< Luka 10 >

1 Gakapiteje genego Bhakulungwa gubhaagwilenje bhananji makumi shabha na bhabhili gubhaatumilenje bhabhili bhabhili, bhaalongolelanje kila shijiji na kila mmbali jibhatumbilile bhayene kwenda.
After this, the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of Him to every town and place He was about to visit.
2 Gubhaalugulilenje, “Maneng'eno gamagwinji, ikabheje bhaaneng'ena bhashokope. Kwa nneyo, mwaajuganje Bhakulungwa bha maneng'eneno bhatume bhaaneng'ena munngunda gwabho.”
And He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest.
3 Nnaino nnjendangane, mmumanyanje kuti ngunakuntumanga, malinga bhana ngondolo pakati maogo.
Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.
4 Nnajigalaganje mpatila gwa ela, wala nkobha, wala ilatu, mumpanda nnammuyanje abhali mundu jojowe.
Carry no purse or bag or sandals. Do not greet anyone along the road.
5 Nnjinjilanganaga nnyumba jojowe jila, ntandubhanje kujumushila nnei. Ulele ubhe na mmanganya ajino nyumba jino.
Whatever house you enter, begin by saying, ‘Peace to this house.’
6 Monaga shapagwe mundu jwa ulele mwenemo, shatame nago, akapagwe shigummujilanje mwaashayene.
If a man of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; if not, it will return to you.
7 Ntamangane jene nyumbajo, nnilyanganga na papila ishibhampanganjeyo, pabha ntumishi anapinjikwa apegwe nshaala gwakwe. Nnaamanje kushoka aji nyumbaji kwenda ajila.
Stay at the same house, eating and drinking whatever you are offered. For the worker is worthy of his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
8 Ibhaga nng'ikanganaga pa shilambo shoshowe na bhamposhelangaga, nniyanganje ishimpegwanjeyo.
If you enter a town and they welcome you, eat whatever is set before you.
9 Mwaalamyanje bhalwelenji bha kweneko, na mwaalungushiyanje bhandunji kuti, Upalume gwa a Nnungu ummandishilenje.
Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God is near you.’
10 Ikabheje nnjinjilangaga shilambo shoshowe, bhakamposhelanje, nnjabhulanje, pushimpitangane mmipanda jabhonji mmeleketanje nnei.
But if you enter a town and they do not welcome you, go into the streets and declare,
11 Nkali ndutuli ja nshilambo shenunji jili mmakongono getu tunakunkung'undilanga. Ikabheje mmumanyanje kuti Upalume gwa a Nnungu ubhandishile.
‘Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet, we wipe off as a testimony against you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God is near.’
12 Ngunakummalanjilanga, lyubha lya ukumu ja a Nnungu kwa shene shilambosho, shiibhe mbaya bhandunji bha shilambo sha Shodoma.
I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town.
13 “Ole mmwe a Kolashini! Ole mmwe a Bhetishaida! Pabha ilapo itendeshe kungwenunji, ikatendeshe ku Tilo na ku Shidoni, bhandunji bha yene ilambo ila, bhakaipetilenje bhukalape, kwa wala nngubho ya magunia na kwiitutulila liu.
Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Nkali nneyo lyubha lya ukumu mmanganya shimpatanje mboteko kupunda bhandu bha ku Tilo na ku Shidoni
But it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.
15 Numbe mmwe a Kapalanaumu, bhuli nkupinga kwikweya kuishila kunnungu? Ninkupinga gwiywa kuishila kundamo ja bhawilenje.” (Hadēs g86)
And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades! (Hadēs g86)
16 Penepo a Yeshu gubhashite, “Akumpilikanishiyanga mmanganya, anambilikanishiya nne, na akumposhelenga anamboshela nne. Na jojowe akaamboshela nne, akakwaaposhela bhandumile bhala.”
Whoever listens to you listens to Me; whoever rejects you rejects Me; and whoever rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”
17 Kungai, makumi shabha na bhabhili bhala gubhabhujilengene bhalikwiinonyelanga, bhalinkutinji, “Mmakulungwa nkali maoka ganakutupilikana kwa lina lyenu.”
The seventy-two returned with joy and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.”
18 A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Nammweni Lishetani aligwa mbuti kumeta, kopoka kunnungu.
So He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
19 Mpilikananje, njikumpanganga amuli ja libhata majoka na ibhalabhala, na mashili gowe gaka mmagongo, wala shakwa shoshowe shishimmenganje.
Behold, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.
20 Ikabheje, nnainonyelanje ligongo maoka kumpilikananga, ikabhe mwiinonyelanje pabha mena genunji gashijandikwa kunnungu.”
Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
21 Pala pepala, a Yeshu gubhangalile Mmbumu jwa Ukonjelo bhalinkuti, “Ngunakuntendala eja mmwe Atati, Mmakulungwa bha kunnungu na pa shilambolyo, pabha yene indui nshikwaiyanga bhakwetenje lunda na lumanyiyo, nikwaalangulanga bhana bhashoko. Elo Atati, pabha yenei ni ikunnonyela.”
