स्तोत्रसंहिता 55

1 १ मुख्य गायकासाठी; तंतूवाद्दावरचे दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. हे देवा, माझ्या प्रार्थनेकडे कान लाव, आणि माझ्या विणवनीपासून लपू नकोस.

[For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A contemplation by David.] Listen to my prayer, God. Do not hide yourself from my petition.

2 २ देवा, माझ्याकडे लक्ष लाव आणि मला उत्तर दे माझ्या संकटात मला विसावा नाही.

Attend to me, and answer me. I am restless in my complaint, and moan,

3 ३ माझ्या शत्रूंच्या आवाजामुळे, दुष्टाच्या जुलूमामुळे मी कण्हत आहे, कारण ते माझ्यावर संकट आणतात, आणि द्वेषात माझा पाठलाग करतात.

Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked. For they bring suffering on me. In anger they hold a grudge against me.

4 ४ माझे हृदय फार दुखणाईत आहे, आणि मृत्यूचे भय माझ्यावर येऊन पडले आहे.

My heart is severely pained within me. The terrors of death have fallen on me.

5 ५ भय आणि थरथरने माझ्यावर आली आहेत, आणि भयाने मला ग्रासले आहे.

Fearfulness and trembling have come on me. Horror has overwhelmed me.

6 ६ मला कबूतरासारखे पंख असते तर किती बरे झाले असते. मी दूर उडून गेलो असतो आणि स्वस्थ राहिलो असतो.

I said, "Oh that I had wings like a dove. Then I would fly away, and be at rest.

7 ७ मी खूप दूर भटकत गेलो असतो. मी रानात राहिलो असतो.

Look, then I would wander far off. I would lodge in the wilderness." (Selah)

8 ८ वादळी वाऱ्यापासून मला आश्रय मिळावा म्हणून मी लवकर पळालो असतो.

"I would hurry to a shelter from the stormy wind and storm."

9 ९ प्रभू, त्यांना नाश कर, आणि त्यांच्या भाषेत गोंधळ निर्माण कर. कारण मी शहरात हिंसा आणि भांडणे पाहिली आहेत.

Confuse them, LORD, and confound their language, for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

10 १० दिवस रात्र ते भींतीवर चढून जातात; अपराध आणि अनर्थ तिच्यामध्ये आहेत.

Day and night they prowl around on its walls. Malice and abuse are also within her.

11 ११ दुष्टपणा तिच्यामध्ये कार्य करत आहे, जुलूम आणि कपट कधीही तिच्या रस्त्यांना सोडत नाही.

Destructive forces are within her. Threats and lies do not depart from her streets.

12 १२ कारण जर माझ्या शत्रूंनी मला दोष लावला असता तर तर मला कळून आले असते, किंवा माझा द्वेष करणारा जो माझ्याविरूद्ध उठला असता, तर मी स्वतःला त्याजपासून लपवले असते.

For it was not an enemy who insulted me, then I could have endured it. Neither was it he who hated me who raised himself up against me, then I would have hid myself from him.

13 १३ परंतु मला संकटात टाकणारा तू आहेस, माझा मित्र, माझा साथीदार, माझा दोस्त.

But it was you, a man like me, my companion, and my familiar friend.

14 १४ एकमेकांसोबत आपली गोड सहभागिता होती. आपण समुदायांबरोबर चालत देवाच्या घरात जात होतो.

We took sweet fellowship together. We walked in God's house with company.

15 १५ मृत्यू त्यांच्यावर अकस्मात येवो. जीवंतपणी ते मृतलोकांत खाली जावोत. कारण त्यांच्या जगण्यात दुष्टपण आहे. (Sheol h7585)

Let death come suddenly on them. Let them go down alive into Sheol. For wickedness is in their dwelling, in the midst of them. (Sheol h7585)

16 १६ मी तर देवाला हाक मारीन, आणि परमेश्वर मला तारील.

As for me, I will call on God. The LORD will save me.

17 १७ मी देवाशी सकाळी, दुपारी आणि संध्याकाळी आपले गाऱ्हाणे करेन आणि कण्हेन. आणि तो माझी वाणी ऐकेल.

Evening, morning, and at noon, I will cry out in distress. He will hear my voice.

18 १८ माझ्याविरूद्ध लढाणाऱ्यांपासून त्याने मला खंडूण, माझा जीव शांततेत ठेवला आहे. कारण माझ्याविरूद्ध लढणारे पुष्कळ होते.

He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, although there are many who oppose me.

19 १९ देव, जो पुरातन काळापासून आहे, तो ऐकणार आणि त्यांना प्रतिसाद देणार, (सेला) ते मनुष्ये बदलत नाहीत; ती देवाला भीत नाहीत.

God, who is enthroned forever, will hear, and humble them. (Selah) They never change, who do not fear God.

20 २० माझ्या मित्रांनी त्याच्या सोबत शांतीने राहणाऱ्यांवर आपला हात उगारला आहे. त्याने आपला करार मोडला आहे.

He has stretched out his hand against those who were at peace with him. He has violated his covenant.

21 २१ त्यांचे तोंड लोण्यासारखे आहे, परंतू त्याचे हृदय शत्रुत्व करणारेच आहे. त्यांचे शब्द तेलापेक्षा बुळ्बुळीतआहेत, तरी ते बाहेर काढलेल्या तलवारी सारखे आहे.

His mouth was smooth as butter, but his heart was war. His words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.

22 २२ तू आपला भार परमेश्वरावर टाक, म्हणजे तो तुला आधार देईल. तो नितीमानाला कधी पडू देणार नाही.

Throw your burden upon the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will never allow the righteous to be upended.

23 २३ परंतू हे देवा, तू त्यांना नाशाच्या खांचेत पाडून टाकशील; घातकी आणि कपटी मनुष्ये आपले अर्धे आयुष्यही जगणार नाहीत, परंतू मी तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवीन.

But you, God, will bring them down into the pit of destruction. Bloodthirsty and deceitful men shall not live out half their days, but I will trust in you.
