रोम. 2

1 १ तेव्हा दुसर्‍याला दोष लावणार्‍या अरे बंधू, तू कोणीही असलास तरी तुला सबब नाही; कारण तू ज्या गोष्टींत दुसर्‍याला दोष लावतोस त्यामध्ये तू स्वतःला दोषी ठरवतोस; कारण दोष लावणारा तूही त्याच गोष्टी करतोस.

Wherefore thou hast no excuse, O man, who judgest thy neighbour; for in that for which thou judgest thy neighbour, thou condemnest thyself; for in those which thou judgest, thou also art conversant.

2 २ पण आपल्याला माहीत आहे की, अशा गोष्टी करणार्‍यांविरुद्ध, देवाचा सत्यानुसार न्यायनिवाडा आहे.

AND we know what is the judgment of Aloha in truth against them who in these things converse.

3 ३ तर अशा गोष्टी करणार्‍यांना दोष लावणार्‍या आणि आपण स्वतः त्याच गोष्टी करणार्‍या, अरे बंधू, तू स्वतः देवाच्या न्यायनिवाड्यातून सुटशील असे मानतोस काय?

But thinkest thou, O man, who judgest them who in these converse, while thou also conversest in them, that thou wilt escape the judgment of Aloha?

4 ४ किंवा देवाची दया तुला पश्चात्तापाकडे घेऊन जात आहे हे न ओळखून तू त्याच्या ममतेचे, क्षमाशीलतेचे आणि सहनशीलतेचे धन तुच्छ मानतोस काय?

Or upon the riches of his goodness, and upon his long-suffering, and upon the space he giveth thee, presumest thou? and knowest not that the goodness of Aloha unto repentance leadeth thee?

5 ५ पण तू आपल्या हटवादीपणाने व आपल्या पश्चात्तापहीन मनाने आपल्या स्वतःसाठी देवाच्या क्रोधाच्या व यथोचित न्यायाच्या प्रकटीकरणाच्या दिवसासाठी क्रोध साठवून ठेवत आहेस.

Yet, through the hardness of thy unrepenting heart, layest thou up the treasure of wrath for the day of wrath, and the revelation of the just judgment of Aloha,

6 ६ तो प्रत्येकाला ज्याच्या त्याच्या कृत्याप्रमाणे प्रतिफळ देईल.

who rendereth to every man according to his works.

7 ७ म्हणजे जे धीराने सत्कर्मे करीत राहून गौरव, सन्मान व अक्षयता ही मिळवू पाहतात त्यांना तो सार्वकालिक जीवन देईलच; (aiōnios g166)

To them who seek, in perseverance of good works, glory and honour and incorruption, he giveth eternal life; (aiōnios g166)

8 ८ परंतु जे तट पाडणारे सत्याला न मानता अनीतीला मानतात त्यांना भयानक क्रोध व भयानक कोप.

but to them who are rebellious, and obey not the truth, but unrighteousness obey, he will render wrath and indignation

9 ९ संकट व क्लेश हे येतील. म्हणजे दुष्कृत्य करणारा मनुष्य प्रथम यहूदी आणि मग हेल्लेणी अशा प्रत्येकाच्या जीवावर ती येतील.

and affliction and distress, upon every man who worketh evils; to Jihudoyee first, and to Aramoyee;

10 १० पण प्रत्येक चांगले करणार्‍या प्रथम यहूद्याला आणि मग ग्रीकास गौरव, शांती व सन्मान ही मिळतील.

but glory and honour and peace to every one who worketh good, to the Jihudoya first, and also to the Aramoya;

11 ११ कारण देवाजवळ पक्षपात नाही.

for there is no acceptance of faces with Aloha.

12 १२ कारण, नियमशास्त्राशिवाय असलेल्या जितक्यांनी पाप केले असेल ते नियमशास्त्राशिवाय नाश पावतील आणि नियमशास्त्राखाली असलेल्या जितक्यांनी पाप केले असेल त्यांचा नियमशास्त्रानुसार न्याय होईल.

For they who without the law have sinned, without the law also will perish: and they who in the law have sinned, by the law will be judged.

13 १३ कारण नियमशास्त्राचे श्रवण करणारे देवापुढे नीतिमान आहेत असे नाही, पण नियमशास्त्राचे आचरण करणारे नीतिमान ठरतील.

For not the hearers of the law are righteous before Aloha, but the doers of the law are justified.

14 १४ कारण ज्यांना नियमशास्त्र नाही असे परराष्ट्रीय जेव्हा स्वभावतः नियमशास्त्रातील गोष्टी करतात तेव्हा त्यांना नियमशास्त्र नाही तरी ते स्वतः स्वतःसाठी नियमशास्त्र होतात.

FOR if the Gentiles, who have not the law, from their nature shall perform the law, these, while not having the law, unto themselves become a law.

