यशया 66
1 १ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “आकाश माझे सिंहासन आणि पृथ्वी पाय ठेवण्याचे आसन आहे. मग तुम्ही माझ्यासाठी कोठे घर बांधाल? मला विश्रांतीची जागा कुठे आहे?”
This is what Yahweh says, “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where then is the house you will build for me? Where is the place where I may rest?
2 २ “सर्व गोष्टी माझ्या हाताने निर्माण केल्या, या प्रकारे गोष्टी घडल्या आहेत.” परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो. “पण जो दीन व अनुतापी आत्म्याचा आहे, आणि माझ्या वचनाने थरथर कापतो अशा मनुष्यास मी मान्य करतो.”
My hand has made all these things; that is how these things came to be—this is Yahweh's declaration. This is the man of whom I approve, the broken and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at my word.
3 ३ जो यज्ञासाठी बैल कापतो तो मनुष्यघातकासारखा आहे, जो कोकऱ्याचा यज्ञ करतो तो कुत्र्याची मान तोडणाऱ्यासारखा आहे. जो अन्नार्पण अर्पितो तो डुकराचे रक्त अर्पणारा असा आहे, जो धूप जाळतो तो मूर्तीची स्तुती करणारा असा आहे, त्यांनी स्वत: आपले मार्ग निवडले आहेत आणि त्यांचा जीव त्याच्या अमंगळ पदार्थाच्या ठायी संतोष पावतो.
He who slaughters an ox also murders a man; he who sacrifices a lamb also breaks a dog's neck; he who offers a grain offering offers swine's blood; he who offers a memorial of incense also blesses wickedness. They have chosen their own ways, and they take pleasure in their abominations.
4 ४ अशाच प्रकारे मी त्यांची शिक्षा निवडेन. ते ज्या गोष्टींना फार भितात तिच त्यांच्यावर आणीन. कारण जेव्हा मी बोलावले तेव्हा कोणी उत्तर दिले नाही. जेव्हा मी बोललो तेव्हा त्यांनी ऐकले नाही, तर माझ्या दृष्टीने जे वाईट ते त्यांनी केले आणि ज्यात मला संतोष नाही ते त्यांनी निवडले.
In the same way I will choose their own punishment; I will bring on them what they fear, because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, no one listened. They did what was evil in my sight, and chose to do what displeases me.”
5 ५ जे तुम्ही परमेश्वराच्या वचनाने थरथर कापता ते तुम्ही त्याचे वचन ऐका, तुमच्या ज्या भावांनी तुमचा द्वेष केला, ज्यांनी माझ्या नावा करीता तुम्हास बाहेर टाकले आहे, ते म्हणाले की आम्ही तुमचा हर्ष पाहावा असा परमेश्वराचा महिमा होवो. पण ते लाजवले जातील.
Hear the word of Yahweh, you who tremble at his word, “Your brothers who hate and exclude you for my name's sake have said, 'May Yahweh be glorified, then we will see your joy,' but they will be put to shame.
A sound of battle tumult comes from the city, a sound from the temple, the sound of Yahweh paying back his enemies.
Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before pain is upon her, she gave birth to a son.
8 ८ अशी गोष्ट कोणी ऐकली काय? कोणी अशी गोष्ट पाहिली आहे काय? एकाच दिवसात राष्ट्र जन्म घेते काय? एक राष्ट्र एका क्षणात स्थापन होईल का? कारण सियोन प्रसूतिवेदना पावली तेव्हाच ती आपली मुले प्रसवली.
Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Will a land be born in one day? Can a nation be established in one moment? Yet as soon as Zion goes into labor, she gives birth to her children.
9 ९ परमेश्वर म्हणतो, मी आईला प्रसूतिच्या वेळेत आणून तिचे मुल जन्मविणार नाही काय? जो मी जन्मास आणतो तो मी गर्भस्थान बंद करीन काय? तुमचा देव असे म्हणतो.
Do I bring a baby to the birth opening and not permit the child to be born?—asks Yahweh. Or do I bring a child to moment of delivery and then hold it back?—asks your God.”
10 १० यरूशलेमेवर प्रेम करणारे, तुम्ही सर्व तिच्याबरोबर हर्ष करा आणि तिच्यासाठी उल्लास करा. जे तुम्ही तिच्यासाठी शोक करता, ते तुम्ही सर्व तिच्याबरोबर आनंदाने हर्ष करा.
Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice with her, all you who mourned over her!
11 ११ कारण तुम्ही तिच्या सांत्वनांचे स्तन चोखून तृप्त व्हावे, आणि तिच्या महिम्याच्या विपूलतेचे दूध ओढून घेऊन संतुष्ट व्हावे.
For you will nurse and be satisfied; with her breasts you will be comforted; for you will drink them to the full and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 १२ परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो “मी तुमच्यावर नदीप्रमाणे हे वैभव पसरवेल, आणि पृथ्वीवरील सर्व राष्ट्रांच्या संपत्तीचा वाहणारा ओघ तुमच्या कडे येईल. तुम्ही ते चोखाल, तुम्ही कडेवर वाहिले जाल आणि मांड्यांवर खेळविले जाल.
