लूक 12
1 १ आणि त्यादरम्यान हजारो लोकांचा समुदाय जमला होता आणि एवढा की ते एकमेकांना तुडवू लागले, तेव्हा येशू प्रथम आपल्या शिष्यांशी बोललाः “परूश्यांच्या खमिराविषयी जपा, म्हणजे त्यांच्या ढोंगाविषयी जपा.
AND when (there) had gathered (by) myriads great assemblies, so that they would have trodden upon one another, Jeshu began to say to his disciples, Beware for yourselves before all things of the leaven of the Pharishee, which is hypocrisy.
For nothing is hidden which shall not be revealed, and nothing secreted which shall not be made known.
3 ३ म्हणून तुम्ही जे काही अंधारात बोलाल ते उजेडात ऐकले जाईल आणि तुम्ही कोणाच्या कानात जे काही एकांतात सांगाल ते घराच्या छतावरुन घोषित केले जाईल.”
For all that you say in darknesses in the light shall be heard, and what you whisper in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed on the housetops.
4 ४ “परंतु माझ्या मित्रांनो, मी तुम्हास सांगतो, जे शरीराला मारतात त्यांना तुम्ही भिऊ नका, कारण त्यानंतर त्यापेक्षा जास्त त्यांना काही करता येत नाही.
But I say to you, my beloved ones, Fear not them who kill the body, and who afterward can do nothing more;
5 ५ तुम्ही कोणाची भीती बाळगावी हे मी तुम्हास सांगतो. तुम्हास ठार मारल्या यानंतर तुम्हास नरकात टाकून देण्यास ज्याला अधिकार आहे, त्याची भीती धरा. होय, मी तुम्हास सांगतो, त्याचेच भय धरा. (Geenna g1067)
but I will show you whom you shall fear; Him who, after he hath killed, hath power to cast into gihana, yes, I say to you, Fear this (one). (Geenna g1067)
Are not five sparrows sold for two asorin; and one of them is not forgotten before Aloha.
7 ७ पण तुमच्या डोक्यावरील सर्व केसदेखील त्याने मोजलेले आहेत. भिऊ नका. पुष्कळ चिमण्यांपेक्षा तुमचे मूल्य जास्त आहे.
But of you, the numbers of the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; than many sparrows more precious are you.
8 ८ जो मला इतर लोकांसमोर स्वीकारतो, त्या प्रत्येक मनुष्यास देवाच्या दूतासमोर मनुष्याचा पुत्रही स्वीकारील.
But I tell you that every one who shall confess me before men, the Son of man will also confess him before the angels of Aloha.
But he who denieth me before men, I will deny him before the angels of Aloha.
10 १० प्रत्येक मनुष्य जो मनुष्याच्या पुत्राविरुद्ध बोलतो, त्यास क्षमा केली जाईल. परंतु जो पवित्र आत्म्याविरुद्ध दुर्भाषण करतो त्यास क्षमा केली जाणार नाही.
And every one who shall speak a word against the Son of man, it may be forgiven him; but whoever against the Spirit of Holiness shall blaspheme, it shall not be forgiven him.
11 ११ जेव्हा ते तुम्हास सभास्थाने, राज्यकर्ते व अधिकारी यांच्यासमोर धरुन आणतील तेव्हा तुम्ही काय बोलावे किंवा स्वतःचा बचाव कसा करावा याविषयी आधीच चिंता करीत बसू नका.
And when they bring you into the synagogues, before heads and authorities, be not anxious how you shall express yourselves, or what you shall say;
for the Spirit of Holiness will teach you in that hour what you ought to say.
13 १३ नंतर लोकसमुदायातील एकजण त्यास म्हणाला, “गुरुजी, माझ्या भावाला वतन विभागून माझे मला द्यायला सांगा!”
AND a man from the assembly said to him, Malphona, tell my brother to divide with me the inheritance.
But Jeshu said to him, Man, who established me over you a judge and a divider?
15 १५ मग येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “सांभाळा आणि सर्व प्रकारच्या लोभापासून स्वतःला दूर ठेवा कारण जेव्हा एखाद्या मनुष्याजवळ त्याच्या गरजेपेक्षा अधिक असते तेव्हा ती संपत्ती त्याचे जीवन होत असे नाही.”
And he said to his disciples, Beware of all avarice: for life is not in the abundance of riches.
And he spake a parable to them: The ground of a certain rich man produced him much provisions.
And he thought within himself, and said, What shall I do? for I have not where to collect my provisions.
18 १८ मग तो असे म्हणाला, ‘मी आता असे करतो, मी माझी धान्याची कोठारे पाडून मोठी बांधीतो, मी माझे सर्व धान्य व माल तेथे साठवीन’
And he said, This will I do: I will destroy my house of stores, and will build and enlarge it; and there will I collect all my provender and my good things:
19 १९ आणि मी माझ्या जीवाला म्हणेन, ‘हे जीवा, आता तुझ्यासाठी अनेक वर्षे पुरतील अशा पुष्कळ चांगल्या गोष्टी साठवून ठेवलेल्या आहेत. आराम कर, खा, पी आणि मजा कर.’
and I will say to my soul, My soul, thou hast many good things laid up for many years: be at ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
But Aloha said to him, Reasonless (man)! this night thy soul they shall require of thee; and then, (the things) which thou hast prepared,
21 २१ जो कोणी स्वतःसाठी संपत्ती जमा करतो परंतु देवाच्या दृष्टीने जो धनवान नाही, अशा मनुष्यासारखे हे आहे.”
whose shall they be? So is he who layeth up to himself treasures, and towards Aloha is not rich.
