स्तोत्रसंहिता 60

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, तू आम्हास टाकून दिले आहेस; तू आम्हास फाडून खाली टाकले आहे; आमच्यावर रागावला आहेस; तू आम्हांस पुन्हा पूर्वस्थितीवर आण.

To the chief Musician upon Shushan-eduth, Michtam of David, to teach; when he strove with Aram-naharaim and with Aram-zobah, when Joab returned, and smote of Edom in the valley of salt twelve thousand. O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased; O turn thyself to us again.

2 २ तू भूमी कंपित केली आहेस; तू ती फाडून वेगळी केली; तिचे खिंडार बरे कर, कारण ती हादरत आहे.

Thou hast made the earth to tremble; thou hast broken it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

3 ३ तू तुझ्या लोकांस कठीण गोष्टी दाखवल्या आहेत; तू आम्हास झिंगवण्यास लावणारा द्राक्षरस पाजला आहे.

Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

4 ४ तुझा आदर करणाऱ्यास तू निशाण दिले आहे, यासाठी की, त्यांनी सत्याकरता तो उभारावा.

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Selah)

5 ५ ज्यांच्यावर तू प्रेम करतो त्यांची सुटका व्हावी, म्हणून तुझ्या उजव्या हाताने आमची सुटका कर आणि आम्हास उत्तर दे.

That thy beloved may be delivered; save [with] thy right hand, and hear me.

6 ६ देव आपल्या पवित्रतेला अनुसरून म्हणाला, मी जल्लोष करीन; मी शखेमाची वाटणी करीन आणि सुक्कोथाचे खोरे मोजून देईन.

God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7 ७ गिलाद माझा आहे आणि मनश्शे माझा आहे; एफ्राईमही माझे शिरस्त्राण आहे; यहूदा माझा राजदंड आहे.

Gilead [is] mine, and Manasseh [is] mine; Ephraim also [is] the strength of mine head; Judah [is] my lawgiver;

8 ८ मवाब माझे धुण्याचे पात्र आहे; अदोमावर मी माझे पादत्राण फेकीन; मी आनंदाने पलिष्ट्यावर विजयाने आरोळी मारीन.

Moab [is] my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.

9 ९ मला बळकट नगरात कोण नेईल? मला अदोमात कोण नेईल?

Who will bring me [into] the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

10 १० हे देवा, तू आम्हास नाकारले नाही? परंतु तू आमच्या सैन्याबरोबर लढाईत गेला नाहीस.

[Wilt] not thou, O God, [which] hadst cast us off? and [thou], O God, [which] didst not go out with our armies?

11 ११ तू आमच्या शत्रूविरूद्ध आम्हास मदत कर, कारण मनुष्याचे सहाय्य निष्फळ आहे.

Give us help from trouble: for vain [is] the help of man.

12 १२ आम्ही देवाच्या मदतीने विजयी होऊ; तो आमच्या शत्रूला आपल्या पायाखाली तुडविल.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for he [it is that] shall tread down our enemies.