15 १५ आणि एकमेकांतील त्यांचे विचार जेव्हा एकमेकांवर आरोप करतात किंवा एकमेकांचे समर्थन करतात आणि त्यांचे विवेकही त्यांच्या जोडीला साक्ष देतात तेव्हा ते त्यांच्या हृदयावर लिहिलेल्या नियमशास्त्राचा परिणाम दाखवितात.

And these show the work of law written upon their hearts, and their conscience testifieth of them, while their reasonings accuse or excuse one another;

16 १६ देव, माझ्या सुवार्तेप्रमाणे जेव्हा मनुष्यांच्या गुप्त गोष्टींचा ख्रिस्त येशूकडून न्याय करील त्यादिवशी हे दिसून येईल.

in the day when Aloha judgeth the secrets of men according to my gospel by Jeshu Meshiha.

17 १७ आता जर तू स्वतःला यहूदी म्हणतोस, नियमशास्त्राचा आधार घेतोस आणि देवाचा अभिमान मिरवतोस;

But if thou (who) a Jihudoya art called, and reposest on the law, and boastest in Aloha,

18 १८ तू त्याची इच्छा जाणतोस आणि चांगल्या गोष्टी पसंत करतोस, कारण तुला नियमशास्त्रातून शिक्षण मिळाले आहे;

because thou knowest his will, and distinguishest the things that are fitting, because thou art learned from the law;

19 १९ आणि तुझी खातरी आहे की तूच अंधळ्यांचा वाटाड्या आहेस जे अंधारात आहेत त्यांचा प्रकाश,

and confidest upon thyself that thou art a guide of the blind, and a light to those who are in darkness,

20 २० अल्पबुद्धी लोकांचे शिक्षक आणि लहान बाळांचा गुरु आहेस; कारण तुझ्याजवळ नियमशास्त्रात ज्ञानाचे व सत्याचे स्वरूप आहे;

and an instructor of the wanting-in-mind, and a teacher of children, and hast a type of knowledge and of truth in the law:

21 २१ तर मग जो तू दुसर्‍याला शिकवतोस तो तू स्वतःला शिकवीत नाहीस काय? चोरी करू नये, असे जो तू घोषणा करतोस तो तू चोरी करतो काय?

Thou, then, who teachest others, dost thou not teach thyself? and who preachest that men should not steal, dost thou steal?

22 २२ व्यभिचार करू नये, असे जो तू सांगतोस तो तू व्यभिचार करतोस काय? जो तू मूर्तींचा विटाळ मानतोस तो तू देवळे लुटतोस काय?

and who sayest they should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? And thou who condemnest idols, dost thou despoil the sanctuary?

23 २३ जो तू नियमशास्त्राचा अभिमान मिरवतोस तो तू नियमशास्त्राचे उल्लंघन करून देवाचा अपमान करतोस काय?

And thou who boastest of the law, in this that thou transgressest against the law, Aloha himself despisest thou?

24 २४ कारण शास्त्रलेखात लिहिल्याप्रमाणे देवाच्या नावाची परराष्ट्रीयात तुझ्यामुळे निंदा होत आहे.

For the name of Aloha through you is blasphemed among the Gentiles, as it is written.

25 २५ कारण जर तू नियमशास्त्राचे आचरण केलेस तर सुंता खरोखर उपयोगी आहे; पण जर तू नियमशास्त्राचे उल्लंघन करतोस तर तुझी सुंता झालेली असूनही ती न झाल्यासारखीच आहे.

For circumcision profiteth, if thou accomplish the law; but if thou transgress the law, thy circumcision is become uncircumcisedness.

26 २६ म्हणून कोणी मनुष्य जर सुंता न झालेला असूनही, नियमशास्त्राचे नियम पाळील तर त्याची सुंता न होणे हे सुंता असे गणण्यात येणार नाही काय?

But if the uncircumcision shall keep the commandment of the law, is not uncircumcisedness reckoned to him (as) circumcision?

27 २७ आणि देहाने सुंता न झालेला कोणी जर नियमशास्त्राचे पालन करीत असेल, तर ज्या तुला शास्त्रलेख व सुंताविधी मिळाले असूनही तू नियमशास्त्राचे उल्लंघन करतोस त्या तुझा तो न्याय करणार नाही काय?

And the uncircumcision, who by nature accomplishes the law will judge thee, who with the scripture and with circumcision, transgressest against the law.

28 २८ कारण बाहेरून यहूदी आहे तो यहूदी नाही किंवा बाहेरून देहात सुंता आहे ती खरोखर सुंता नाही.

FOR it is not in outwardness that he is a Jihudoya nor is that which is seen in the flesh circumcision:

29 २९ कारण जो अंतरी यहूदी आहे तो यहूदी होय आणि जी आध्यात्मिक अनुसरून आहे, शास्त्रलेखाला अनुसरून नाही, अशी जी अंतःकरणाची सुंता आहे ती सुंता होय आणि त्याची प्रशंसा मनुष्याकडून नाही परंतु देवाकडून होईल.

but he is a Jihudoya who is one in inwardness; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not from the sons of men, but from Aloha.