22 २२ मग येशू त्याच्या शिष्यांना म्हणाला, “म्हणून मी तुम्हास सांगतो, स्वतःच्या जीवनाविषयी किंवा तुम्ही काय खावे याविषयी चिंता करू नका. किंवा तुमच्या शरीराविषयी म्हणजे कोणते कपडे घालावेत याविषयी चिंता करू नका.
And he said to his disciples, Therefore I tell you, Be not anxious for yourselves, what you shall eat; neither for the body, how you shall dress:
for the soul is more precious than food, and the body than raiment.
24 २४ कावळ्यांचा विचार करा ते पेरीत नाहीत व कापणीही करीत नाहीत. त्यांना कोठार नाही व कणगीही नाही. तरीही देव त्याचे पोषण करतो. पक्ष्यांपेक्षा तुम्ही कितीतरी मौल्यवान आहात!
Consider the ravens, which sow not nor reap, which have no chambers or barns, yet Aloha feeds them. How much, therefore, are you better than the fowls!
And which of you by being anxious could add to his stature one cubit?
But if indeed you are not capable of (that which is) the least, why concerning the rest are you anxious?
27 २७ रानफुले कशी वाढतात याचा विचार करा. ती कष्ट करीत नाहीत व कातीत नाहीत. तरी मी तुम्हास सांगतो, शलमोनदेखील आपल्या सर्व वैभवात त्यांच्यातील एकासारखाही सजला नव्हता.
Consider the lilies, how they grow, which toil not nor spin; but I tell you that even Shelemun in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
28 २८ तर, जे आज आहे व उद्या भट्टीत टाकले जाईल अशा त्या रानातील गवताला देवाने असा पोशाख घातला आहे, तर तुम्ही जे अल्पविश्वासू त्या तुम्हास तो कितीतरी अधिक चांगला पोशाख घालणार नाही काय!
But if the herbage, which today is in the field, and to-morrow is cast into the furnace, Aloha thus clothes, how much more you, little in faith!
And seek you not what you shall eat, and what you shall drink; nor let your mind be distracted for these:
30 ३० कारण परराष्ट्री हे मिळविण्याची खटपट करतात पण या गोष्टींची तुम्हास गरज आहे, हे तुमच्या स्वर्गीय पित्याला माहीत आहे.
for all these the nations of the world seek; but to you also your Father knoweth that these are needful.
But seek the kingdom of Aloha, and these all shall be added to you.
FEAR not, little flock; for your Father hath willed to give you the kingdom.
33 ३३ तुमची मालमत्ता विका आणि गरिबांमध्ये वाटा. जुन्या न होणाऱ्या व न झिजणाऱ्या अशा थैल्या स्वतःसाठी स्वर्गात बनवा. तेथे चोरही जाऊ शकणार नाही व कसरही त्याचा नाश करणार नाही.
Sell your substance, and give alms: make to you bags which become not old, and a treasure which is not transient, in the heavens, where the thief does not approach, and the moth destroys not.
For where your treasure is, there will be also your heart.
Let your loins be bound, and your lamps be burning,
36 ३६ लग्नाच्या मेजवानीवरुन परतणाऱ्या मालकाची वाट पाहणाऱ्या लोकांसारखे व्हा जेणेकरून, तो परत येतो व दरवाजा ठोकावतो तेव्हा त्याच्यासाठी त्यांनी ताबडतोब दरवाजा उघडावा.
and be you like men who wait for their lord, when he shall return from the place of festivity, that, when he hath come and knocked, immediately they may open to him.
37 ३७ मालक परत आल्यावर जे नोकर त्यास जागे व तयारीत असलेले आढळतील ते धन्य. मी तुम्हास खरे सांगतो, तो स्वतः त्यांची सेवा करण्यासाठी कंबर कसेल, त्यांना मेजावर बसायला सांगून त्यांची सेवा करील.
Blessed those servants who, when their lord shall come, shall be found watching. Amen I tell you, He will gird his loins, and make them recline, and will come over and serve them.
And if in the second or the third watch he shall come and find them thus, blessed will be those servants.
39 ३९ परंतु याविषयी खात्री बाळगा; चोर केव्हा येणार हे जर घराच्या मालकाला माहीत असते तर त्याने आपले घर त्यास फोडू दिले नसते.
But this know, that if the lord of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have permitted his house to be dug through.
Also you, be you therefore ready: for, in that hour that you think not, cometh the Son of man.
Shemun Kipha said to him, Our Lord, to us speakest thou this parable, or to all men also?
