योहान 4
1 १ येशू योहानापेक्षा अधिक शिष्य करून त्यांचा बाप्तिस्मा करीत आहे हे परूश्यांच्या कानी गेले आहे असे जेव्हा प्रभूला कळले.
Thus when the Lord knew when the Pharisees heard that Jesus is making and baptizing more disciples than John
(truly Jesus himself was not baptizing, but His disciples),
He left Judea and came again into Galilee.
And it behooved Him to go through Samaria.
5 ५ मग तो शोमरोन प्रांतातील सूखार नावाच्या नगरास आला. ते याकोबाने आपला मुलगा योसेफ याला दिलेल्या शेताजवळ होते.
Then He comes into a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near the place which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 ६ तेथे याकोबाची विहीर होती. म्हणून प्रवासाने दमलेला येशू तसाच त्या विहिरीजवळ बसला, तेव्हा सुमारे दुपारचे बारा वाजले होते.
And the well of Jacob was there. Then Jesus having become weary from the journey, was sitting thus by the well: it was about the sixth hour.
A woman comes from Samaria to draw water. Jesus says to her, Give me to drink.
For His disciples had gone into the city, that they might purchase food.
9 ९ तेव्हा ती शोमरोनी स्त्री त्यास म्हणाली, “आपण यहूदी असून माझ्यासारख्या एका शोमरोनी स्त्रीजवळ प्यायला पाणी मागता हे कसे?” कारण यहूदी शोमरोनी लोकांबरोबर कोणतेही व्यवहारीक संबंध ठेवत नव्हते.
A Samaritan woman says to Him, How do you, being a Jew, ask to drink from me, being a Samaritan woman?
10 १० येशूने तिला उत्तर दिले, “देवाचे दान म्हणजे काय आणि मला प्यायला दे असे तुला म्हणणारा कोण आहे, हे तुला समजले असते तर तू त्याच्याजवळ मागितले असतेस आणि त्याने तुला जिवंत पाणी दिले असते.”
And Jesus responded and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and the one who is speaking to you, Give me to drink; you would have asked him, and he would have given you living water.
11 ११ ती स्त्री त्यास म्हणाली, “साहेब, पाणी काढायला आपल्याजवळ काही नाही व विहीर तर खोल आहे, मग आपल्याजवळ ते जिवंत पाणी कोठून?
The woman says to Him, Sir, thou hast no windlass, and the well is deep: whence hast thou living water?
12 १२ आमचा पूर्वज याकोब याने ही विहीर आम्हास दिली, तो स्वतः, त्याचे पुत्र व त्याची गुरेढोरे हिचे पाणी पीत असत. त्याच्यापेक्षा आपण मोठे आहात काय?”
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and himself and his sons, and his herds, drank of it?
Jesus responded and said to her, Every one drinking of this water shall thirst again:
15 १५ ती स्त्री त्यास म्हणाली, “साहेब, मला तहान लागू नये व पाणी काढायला मला येथवर येणे भाग पडू नये म्हणून ते पाणी मला द्या.”
Then the woman says to Him, Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come hither to draw.
He says to her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
The woman responded and said, I have no husband. Jesus says to her, Well didst thou say, I have no husband:
for thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: thou hast spoken this truly.
The woman says to Him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20 २० आमच्या पूर्वजांनी याच डोंगरावर उपासना केली आणि तुम्ही म्हणता की, जिथे उपासना केली पाहिजे ते स्थान यरूशलेम शहरात आहे.”
Our fathers worshiped in this mountain; and you say, that in Jerusalem is the place where it behooveth to worship.
21 २१ येशू तिला म्हणाला, “मुली, माझ्यावर विश्वास ठेव की अशी घटका येत आहे; तुम्ही या डोंगरावर किव्हा यरूशलेम शहरात पित्याची उपासना करणार नाही,
Jesus says to her, Believe me, woman, that the hour cometh, you will worship the Father neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem.
22 २२ तुम्ही ज्याला ओळखीत नाही अशाची उपासना करता; आम्हास ठाऊक आहे अशाची उपासना आम्ही करतो, कारण यहूद्यांतूनच तारण आहे.
You worship, you know not what: we worship that which we know: because salvation is of the Jews.
23 २३ तरी खरे उपासक आत्म्याने व खरेपणाने स्वर्गीय पित्याची उपासना करतील अशी वेळ येत आहे, किंबहुना आलीच आहे; कारण आपले उपासक असेच असावेत, अशी पित्याची इच्छा आहे.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such worshiping Him.
God is a Spirit, and it behooveth those who worship Him to worship in spirit and in truth.
25 २५ ती स्त्री त्यास म्हणाली, “मी जाणते की, मसीहा ज्याला ख्रिस्त म्हणतात तो येणार आहे, हे मला माहित आहे. तो येईल तेव्हा तो सर्व गोष्टी सांगेल.”
The woman says to Him, I know that Messiah cometh (who is called Christ): when He may come, He will proclaim to us all things.
Jesus says to her, I who speak to thee am He.
27 २७ इतक्यात त्याचे शिष्य आले आणि तो एका स्त्रीबरोबर बोलत आहे याचे त्यांना आश्चर्य वाटले, तरी कोणी असे म्हणले नाही की, “आपण काय विचारत आहात?” किंवा “आपण तिच्याशी का बोलत आहात?”
And at this time His disciples came, and were wondering because He was speaking with the woman; no one said, What seekest thou? or, Why do you speak with her?
Then the woman left her waterpot, and went away into the city, and says to the men,
Come hither, see the man who told me all things which I did: Is not He the Christ?
They came out from the city, and came to Him.
