लूक 24
1 १ आठवड्याच्या पहिल्या दिवशी त्या स्त्रिया अगदी पहाटेस कबरेकडे आल्या आणि त्यांनी स्वतः तयार केलेले सुगंधी मसाले आणले.
but, on the first day of the week, at early dawn, unto the tomb, came they, bringing the spices which they had prepared.
And they found the stone, rolled away from the tomb;
but, when they entered, they found not the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 ४ यामुळे त्या अवाक झाल्या असतानाच, अचानक लखलखीत कपडे घातलेले दोन पुरूष त्यांच्या बाजूला उभे राहिले.
And it came to pass, while they were perplexing themselves concerning this, that lo! two men, stood near them, in dazzling raiment.
5 ५ तेव्हा अतिशय भयभीत होऊन त्यांनी आपले चेहरे जमिनीकडे केली असता ते त्यांना म्हणाले, जो जिवंत आहे त्याचा शोध तुम्ही मरण पावलेल्यांमध्ये का करता?
And, they becoming afraid, and bending their faces unto the ground, they said unto them—Why seek ye the Living One with the dead?
He is not here, but hath arisen: Remember how he spake unto you while yet he was in Galilee:
7 ७ ते असे की, “मनुष्याच्या पुत्राला धरुन पापी लोकांच्या हाती द्यावे, त्यास वधस्तंभावर खिळावे आणि तिसऱ्या दिवशी त्याने उठावे.”
Saying, as to the Son of Man, that he must needs be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, —and, on the third day, arise.
And they remembered his sayings;
9 ९ त्या कबरेपासून परतल्या आणि त्यांनी या सर्व गोष्टींचे वर्तमान अकरा प्रेषितांना व इतर सर्वांना सांगितले.
and, returning [from the tomb], reported all these things unto the eleven, and unto all the rest.
10 १० त्या स्त्रिया मग्दालीया नगराची मरीया, योहान्ना आणि याकोबाची आई मरीया या होत्या. त्या आणि इतर स्त्रियांसुद्धा ज्या त्यांच्याबरोबर होत्या, प्रेषितांना या गोष्टी सांगत होत्या.
Now they were the Magdalene Mary, and Joana, and Mary the mother of James; and, the other women with them, were telling, unto the apostles, these things.
And these sayings appeared before them, as if idle talk, and they were minded to disbelieve them.
12 १२ पण पेत्र उठला आणि कबरेकडे पळाला. त्याने खाली वाकून पाहिले पण त्यास तागाच्या गुंडाळण्याच्या वस्त्राशिवाय काही आढळले नाही. जे घडले त्याविषयी तो स्वतःशीच आश्चर्य करीत दूर गेला.
But, Peter, arising, ran unto the tomb, —and, bending near, beholdeth the linen bandages, alone; and departed, unto himself, marvelling at the thing that had happened.
13 १३ त्याच दिवशी त्याच्यातील दोघे शिष्य यरूशलेम शहरापासून सुमारे अकरा किलोमीटर अंतरावर असलेल्या अम्माऊस नावाच्या गावाला चालले होते.
And lo! two from among them, on the selfsame day, were journeying unto a village, distant sixty furlongs from Jerusalem, the name of which, was Emmaus;
and, they, were conversing one with another, about all these things which had occurred.
15 १५ ते बोलत असताना आणि या गोष्टींची चर्चा करीत असताना येशू स्वतः आला आणि त्यांच्याबरोबर चालू लागला.
And it came to pass, as they were conversing and reasoning together, that, Jesus himself, drawing near, was journeying with them;
but, their eyes, were held, so as not to know him.
17 १७ येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “चालत असताना तुम्ही एकमेकांबरोबर बोलत आहात त्या गोष्टी कोणत्या आहेत?” चालता चालता ते थांबले. ते अतिशय दुःखी दिसले.
And he said unto them—What are these things which ye are debating one with another, as ye walk along? And they came to a stand, sad in countenance.
18 १८ त्यांच्यातील एकजण ज्याचे नाव क्लयपा होते, तो त्यास म्हणाला, “या दिवसांमध्ये घडलेल्या गोष्टी माहीत नसलेले असे यरूशलेम शहरात राहणारे तुम्ही एकटेच आहात काय?”