At that time Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.
22 Kungai gubhashite, “Atati bhashingamuya indu yowe. Jwakwa akummanya Mwana ikabhe Atati, na wala akwaamanya Atati ikabhe Mwana na jojowe jwapinjile Mwana kunnangula yeneyo.”
All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.”
23 Kungai a Yeshu gubhaalolilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho, gubhaabhalanjilenje kujika. “Mbaya meyo gakwiibhona yene inkwibhonangai!
Then Jesus turned to the disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see.
24 Nguti, ashinkulondola bhabhagwinji na bhapalume, bhalokolilenje kwiibhona yene inkubhonangai, ikabheje bhangaibhonanga, na kupilikana inkugapilikanangai ikabheje bhangaipilikananga.”
For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
25 Bhaajiganya bhamo bha shalia gubhajimi nikwaabhuya, nkupinga kwaalinga, “Mmaajiganya, ndende bhuli mbate gumi gwa pitipiti?” (aiōnios g166)
One day an expert in the law stood up to test Him. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
26 A Yeshu gubhaajangwile, “Ijandikwe nndi nshalia?” Nkushoma nndi mwenemo?
“What is written in the Law?” Jesus replied. “How do you read it?”
He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”
28 A Yeshu gubhaabhalanjile, “Elo, nnjangwile ukoto! Ntende nneyo shinname.”
“You have answered correctly,” Jesus said. “Do this and you will live.”
29 Ikabheje nabhalabho nkupinga kwilanguya kuti bhaimanyi ibhabhushiye, gubhaabhushiye a Yeshu, “Igala ntami nnjangujo ni gani?”
But wanting to justify himself, he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 A Yeshu gubhaajangwile, “Mundu jumo kukopoka ku Yelushalemu atendaga elela kwenda ku Yeliko. Ali mumpanda, gwaimene na bhaapokonyola, gubhanng'ulilenje nngubho yakwe, na kunkoma nikunneka agonile pa mpanda pala, tome nawa.
Jesus took up this question and said, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him half dead.
31 Bhabhishila bhamo gubhapitile mpanda gula, bhakammoneje gubhammembele.
Now by chance a priest was going down the same road, but when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 Na nneyo peyo Bhalawi bhamo gubhapitile, bhakaisheje pepala, gubhammweni, na bhalabho gubhammembele.
So too, when a Levite came to that spot and saw him, he passed by on the other side.
33 Ikabheje Nshamalia jumo aliji mmwanja gwakwe kupitila mpanda gogo, akammoneje gwammonele shiya.
But when a Samaritan on a journey came upon him, he looked at him and had compassion.
34 Gwanng'egejele, nikunng'uka ilonda kwa mauta na divai nigwaitabhiile, kungai gwankweshiye mmbunda jwakwe nikumpeleka ku nyumba jimo ja bhajeninji nikunnwaya.
He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Malabhi gakwe gwatolile mmbiya, dinali ibhili gwabhapele bhayene nyumba bhala, alinkuti, ‘Munnwaye jwene munduju, na shoshowe shishimpundesho, pushimujepo shininnipe’”
The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Take care of him,’ he said, ‘and on my return I will repay you for any additional expense.’
36 Kungai a Yeshu gubhabhushiye, “Penepo bhene bhatatu bhala jwei ailangwile kuti ntami nnjakwe mundu akamwilwe na bhaapokonyola bhala?”
Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37 Bhaajiganya bha shalia bhala gubhaajangwile, “Ammonele shiya jula.” A Yeshu gubhaajangwile, “Nnjende nkatende nneyo peyo.”
“The one who showed him mercy,” replied the expert in the law. Then Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
38 A Yeshu na bhaajiganywa bhabho bhalikwendangana ku Yelushalemu, gubhaikengenenje shijiji shimo, penepo bhakongwe bhamo bhashemwaga a Malata, gubhaaposhele kunngwabho.
As they traveled along, Jesus entered a village where a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home.
39 A Malata bhashinkukola apwabho bhashemwaga a Malia, bhenebho bhashinkutama pa makongono ga a Yeshu bhalipilikanishiya majiganyo gabho.
She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to His message.
40 Ikabheje a Malata bhatendaga kamula indu yaigwinji. Bhai gubhaajendele a Yeshu, gubhaalugulile, “Mmakulungwa, igala nkalola kuti apwangabha bhashineshela maengo gowe? Bhai mwaabhalanjile bhanyangute.”
But Martha was distracted by all the preparations to be made. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me!”
41 Ikabheje Bhakulungwa gubhaajangwile, “A Malata, a Malata, nnakwiibhuka na kwiiabhuya nng'indu yaigwinji.
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord replied, “you are worried and upset about many things.
42 Ikabheje shiipinjikwa shindu shimope. A Malia bhashiagula shindu sha mmbone kaje, wala mundu ngaapokonyola.”
But only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her.”
