigwinji.” Bhakabheleketeje genego, gubhautiye lilobhe bhalinkuti, “Akwete makutujo apilikane!”
The rest fell into the good ground, and growing up it produced fruit a hundredfold.” Upon saying these things He called out, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”
9 Bhaajiganywa bhabho a Yeshu gubhaabhushiyenje malombolelo ga lwene lutangolo.
Then His disciples asked Him saying, “What does this parable mean?”
So He said: “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God, but to the rest only in parables, so that ‘seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.’
11 Bhai gegano malombolelo ga lutangolu. Mmbeju lilobhe lya a Nnungu.
“Now here is the parable: The seed is the Word of God.
12 Nneyo peyo shikoposhele kwa mmbeju igwilile mumpanda shinalandana na bhandunji bhakulipilikananga lilobhe lila, kungai gwaishe ibhilishi gwalishoshiye mmitima jabhonji, bhanakulupalilanga nitapulwa.
Those along the road are those who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, in order that they not be saved, having believed.
13 Nneyo peyo shikoposhele kwa mmbeju igwilile pa lindandawe, shinalandana na bhandunji, bhakupilikananga lilobhe lila bhanakuliposhelanga nikwiinonyela. Ikabheje, namalinga mmbeju ila, bhene bhandunjibho pabha bhangalinji nnjiga, bhanakulupalilanga kashokope na bhalingwangaga bhakaakabhanga kuwa ntima.
Those on the rock ledge are the ones who, whenever they hear, receive the word with joy; yet these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of testing fall away.
Now that which fell into the thorns: these are the ones who heard, yet as they go they are choked by cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.
15 Nneyo peyo shikoposhele kwa mmbeju igwilile pa litaka lya mmbone, shinalandana na bhandunji bhakulipilikananga lilobhe lila kwa ntima gwa mmbone nikunda. Bhanganyabho bhanakwiikakatimilanga mpaka niogoya iepo.
But that on the good ground: these are the ones who having heard the word with a noble and good heart, hold on to it and produce fruit with perseverance.”
16 Bhandu bhakakoleyanga kandili nikujiunishila eu kujibhika nng'ungu. Ikabheje pabhikwa panani, nkupinga bhandu bhajinjilanga bhashibhonanje shilangaya.
Upon saying these things He called out: “He who has ears to hear, let him hear! No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but he sets it on a lamp stand, so that those who come in may see the light.
17 “Pabha shoshowe shishiiywe, shipinga undukulwa na yowe ili ya nng'iyo ipinga manyika kulugwinjili.
Further, there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything concealed that will not be made known and come into the open.
18 “Kwa nneyo mwiiteiganje na inkupilikanangayo, pabha akwete shindu shajenjesheywe, ikabheje jwangali shindu, nkali shishoko shaaganishiya akwete shila, apinga pokonyolwa.”
So be careful how you hear: Because whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has will be taken away from him.”
19 Penepo anyinabhabho na ashaapwabho a Yeshu gubhaikengenenje kukwaalola, ikabheje bhangakombolanga kwaabhandishila kwa ligongo lya lugwinjili lwa bhandu.
Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and they could not get near Him because of the crowd.
20 A Yeshu gubhabhalanjilwe kuti, anyinabhenu na ashaapwenu pubhalinginji palanga, bhanapinganga kummona.
And it was told Him by some saying, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.”
21 Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhaabhalanjilenje bhandu bhowe, “Bhakulipilikanishiyanga na kulikamulila lilobhe lya a Nnungu bhanganyabho ni a mama na ashapwanga nne.”
But in answer He said to them, “My mother and my brothers are these, the ones who hear the word of God and do it!”
22 Lyubha limo a Yeshu na Bhaajiganywa bhabho bhashinkukwelanga mmashua, gubhaabhalanjilenje, “Tujomboshe litanda tuishe kung'ambu.” Bhai, mwanja niguutandwibhe.
Now it happened on one of those days that He got into a boat with His disciples; and He said to them, “Let us go over to the other side of the lake.” So they launched out.
23 Bhalinginji mmashua, a Yeshu gubhagonile lugono. Mbungo na mabhimbili gamakulumakulu gugatabhile, mashi nigugatandwibhe kupakushila mmashua, nigubhajogopenje kaje, nibha atali.
But as they sailed He fell asleep. A windstorm descended on the lake, and they were being swamped and were in jeopardy.
24 Bhaajiganywa bhala gubhapite kukwaajumuyanga a Yeshu, bhalinkutinji, “Mmakulungwa, Mmakulungwa, tunawa!” A Yeshu nigubhajumwishe, nigubhajikalipile mbungo na mabhimbili gala, niguitondwebhe, kwa jii.
So they came and awakened Him, saying, “Master, Master, we are perishing!” Then He got up and rebuked the wind and the waves of water—and they stopped, and there was a calm!