But one, by name Cleopas, answering, said unto him—Art, thou, lodging, alone, in Jerusalem, and knowest not the things which have come to pass therein in these days?
19 १९ येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “तुमच्या मते कोणत्या गोष्टी?” ते त्यास म्हणाले, “नासरेथकर येशूविषयीच्या सर्व गोष्टी. हाच तो मनुष्य जो आपल्या कृत्यांनी आणि शब्दांनी देवासमोर आणि मनुष्यांसमोर एक महान संदेष्टा झाला.
And he said unto them—What things? And, they, said unto him—The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who became a prophet, mighty in work and word, before God and all the people:
20 २० आणि आम्ही चर्चा करीत होतो की, कसे आमच्या मुख्य याजकांनी आणि अधिकाऱ्यांनी त्यास मरणदंड भोगण्यासाठी स्वाधीन केले आणि त्यांनी त्यास वधस्तंभी खिळले.
In what way also our High-priests and Rulers delivered him up unto a sentence of death, and crucified him.
21 २१ आम्ही अशी आशा केली होती की, तोच एक आहे जो इस्राएलाची मुक्तता करील आणि या सगळ्याशिवाय हे सर्व घडून गेलेल्या गोष्टीला आज तीन दिवस झालेत.
We, however, were hoping that, he, was the one destined to redeem Israel! But indeed, even with all these things, this brings on, the third, day, since these things happened: —
22 २२ आणि आमच्या परिवारातील काही स्त्रियांनी आम्हास आश्चर्यचकित केले आहे. आज अगदी पहाटे त्या कबरेकडे गेल्या,
Nay! certain women also, from amongst us, have made us beside ourselves, in that they went early unto the tomb;
23 २३ परंतु त्यांना त्याचे शरीर सापडले नाही. त्यांनी येऊन आम्हास सांगितले की, त्यांना देवदूतांचे दर्शन झाले आणि देवदूतांनी सांगितले की, तो जिवंत आहे.
and, not finding his body, came, saying—that, a vision of messengers, they had seen, who were affirming him to be alive.
24 २४ तेव्हा आमच्यातील काही कबरेकडे गेले आणि स्त्रियांनी जसे सांगितले होते, तसेच त्यांना आढळले, पण त्यांनी त्यास पाहिले नाही.”
And certain of them who were with us departed unto the tomb, —and found so, according as, the women, had said; but, him, they saw not.
25 २५ मग येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “संदेष्ट्यांनी सांगितलेल्या सर्व गोष्टींवर विश्वास ठेवण्यास तुम्ही अति मूर्ख आणि मंद आहात.
And, he, said unto them—O thoughtless ones! and slow in heart to rest your faith upon all things which the prophets have spoken: —
Was it not needful for the Christ, these very things, to suffer, and to enter into his glory?
27 २७ आणि म्हणून त्याने मोशेपासून सुरुवात करून आणि सर्व संदेष्टयापर्यंत सांगून, शास्त्रलेखात त्याच्याविषयी काय लिहिले आहे ते सर्व त्याने त्यांना स्पष्ट करून सांगितले.
And, beginning from Moses, and from all the prophets, he thoroughly explained to them, in all the Scriptures, the things concerning himself.
28 २८ ज्या खेड्याकडे ते जात होते, त्याच्याजवळ ते आले आणि येशूने असा बहाणा केला की, जणू काय तो पुढे जाणार आहे.
And they drew near unto the village, whither they were journeying; and, he, made for journeying, further.
29 २९ परंतु जास्त आग्रह करून ते म्हणाले, “आमच्याबरोबर राहा कारण संध्याकाळ झालीच आहे आणि दिवसही मावळला आहे.” मग तो त्यांच्याबरोबर रहावयास आत गेला.
And they constrained him, saying—Abide with us; because it is, towards evening, and the day hath already declined. And he went in to abide with them.
30 ३० जेव्हा तो त्यांच्याबरोबर जेवायला मेजासभोवती बसला, त्याने भाकर घेतली आणि उपकार मानले. नंतर त्याने ती मोडली व ती त्यांना तो देऊ लागला.
And it came to pass, when he reclined with them, taking the loaf, he blessed, and, breaking it, went on to give unto them.
And, their, eyes were opened, and they knew him; and, he, vanished from them.