Meanwhile His disciples were asking Him, saying, Master eat.
He said to them, I have meat to eat, which you know not.
Then His disciples were speaking to one another, Whether has any one brought Him something to eat?
34 ३४ येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “ज्याने मला पाठवले त्याच्या इच्छेप्रमाणे करावे व त्याचे कार्य सिद्धीस न्यावे हेच माझे अन्न आहे.
Jesus says to them, My food is that I may do the will of Him that sent me, and finish His work.
35 ३५ अजून चार महिन्यांचा अवकाश आहे, मग कापणी येईल, असे तुम्ही म्हणता की नाही? पाहा, मी तुम्हास म्हणतो, आपली नजर वर करून शेते पाहा; ती कापणीसाठी पांढरी होऊन चुकली आहेत.
Do you not say, That it is yet four months, and the harvest cometh? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes and see the fields, because they are white unto the harvest
36 ३६ कापणारा मजुरी मिळवतो व सार्वकालिक जीवनासाठी पीक गोळा करतो; यासाठी की पेरणाऱ्याने व कापणी करणाऱ्यानेही एकत्र आनंद करावा. (aiōnios g166)
already. He that reapeth receiveth reward, and gathereth fruit unto eternal life; in order that both the sower and the reaper may rejoice together. (aiōnios g166)
For in this the word is true, that there is one sowing, and another reaping.
38 ३८ ज्यासाठी तुम्ही कष्ट केले नाहीत ते कापायला मी तुम्हास पाठवले. दुसर्‍यांनी कष्ट केले होते व तुम्ही त्यांच्या कष्टात वाटेकरी झालेले आहात.”
I have sent you to reap that upon which you have never labored: others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.
39 ३९ “मी केलेले सर्वकाही त्याने मला सांगितले” अशी साक्ष देणाऱ्या त्या स्त्रीच्या बोलण्यावरून त्या नगरातल्या पुष्कळ शोमरोनी लोकांनी त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेवला.
But many of the Samaritans from that city believed on Him through the word of the woman, testifying that, He told me all things which I did. Then when the Samaritans came to Him they asked Him to abide with them:
40 ४० म्हणून शोमरोनी त्याच्याकडे आल्यावर, त्यांनी त्यास आपल्याबरोबर रहायची विनंती केली; मग तो तेथे दोन दिवस राहिला.
and He remained there two days:
and many more believed on Him through His word;
42 ४२ आणि ते त्या स्त्रीला म्हणाले, “आता तुझ्या बोलण्यावरूनच आम्ही विश्वास धरतो असे नाही, कारण आम्ही स्वतः ऐकले आहे व हा खरोखर जगाचा तारणारा आहे, हे आम्हास समजले आहे.”
and they continued to say to the woman, We no longer believe through your talk; for we have heard and we know that He is truly the Savior of the world.
And after two days He departed thence into Galilee.
And Jesus Himself witnessed, that a prophet has no honor in his own country.
45 ४५ म्हणून तो गालील प्रांतात आल्यावर गालीलकरांनी त्याचे स्वागत केले; कारण त्याने सणात यरूशलेम शहरात केलेल्या सर्व गोष्टी त्यांनी पाहिल्या होत्या; कारण तेही सणाला गेले होते.
And when He came into Galilee, Galileans received Him, having seen all things which He did in Jerusalem at the feast: for they also came to the feast.
46 ४६ नंतर तो गालील प्रांतातील काना नगरात पुन्हा आला. तेथे त्याने पाण्याचा द्राक्षरस केला होता. त्या स्थळी कोणीएक अंमलदार होता, त्याचा मुलगा कफर्णहूमात आजारी होता.
Then He came again into Cana of Galilee, where He turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royalist, whose son was sick in Capernaum;
47 ४७ येशू यहूदीया प्रांतातून गालील प्रांतात आला आहे हे ऐकून तो त्याच्याकडे गेला आणि त्याने खाली येऊन आपल्या मुलाला बरे करावे अशी त्याने विनंती केली कारण तो मरायला टेकला होता.
he having heard that Jesus has come out of Judea into Galilee, came away to Him, and continued to ask Him that He may come down and heal his son; for He was about to die.
Then Jesus said to him, Unless you may see signs and wonders, you can not believe.
The nobleman says to Him, Lord, come down before my little child dies.
50 ५० येशू त्यास म्हणाला, “जा, तुमचा मुलगा वाचला आहे.” तेव्हा तो मनुष्य, त्यास येशूने म्हटलेल्या वचनावर विश्वास ठेवून, आपल्या मार्गाने निघून गेला.
Jesus says to him, Go; thy son liveth. The man believed the word which Jesus spoke to him, and departed.
And he already coming down, the servants met him, and reported, that the child lives.
52 ५२ तेव्हा केव्हापासून त्याच्यात सुधारणा होऊ लागली म्हणून त्याने त्यांना प्रश्न केला आणि ते त्यास म्हणाले, “काल, दुपारी एक वाजता त्याचा ताप गेला.”
Then he inquired the hour at which he began to improve; and they said to him, The fever left him at the seventh hour yesterday.
53 ५३ यावरुन ज्या ताशी येशूने त्यास सांगितले होते की, “तुमचा मुलगा वाचला आहे,” त्याच ताशी हे झाले असे पित्याने ओळखले आणि त्याने स्वतः व त्याच्या सर्व घराण्याने विश्वास ठेवला.
Then the father knew that it was at that hour at which Jesus said to him, Thy son liveth: and he and all his house believed.
Jesus, having again come out of Judea into Galilee, wrought this second miracle.