25 Penepo nigubhaabhushiyenje, “Jili kwei ngulupai jenunji?” Gubhakanganigwenje na jogopa, akuno bhalibhuyananga, “Igala bhenebha bhandu bhashi, nkali mbungo na mabhimbili bhanakwiamulisha nikwaapilikana?”
So He said to them, “Where is your faith?” But being terrified they marveled, saying to each other: “Who can this be? Because He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!”
26 Gubhaikengenenje kushilambo sha Bhagelashi, shilolana na ku Galilaya kung'ambu ja litanda.
Then they sailed to the district of the Gadarenes, which is opposite Galilee.
27 A Yeshu pubhaulukaga kumbwani, mundu jumo nshilambo jwa shene shilambo shila, akwete maoka, gwabhaishile. Kwa mobha gamagwinji jwene mundujo akawalaga nngubho wala akatamaga nnyumba, ikabhe ndamo jakwe pujaaliji mmashembo ga shishila bhandu.
Well when He stepped out on the land, a certain man of that town met Him, who had had demons for a long time—he wore no clothes, nor did he live in a house, but among the tombs.
28 Akaabhoneje a Yeshu, gwajobhele gwaigwishiye pai mmujo jabho akuno alibheleketa kwa utiya, “Mmwe a Yeshu bhanabhabho a Nnungu bhakulu, mmwe nndi na nne? Shonde, ngunajuga nnamboteshe!”
When he saw Jesus he gave a yell, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice he said: “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg you, don't torment me!”
29 Ashinkubheleketa nneyo pabha a Yeshu bhammalanjile lioka jula kuti anshoshe mundu jula. Jwene lioka jwangali jwa mmbone jula akakabhaga kunkamula mundu jula, nkali bhandu bhanng'ugalilanje nnyumba nikuntabha mindondolo ja itale na pingu mmakono na mmakongono, akakabhaga kukutulanya yoweyo, na lioka jula atendaga kumminganjila kuanga.
because He had commanded the unclean spirit to get out of the man (it had seized him many times—he would be bound with chains and shackles, being kept under guard; then bursting the bonds he would be driven by the demon into deserted places).
30 Bhai a Yeshu gubhammushiye, “Lina lyako gani?” Gwajangwile, “Lina lyangu, ‘Manjola’” Pabha gashinkunjinjila maoka gamagwinji.
Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Legion” (because many demons had gone into him).
31 Ashimaoka bhala gubhaashondelesheyenje a Yeshu bhanaabhinganjilanje ku Jeanamu. (Abyssos g12)
And he kept imploring Him that He would not order them to go away into the Abyss. (Abyssos g12)
32 Penepo lyashinkupagwa likundi lya ngulubhe lilipitalya nshitumbi. Bhai ashimaoka bhala gubhaashondelesheyenje a Yeshu bhaaleshelelanje bhakaajinjilanje ashingulubhe bhala. Na bhalabho a Yeshu gubhaaleshelelenje.
Now a herd of many pigs was feeding there on the hillside; and they started begging Him that He would allow them to go into those; so He gave them permission.
33 Kwa nneyo ashimaoka bhala bhakunshokanganaga mundu jula, gubhaajinjilenje ashingulubhe, gubhaelelenje nnikote shibhutuka, nititimila nnitanda.
Then the demons exited the man and entered the pigs—and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned!
34 Bhalinda bha ngulubhe bhakagabhonanjeje gowe gakoposhele gala, gubhabhutukenje pita shumya nshilambo mula na mmigunda.
Well when the herders saw what had happened they ran away and reported it in the town and in the countryside.
35 Bhandunji gubhaikengenenje kulola gakoposhele. Gubhaajendelenje a Yeshu, gubhammweninji mundu ashoshilwe na maoka jula, atemi pa makongono ga a Yeshu, awete nngubho, ali na lunda lwakwe lwa mmbone, gubhajogopenje.
So they went out to see what had happened, and came to Jesus; they found the man from whom the demons had gone out sitting at Jesus' feet, clothed and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
36 Bhandu bhagawenenje pugatendekaga, gubhaatalashiyenje bhananji, shaashite lamywa mundu akwete maoka jula.
Also, the eyewitnesses reported to them how the demonized man was healed.
37 Bhashilambo bha Kugelashi gwaajogopenje kwa kaje. Kwa nneyo gubhaajujilenje a Yeshu bhashoshe. Bhai a Yeshu gubhakwelile ntumbwi gubhaijabhulile.
Then the whole multitude from the surrounding region of the Gadarenes asked Him to depart from them, because they were overcome by fear. So He got into the boat and returned.
38 Mundu ashoshiywe maoka jula, akwaashondelesheyag a Yeshu alonganenabho. Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhannajile bhalinkuti,
Now the man from whom the demons had gone out had started begging Him that he might be with Him. But Jesus sent him away, saying,
39 “Ubhuje kumui ukatalashiye yowe ibhakutendele a Nnungu.” Bhai mundu jula gwajabhwile pita lunguya ibhantendele a Yeshu, mmbali yowe ya shilambo shila.