32 ३२ मग ते एकमेकांना म्हणू लागले, “तो वाटेवर आपणाशी बोलत असताना व शास्त्रलेखाचा उलगडा करीत होता तेव्हा आपल्या अंतःकरणाला आतल्या आत उकळी येत नव्हती काय?”
And they said one to another—Was not, our heart, burning, as he was speaking to us in the way, as he was opening to us the Scriptures?
33 ३३ मग ते लगेच उठले व यरूशलेम शहरास परत गेले. तेव्हा त्यांना अकरा प्रेषित व त्यांच्याबरोबर असलेले इतर एकत्र जमलेले आढळले.
And, arising in that very hour, they returned unto Jerusalem, —and found, gathered together, the eleven, and them who were with them,
saying—In truth, the Lord hath arisen, and hath appeared unto Simon!
35 ३५ नंतर त्या दोन शिष्यांनी वाटेत काय घडले ते त्यांना सांगितले आणि तो भाकर मोडत असताना त्यांनी त्यास कसे ओळखले ते सांगितले.
And, they, went on to relate the things, [that had passed] on the journey, and how he was made known unto them in the breaking of the loaf.
36 ३६ ते या गोष्टी त्यांना सांगत असतानाच येशू त्यांच्यामध्ये उभा राहिला आणि त्यास म्हणाला, “तुम्हास शांती असो.”
Now, as, these very things, they were telling, he himself, stood in their midst and saith unto them—Peace to you!
But, being agitated and becoming, afraid, they began to imagine, that, upon a spirit, they were looking.
And he said unto them—Why are ye troubled? and for what cause do reasonings arise in your hearts?
39 ३९ माझे हात व पाय पाहा तुम्हास मी दिसतो तोच मी आहे. मला स्पर्श करा आणि पाहा की, मला आहे तसे हाडमांस भूताला नसते.”
See my hands, and my feet, —that it is, I, myself: Handle me, and see! because, a spirit, hath not, flesh and bones, as ye perceive, I, have.
And, this saying, he pointed out to them his hands and his feet.
41 ४१ तरी आनंदामुळे विश्वास न धरता आश्चर्यचकित झाले तेव्हा येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “येथे तुमच्याजवळ खाण्यासाठी काय आहे?”
Now, while yet they believed not for the joy, and were marvelling, he said unto them—Have ye anything to eat, here?
And they gave unto him a piece of boiled fish;
and, taking it before them, he did eat.
44 ४४ तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “याच त्या गोष्टी ज्या मी तुम्हाबरोबर असताना सांगितल्या होत्या की, मोशेचे नियमशास्त्र, संदेष्टे आणि स्तोत्रे यामध्ये माझ्याविषयी जे सांगितले आहे ते सर्व पूर्ण झालेच पाहिजे.”
And he said unto them—These, are my words, which I spake unto you yet being with you: That all the things that are written in the law of Moses and the Prophets and Psalms, concerning me, must needs be fulfilled.
Then, opened he their mind, to understand the Scriptures;
46 ४६ मग तो त्यांना म्हणाला, “पवित्र शास्त्रात असे लिहिले आहे की, ख्रिस्ताने दुःख भोगावे आणि मरण पावलेल्यातून तिसऱ्या दिवशी उठावे,
and said unto them—Thus, it is written, That the Christ, should suffer, and arise from among the dead on the third day;
47 ४७ आणि यरूशलेम शहरापासून आरंभ करून सर्व राष्ट्रास त्याच्या नावाने पश्चात्ताप व पापांची क्षमा घोषित करण्यात यावी.
And that repentance for remission of sins should be proclaimed upon his name unto all the nations, —beginning from Jerusalem.
Ye, are witnesses of these things.
49 ४९ पाहा, माझ्या पित्याने देऊ केलेली देणगी मी तुमच्याकडे पाठवतो; तुम्ही स्वर्गीय सामर्थ्याने युक्त व्हाल तोपर्यंत या शहरात राहा.”
And lo! I, am sending forth the promise of my Father upon you; but tarry, ye, in the city, until ye be clothed, from on high, with power.
And he led them forth as far as unto Bethany; and, uplifting his hands, he blessed them.
And it came to pass, while he was blessing them, he parted from them and was born up into heaven.
And, they, having bowed down unto him returned unto Jerusalem, with great joy;
and were continually in the temple, blessing God.
