1 १ ह्यावरून ख्रिस्ताच्या ठायी काही आश्वासन, प्रीतीचे काही सांत्वन, आत्म्याची काही सहभागिता, काही कळवळा व करूणा ही जर आहेत,
If then there is any consolation in Christ, if there is any comfort of divine love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercies,
2 २ तर तुम्ही समचित्त व्हा, एकमेकांवर सारखीच प्रीती करा आणि एकजीव होऊन एकमनाचे व्हा. अशाप्रकारे माझा आनंद पूर्ण करा.
fill my joy, that you may think the same thing, having the same divine love, being like-minded, thinking this one thing;
3 ३ आणि तुम्ही विरोधाने किंवा पोकळ अभिमानाने काही करू नका, पण मनाच्या लीनतेने आपल्यापेक्षा एकमेकांना मोठे मानावे.
that nothing is to be according to self-seeking nor according to vain glory, but in humility esteeming one another better than yourselves;
looking not each after your own interests, but each after that of others.
Think the same thing among yourselves, which is also in Christ Jesus:
6 ६ तो देवाच्या स्वरूपाचा असूनही, त्याने आपण देवाच्या बरोबरीचे असणे हा लाभ आहे असे त्याने मानले नाही,
who, being in the form of God, thought it not usurpation to be equal with God,
but he humbled himself, having taken the form of a servant, being in the likeness of men; and having been found in fashion like a man;
8 ८ आणि मनुष्य प्रकृतीचे असे प्रकट होऊन त्याने स्वतःला लीन केले आणि त्याने मरण आणि तेही वधस्तंभावरचे मरण सोसले; येथपर्यंत आज्ञापालन करून त्याने स्वतःला लीन केले.
he humbled himself, being obedient even unto death, yea, the death of the cross.
Therefore God has indeed exalted him, and given him a name above every name;
that at the name of Jesus every knee must bow, of things in heaven and things upon the earth and things beneath the earth,
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, unto the glory of God the Father.
12 १२ म्हणून माझ्या प्रियांनो, जे तुम्ही सर्वदा आज्ञापालन करीत आला आहा, ते तुम्ही मी जवळ असता केवळ नव्हे तर विषेशकरून आता, म्हणजे मी जवळ नसताही, भीत व कांपत आपले तारण साधून घ्या.
So, my beloved brethren, as you have always harkened, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
for God is the one working in you both to will and to do, of his own good pleasure.
Do all things without murmurings and disputatious;
15 १५ ह्यासाठी की, या कुटिल आणि विपरीत पिढीमध्ये तुम्ही निर्दोष व निरुपद्रवी देवाची निष्कलंक मुले असे व्हावे; त्या लोकांमध्ये तुम्ही जीवनाचे वचन पुढे करून दाखवतांना ज्योतीसारखे जगात दिसता.
in order that you may be blameless and pure, the children of God, irreproachable, amid a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
16 १६ जीवनाच्या वचनास दृढ धरुन राहा, असे झाले तर माझे धावणे व्यर्थ झाले नाही व माझे श्रमही व्यर्थ झाले नाहीत असा अभिमान मला ख्रिस्ताच्या दिवशी बाळगण्यास कारण होईल.
having the word of life; unto my boasting in the day of Christ, because I did not run in vain, neither did I labor in vain.
17 १७ तुमच्या विश्वासाचा यज्ञ व सेवा, होतांना जरी मी अर्पिला जात आहे तरी मी त्याबद्दल आनंद मानतो व तुम्हा सर्वांबरोबर आनंद करतो;
But if indeed I am poured out for a sacrifice and an offering for your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice along with you all;
but you also rejoice in this same thing, and rejoice along with me.
19 १९ प्रभू येशूमध्ये मी आशा करतो की, लवकरच मी तीमथ्याला तुमच्याकडे पाठवेन म्हणजे, तुम्हा विषयीच्या गोष्टी जाणून माझे समाधान होईल.
But I hope in the Lord Jesus, speedily to send unto you Timothy, in order that I may also be delighted, having learned the things concerning you.
For I have no one like-minded, who will nobly remember the things concerning you;
for all are seeking after their own, and not the things of Jesus Christ.
22 २२ पण तुम्ही त्याचे शील हे जाणता की, जसा मुलगा पित्याबरोबर सेवा करतो, तशी त्याने शुभवर्तमानासाठी माझ्याबरोबर सेवा केली.
But you know his integrity, that, as a child a father, he served along with me in the gospel.
Indeed then I hope to send him, so soon as I may learn the things concerning myself:
but I trust in the Lord that I myself will come speedily.
25 २५ तरी मला माझा बंधू आणि सहकारी व सहसैनिक आणि तुमचा प्रेषित आणि माझी गरज भागवून माझी सेवा करणारा एपफ्रदीत ह्याला तुमच्याकडे पाठविण्याचे आवश्यक वाटले.
But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and fellow-laborer and fellow-soldier, and apostle and the minister of my necessity;
26 २६ कारण तो आजारी आहे हे तुम्ही ऐकले होते असे त्यास समजल्यावर त्यास तुम्हा सर्वांची हुरहुर लागून तो चिंताक्रांत अस्वस्थ झाला होता;
since he was longing after you all, and grieving, because you heard that he was sick.
27 २७ तो खरोखर, मरणाजवळ आला होता पण देवाने त्याच्यावर दया केली आणि केवळ त्याच्यावर नाही तर, मला दुःखावर दुःख होऊ नये म्हणून माझ्यावरही केली.
For he was indeed nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not only him, but me also, in order that I may not have sorrow upon sorrow.
28 २८ म्हणून, मी त्यास पाठविण्याची अधिक घाई केली, म्हणजे त्यास पुन्हा भेटून तुम्ही आनंद करावा आणि माझे दुःख कमी व्हावे म्हणून हे केले.
Therefore I the more diligently, in order that, seeing him, you may rejoice again, and I may not be without sorrow.
Then receive him in the Lord with all joy, and have such in honor:
30 ३० कारण माझी सेवा करण्यांत तुमच्या हातून जी कसूर झाली ती भरून काढावी म्हणून ख्रिस्त सेवेसाठी त्याने स्वतःचा जीव धोक्यात घातला व तो मरता मरता वाचला.
because he was nigh unto death on account of the work of Christ, having jeoparded his life, in order that he might fulfill your deficiency of ministry towards me.