42 ४२ तेव्हा प्रभू म्हणाला, “प्रभू त्याच्या इतर नोकरांना त्यांचे धान्य योग्यवेळी देण्यासाठी ज्याची नेमणूक करील असा व विश्वासू कारभारी कोण आहे?
Jeshu said to him, Who then is that steward, faithful and wise, whom his lord hath established over his service, to give the portion in its time?
Blessed that servant whom, when his lord shall come, he shall find so doing.
Assuredly I tell you, He will establish him over all his substance.
45 ४५ पण जर तो नोकर मनात म्हणतो, ‘माझा मालक येण्यास फार उशीर करत आहे,’ आणि मग तो त्याच्या स्त्री व पुरूष नोकरांना मारहाण करायला व खाण्यापिण्यास सुरुवात करतो व झिंगतो,
But if that servant shall say in his heart, My lord withholdeth to come, and shall begin to beat the servants and the handmaids of his lord, and shall begin to eat and to drink and be drunken;
46 ४६ तर तो नोकर वाट पाहत नाही त्यादिवशी आणि त्यास माहीत नाही तेव्हा त्याचा मालक येईल व त्यास कापून त्याचे तुकडे करील आणि अविश्वासू लोकांबरोबर त्याचा वाटा ठेवील.
the lord of that servant will come in a day when he thinketh not, and in an hour which he knoweth not; and shall sunder him, and set him his portion with those who are not faithful.
47 ४७ आपल्या मालकाची इच्छा माहीत असूनही जो नोकर तयार राहत नाही किंवा जो आपल्या मालकाच्या इच्छेप्रमाणे करीत नाही, त्या नोकराला खूप मार मिळेल.
And that servant who knew the will of his lord, and prepared not himself according to his will, shall be beaten with many
48 ४८ परंतु ज्याला माहीती नव्हते म्हणून त्याने मालकाला न आवडणारे असे कृत्य जर नोकराने केले असेल तर त्यास कमी मार बसेल. ज्या कोणाला पुष्कळ दिले आहे त्याच्याकडून पुष्कळाची अपेक्षा केली जाईल. ज्यांच्याजवळ जास्त ठेवले आहे त्यांच्याकडून जास्त मागितले जाईल.”
But he who knew not, and did that which was worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For every one to whom much is given, much will be required from him; and to whom much is committed, the more will they require at his hand.
FIRE have I come to send forth upon the earth, and I would that it already burned:
and I have a baptism (wherewith) to be baptized, and greatly am I pressed till it be completed.
51 ५१ मी पृथ्वीवर शांतता प्रस्थापित करण्यास आलो आहे, असे तुम्हास वाटते का? नाही, मी तुम्हास सांगतो, मी तुमच्यात फूट पाडण्यासाठी आलो आहे.
Suppose you that peace I have come to send forth on the earth? I tell you, not (peace), but divisions.
52 ५२ मी असे म्हणतो कारण आतापासून घरातील पाच जणात एकमेकांविरुद्ध फूट पडेल. तिघे दोघांविरुद्ध व दोघे तिघांविरुद्ध अशी फूट पडेल.
For from henceforth there will be five in one house, who (will be) divided, three against two, and two against three.
53 ५३ त्यांच्यात पित्याविरुद्ध मुलगा व मुलाविरुद्ध पिता अशी फूट पडेल, आईविरुद्ध मुलगी व मुलीविरुद्ध आई अशी फूट पडेल, सासूविरुद्ध सून व सुनेविरुद्ध सासू अशी त्यांच्यात फूट पडेल.
For the father will be divided against his son, and the son against his father; the mother against her daughter, and the daughter against her mother; the mother-in-law against the daughter-in-law and the daughter-in-law against the mother-in-law.
54 ५४ तो लोकसमुदायाला म्हणाला, जेव्हा पश्चिमेकडून ढग येताना पाहता तेव्हा तुम्ही लगेच म्हणता की, पाऊस पडेल आणि तसेच घडते.
And he said to the assembly, When you see a cloud arisen from the west, immediately you say, The rain cometh; and it is so:
and when bloweth the south, you say, It becomes heat; and it is so.
56 ५६ अहो ढोंग्यांनो! तुम्हास पृथ्वीवरील व आकाशातील चिन्हांची लक्षणे पारखता येतात, पण सध्याच्या काळाचा अर्थ तुम्हास का काढता येत नाही काय?
You hypocrites, the aspect of the sky and of the earth you know to distinguish; but this Time how do you not distinguish?
But why of yourselves judge you not the truth?
58 ५८ तुम्ही तुमच्या वाद्याबरोबर न्यायालयात जात असता वाटेतच त्यांच्याशी समेट करा नाही तर तो तुम्हास न्यायाधीशासमोर नेईल आणि न्यायाधीश तुम्हास दंडाधिकाऱ्याच्या स्वाधीन करील आणि अधिकारी तुम्हास तुरुंगात टाकील.
When thou art going with thine adversary to the magistrate, while in the way, negotiate, and be freed from him; lest he bring thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the exactor, and the exactor cast thee into the house of the bound;
and Amen I tell thee, Thou wilt not be delivered from thence till thou shalt have given the last shomona.