“Return to your house and recount how much God has done for you.” So he went his way and proclaimed all over town how much Jesus had done for him.
40 A Yeshu bhakabhujeje, gubhaposhelwe na likundi likulungwa lya bhandu, pabha bhatendaga kwaalindililanga.
Now it happened, when Jesus returned, that the crowd welcomed Him, because they were all waiting for Him.
41 Penepo gubhaishe bhandu bhamo bhashemwaga a Yailo bhakulungwa bha shinagogi, gubhaatindibhalile a Yeshu, gubhaajujile bhajende kunngwabho,
And then, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue; he fell down at Jesus' feet and started begging Him to come to his house,
42 pabha nabhiti jwabho jwa yaka likumi limo na ibhili, numbe jwa jikape, paliji nnwele tome nawa. A Yeshu bhali nkwenda, bhandunji bhatendaga nokolananga nkwaabhandishila.
because he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. Now as He was going, the crowds were pressing against Him.
43 Bhai nnikundi lya bhandu mula bhashinkupagwa bhakongwe bhamo bhalwalaga nsholosholo yaka likumi limo na ibhili, bhashinkumaliya indu yabho yowe ku bhamitela, ikabheje jwakwapi akombwele kwaalamya.
And a woman—suffering with a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent her whole livelihood on physicians, but could not be healed by any—
44 Bhakongwe bhala gubhaakagwile a Yeshu pa nnyuma, gubhaakwashiye libhiniko lya nngubho jabho. Popo pepo gubhalamile shilwele shila.
approaching from behind touched the border of His garment; and immediately the flow of her blood stopped!
45 A Yeshu gubhabhushiye, “Gani angwashiye?” Bhowe gwaajangulenje kuti jwakwapi ankwashiye. Na a Petili gubhashite, “Mmaajiganya, lugwinjili lwa bhandu lushikunngumbalila nikuntimbilila ndendende!”
So Jesus said, “Who touched me?” When all denied it, Peter and those with him said: “Master, the people are pressing against you and crowding in, and you say, ‘Who touched me?’”
46 Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhashite, “Apali mundu angwashiye, pabha njikwiipilikana mashili galinjoka.”
But Jesus said, “Someone did touch me, because I noticed power going out from me.”
47 Bhakongwe bhala bhakabhoneje kuti ikakomboleka kwiiya, gubhailangwiye bhalitetemela kwa jogopa, gubhaatindibhalile a Yeshu. Penepo gubhatalashiye pa bhandu bhowe shiumilo sha kwaakwaya a Yeshu na shibhashite lamywa gwanakamope.
Now when the woman saw that she could not hide, she came trembling, and falling down before Him she told Him in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she was healed immediately.
48 A Yeshu gubhaabhalanjile. “Mwanangu ngulupai jako jikulamiye. Ujende kwa ulele.”
So He said: “Courage, daughter, your faith has healed you. Go into peace.”
49 A Yeshu bhakanabhe maliya kubheleketa a Yailo gubhapeleshelwe ntenga kukopoka kungwabho, “Mwali jwenu awile, igala gabhuli kupunda kwaabhuya bhaajiganya?”
While He was still speaking, here came someone from the synagogue ruler's house, saying to him: “Your daughter has died. Don't bother the teacher.”
50 A Yeshu bhakapilikaneje genego, gubhaabhalanjile a Yailo, “Mmwe nnajogope nkulupalilepe, shalame.”
But upon hearing it Jesus reacted by saying to him, “Don't be afraid; just believe and she will be healed.”
51 Bhakaisheje kumui bhangapinga kujinjila naka mundu juna ikabhe na a Petili na a Yowana na a Yakobho pamo na bhankwetenje mwana jula.
When He arrived at the house, He allowed no one to go in except Peter, John, James, the father of the child, and her mother.
52 Bhandu bhowe pubhalinginji nkunngutila ililo. A Yeshu gubhaabhalanjilenje, “Mpumulanje kuguta, pabha mwana jwangawa ashigonape!”
Now all were weeping and mourning for her; but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.”
53 Bhalabhonji gubhaeshilenje, pabha bhamumanyinji kuti mwana awile.
They started ridiculing Him, knowing that she had died.
54 Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhankamwile nkono, nikunshema, “Mwanangu jumuka!”
So He put them all outside, and grasping her hand He called, saying, “Child, arise!”
55 Gumi gwakwe ukummujilaga, shangupe gwajumwishe. A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje bhampanganje shalya.
Then her spirit returned, and she got right up! And He directed that she be given something to eat.
56 Bhankwetenje gubhakanganigwenje kwa kaje, ikabheje a Yeshu gubhaamulishenje bhanannugulilanje mundu jojowe gene gatendeshe gala.
Her parents were astonished, but He charged them to tell no one what had happened.
