इब्री 4

1 १ म्हणून देवाच्या विसाव्याच्या ठिकाणी प्रवेश करण्यासाठी देवापासून मिळालेले अभिवचन अजूनही आहे आणि यास्तव तुमच्यापैकी कोणीही ते चुकवू नये म्हणून काळजी घ्या.

Then let us fear, lest at some time, the promise to enter into his rest having been left, some of you may appear to have come short.

2 २ कारण आम्हास सुद्धा सुवार्ता सांगितली गेली आहे ज्याप्रमाणे ती इस्राएल लोकांस सांगण्यात आली होती. परंतु जो संदेश त्यांनी ऐकला त्यापासून त्यांना फायदा झाला नाही कारण तो संदेश त्यांनी ऐकला पण त्यांनी विश्वासाने स्वीकारला नाही.

For we truly have had the gospel preached unto us, as they did also: but the word of hearing did not profit them, not being mixed with faith to those hearing.

3 ३ ज्या आपण विश्वास ठेवला ते पवित्र शास्त्रात लिहिल्याप्रमाणे त्या विसाव्याच्या ठिकाणी प्रवेश करणार आहोत. असे देवाने म्हणले आहे. “म्हणून मी माझ्या रागाच्या भरात अशी शपथ वाहून म्हणालो, ‘ते माझ्या विसाव्याच्या ठिकाणी कधीच प्रवेश करणार नाहीत” जगाच्या निर्मितीपासूनचे त्याचे काम संपलेले होते तरी तो असे म्हणाला.

For we who have believed, do enter into rest: as he has said, As I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest: the works truly having been from the foundations of the world.

4 ४ कारण पवित्र शास्त्रात तो सातव्या दिवसाबद्दल असे बोलला आहे कीः “आणि सातव्या दिवशी देवाने त्याच्या सर्व कामापासून विश्रांती घेतली.”

For he somewhere has spoken thus in reference to the seventh day, And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.

5 ५ आणि पुन्हा तो म्हणतो, “ते माझ्या विसाव्याच्या ठिकाणी कधीही प्रवेश करणार नाहीत.”

And in this again he has said, They shall not enter into my rest.

6 ६ ज्यांना अगोदर सुवार्ता सांगण्यात आली होती त्यांचा त्यांच्या अविश्वासामुळे त्यामध्ये प्रवेश झाला नाही, तरी हे खरे आहे की, काही जणांचा त्या विसाव्यात प्रवेश होणार आहे.

Then since it remains that some do enter into it, and those formerly having had the gospel preached unto them did not enter in on account of unbelief,

7 ७ त्यांच्यासाठी देवाने पुन्हा एक वेळ निश्चित केली असून त्यास तो “आज” हा एक असा दिवस ठरवतो आणि अगोदर सांगितल्याप्रमाणे इतक्या काळानंतर तो दावीदाच्या द्वारे असे म्हणतो, “आज, जर तुम्ही त्याची वाणी ऐकाल, तर आपली अंतःकरणे कठीण करू नका.”

again he appoints a certain day, saying in David, as has previously been said, This day, after so long a time; If you may hear his voice this day, harden not your hearts.

8 ८ कारण जर यहोशवा त्यांना देवाने दिलेल्या विसाव्याच्या ठिकाणी घेऊन गेला, तर देव दुसऱ्या दिवसाबद्दल पुन्हा बोलला नसता.

For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not speak concerning another day after these things.

9 ९ म्हणून देवाच्या लोकांसाठी अजूनही विसाव्याचा दिवस आहे.

Therefore there is a sabbatism left for the people of God.

10 १० कारण जो कोणी देवाच्या विसाव्याच्या ठिकाणी प्रवेश करतो, तो त्याच्या स्वतःच्या कामापासून विसावा घेतो. ज्याप्रमाणे देवाने त्याच्या कामापासून विसावा घेतला होता.

For the one having entered into his rest has ceased from his works, as God did from his own.

11 ११ म्हणून त्या विसाव्याच्या ठिकाणी प्रवेश करण्यासाठी आपण होईल तितका प्रयत्न करावा. यासाठी की, कोणीही इस्राएल लोकांनी आज्ञाभंग केल्याप्रमाणे त्यांचे अनुकरण करू नये.

Therefore let us hasten to enter into that rest, lest some one may fall by the same example of unbelief.

12 १२ कारण देवाचे वचन सजीव, सक्रीय कोणत्याही दुधारी तलवारीपेक्षा अधिक धारदार असून जीव, सांधे व मज्जा यांना भेदून आरपार जाणारे आणि मनातील विचार व हेतू ह्यांची पारख करणारे असे आहे.

For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing unto the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and a quick discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 १३ आणि कोणतीही निर्मित गोष्ट त्याच्यापासून लपलेली नाही आणि ज्याच्यापाशी आम्हास सर्व गोष्टींचा हिशोब द्यावयाचा आहे, देवासमोर सर्व गोष्टी उघड व स्पष्ट अशा आहेत.

And no creature is hidden in his presence: but all things are naked and have been laid open to the eyes of him to whom the word is unto us.

14 १४ म्हणून, ज्याअर्थी आम्हास येशू देवाचा पुत्र हा महान महायाजक लाभला आहे व जो स्वर्गात गेला आहे, असा जो विश्वास आपण गाजवितो तो अखंडपणे भक्कम धरून राहू या.

Therefore having a great high priest, having entered into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast the testimony.

15 १५ कारण आपल्याला लाभलेला महायाजक असा नाही, जो आपल्या अशक्तपणाबद्दल सहानुभूती दर्शवण्यास असमर्थ आहे. पण आपल्याला असा याजक लाभला आहे की, जो आमच्यासारखाच सर्व प्रकारच्या मोहाच्या अनुभवातून गेला. तरीही तो पूर्णपणे पापविरहीत राहिला.

For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched with our infirmities; but one having been tempted as to all things like unto us, apart from sin.

16 १६ तर मग आपण देवाच्या कृपेच्या राजासनाजवळ निर्धाराने जाऊ या. यासाठी की, आमच्या गरजेच्या वेळी साहाय्य मिळावे म्हणून आम्हास दया व कृपा प्राप्त व्हावी.

Therefore let us draw nigh with confidence to a throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and find grace in every opportune need.