This is what Yahweh says, “I am about to spread prosperity over her like a river, and the riches of the nations like an overflowing stream. You will nurse at her side, be carried in her arms, and be dandled on her knees.
As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you, and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
14 १४ तुम्ही हे पाहाल आणि तुमचे हृदय हर्ष पावेल, आणि हिरवळीप्रमाणे तुमचे हाडे नवी होतील. आणि परमेश्वराचा हात त्याच्या सेवकाकडे आहे हे कळेल, पण त्याच्या शत्रूंचा त्यास राग येईल.
You will see this, and your heart will rejoice, and your bones will sprout like the tender grass. The hand of Yahweh will be made known to his servants, but he will show his anger against his enemies.
15 १५ कारण पाहा! परमेश्वर अग्नीसहीत येईल, आणि अग्नीद्वारे आपला क्रोध प्रकट करावा, आणि धमकीसोबत ज्वाला निघाव्यात म्हणून त्याचे रथ वावटळीसारखे होतील.
For look, Yahweh is coming with fire, and his chariots are coming like the windstorm to bring the heat of his anger and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 १६ कारण परमेश्वर अग्नीने आणि तलवारीने सर्व मनुष्यावर न्याय करेल. परमेश्वर मारले जातील ते खूप असतील.
For Yahweh executes judgment on mankind by fire and with his sword. Those killed by Yahweh will be many.
17 १७ जे डुकराचे मांस खातात व अमंगळ गोष्टी व उंदीर खाऊन, बागांच्यामध्ये झाडा खाली आपणाला पवित्र करतात आपणांस स्वच्छ करतात, ते एकत्र नाश होतील असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
They consecrate themselves and make themselves pure, so they may enter the gardens, following the one in the middle of those who eat the flesh of pig and abominable things like mice. “They will come to an end—this is Yahweh's declaration.
18 १८ कारण मला त्यांचे विचार आणि कल्पना ठाऊक आहेत. ती वेळ येणार आहे जेव्हा मी सर्व राष्ट्रांना व भाषांना एकत्र करीन. आणि ते येतील व माझे वैभव पाहतील.
For I know their deeds and their thoughts. The time is coming when I will gather all nations and languages. They will come and will see my glory.
19 १९ काही लोकांवर मी खूण करीन. मी या वाचविलेल्या काही लोकांस तार्शीश, पूल, लूद (धनुर्धाऱ्यांचा देश), तुबाल, यवान आणि दूरदूरच्या द्वीपात, ज्यांनी माझी कीर्ती ऐकली नाही व माझे वैभव पाहिले नाही त्याच्याकडे पाठवीन. ते राष्ट्रांमध्ये माझे वैभव प्रकट करतील.
I will set a mighty sign among them. Then I will send survivors from them to the nations: To Tarshish, Put, and Lud, archers who draw their bows, to Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands where they have not heard about me nor seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations.
20 २० आणि ते सर्व राष्ट्रांतून तुमच्या भावांना आणतील. ते त्यांना माझ्या पवित्र डोंगरावर, यरूशलेमेला, घोड्यांवरून, खेचरांवर, उंटावरून, रथांतून आणि गाड्यांतून आणतील. ते म्हणजे जणू काही इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनी निर्मळ तबकातून, परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात आणलेले नजराणे असतील.
They will bring back all your brothers out of all the nations, as an offering to Yahweh. They will come on horses, and in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem—says Yahweh. For the people of Israel will bring a grain offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yahweh.
Some of these I will even choose as priests and Levites—says Yahweh.
22 २२ कारण मी जे नवीन आकाशे व पृथ्वी निर्माण करीन, ती माझ्या समोर अक्षय राहतील. त्याचप्रमाणे तुमची नावे आणि मुले माझ्याबरोबर टिकून राहतील, परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
For just as the new heavens and the new earth that I will make will remain before me—this is Yahweh's declaration—so your descendants will remain, and your name will remain.
23 २३ आणि एका महिन्या पासून दुसऱ्या महिन्या पर्यंत, एका शब्बाथापासून दुसऱ्या शब्बाथापर्यंत, सर्व लोक माझ्या समोर नमन करायला येत जातील, परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
From one month to the next, and from one Sabbath to the next, all people will come to bow down to me—says Yahweh.
24 २४ “आणि ज्या मनुष्यांनी माझ्याविरूद्ध अपराध केला त्यांची प्रेते ते पाहातील, कारण त्यांचा किडा मरणार नाही आणि त्यांचा अग्नी कधी विझणार नाही. आणि ते मनुष्ये सर्व मनुष्यास घृणास्पद होतील.”
They will go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me, for the worms that eat them will not die, and the fire that consumes them will not be quenched; and it will be an abhorrence to all flesh.”
