यहेज्केल 5

1 १ “मग मानवाच्या मुला, स्वतःसाठी न्हाव्याच्या वस्तऱ्यासारखे धारधार अवजार घे व आपल्या डोक्याच्या केसांचे, दाढीचे मुंडन कर, केस तागडीत मोजून त्याचे वाटप कर

“Also, you human, [when you start doing those things, ] take a sharp sword and use it like [SIM] a razor to shave your head and your beard. Then put the hair that you shaved off on scales, and divide the [into three equal parts].

2 २ वेढा दिलेला समय समाप्त झाल्यावर त्यातील तिसरा भाग शहराच्या मध्य भागी जाळून टाक. आणि तिसरा भाग तलवारीने कापून टाक व तिसरा भाग वाऱ्यावर उडवून टाक आणि या प्रकारे त्या लोकांचा पाठलाग तलवार करेल.

When the time during [you will symbolize that] the city will be [by enemy troops] ends, put a third of the hair inside [drawing of the] city and burn it. Take another third of the hair, [scatter it] all [the drawing of] the city, and then strike it with your sword. That will symbolize that I will strike the people of Jerusalem [their enemies’] swords. Then allow the wind to scatter the other third of the hair. That will symbolize [even if they flee from the city], I will [cause their enemies to] pursue them and attack them with swords.

3 ३ थोडेसे केस कापून आपल्या कपड्याला बांधून टाक.

Take a few of your hairs and tuck them into the folds of your robe.

Then take a few of those hairs, throw them into the fire, and burn them up. [That will symbolize that] a fire will spread from Jerusalem [and destroy things] throughout Israel.

5 ५ परमेश्वर देव म्हणतो, ही यरूशलेम नगरी, जी इतर राष्ट्रांमध्ये आहे, जेथे मी तिला स्थापीले, आणि मी तिला इतर देशांनी आजूबाजुने वेढीले आहे.

This is what [I, ] Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘[drawing will represent] Jerusalem, [the city which] I have set in the center of the nations, with [other] countries around it.

6 ६ पण तिने वाईट आचरण करून इतर देशांहून माझा धिक्कार केला आहे, आणि त्यांनी माझ्या न्यायीपणाचा व आज्ञाचा विरोध केला आहे.

But the wicked people of Jerusalem rebelled against [obeying] my commands, and [they show that] they are more wicked than the people of the surrounding countries. They rejected my laws and refused to obey my commands.’

7 ७ म्हणून परमेश्वर देव असे सांगतो; तुम्ही आजूबाजुच्या देशांपेक्षा अधिक त्रासदायक आहात. तुम्ही सभोवतालच्या देशाहून अधिक माझ्या फर्मानाचे पालन केले नाही.

Therefore, this is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘You people of Jerusalem have been more rebellious than the people of the nations around you; you have not obeyed any of my laws [DOU]. You have not even obeyed the laws of the nations around you!’

8 ८ म्हणूनच परमेश्वर देव म्हणतो; पहा! मीच तुमच्या विरोधात काम करेन! तुम्हास केलेले शासन हे आजूबाजुच्या देशाच्या डोळ्यादेखत तुम्हावर होईल.

Therefore, this is [I, ] Yahweh the Lord, say: ‘I am opposed to [you people of] Jerusalem. I will punish you, and the [people of other] nations will see it happen.

9 ९ तुझ्या किळस आणणाऱ्या कार्यामुळे, मी आजवर केले नाही, आणि करणार नाही, असे मी तुझ्यासोबत करेल.

Because of all your detestable [idols], I will punish [people of Jerusalem] like I have never done before and will never do again.

10 १० तथापि बाप मुलांना, आणि मुले बापाला खाऊन टाकतील, कारण मी तुझ्यावर न्याय आणला आहे. तुमच्या उरलेल्या अंशाला चारही भागात फेकून देईल.

As a result, parents among you will eat their children, and children will eat their [because there will be nothing else to eat]. I will punish you [severely], and I will cause those who will still be alive to be scattered in all directions [IDM].’

11 ११ म्हणून जसा मी राहलो, परमेश्वर देव म्हणतो, निश्चितच तुम्ही किळस राग आणणाऱ्या गोष्टी केल्या आहेत. म्हणून तुमची संख्या कमी करून तुमच्यावर दया करणार नाही.

Therefore, I, Yahweh the Lord, declare that as surely as I am alive, because you have polluted my temple with all your disgusting [statues of idols] and by the other detestable things that you do, I will no longer bless you. I will not pity [you] or act mercifully [toward you].

12 १२ घातक साथीच्या रोगाने तुम्हातील तिसरा भाग तुमच्या संख्येतून मी नाहीसा करेन, तुम्हामध्ये भयंकर दुष्काळ भुकमरी, सभोवताली तलवारीने तुझे लोक नाश पावतील. सर्व दिशांनी तलवार येऊन तुझा पिच्छा करील.

One-third of your people will die inside the city because of the plagues [they will experience] or by (famine/lack of food). One-third of your people will be killed [your enemies’] swords outside the city. And one-third I will cause to be scattered in all directions; [your enemies] will [still] pursue you and kill you with their swords.

13 १३ तेव्हा राग पूर्ण होऊन समाधान पावेल, व माझा क्रोध शांत होईल असे त्यांना कळून येईल, परमेश्वर देव हे सर्व त्याच्या विरोधात आवेशाने म्हणाला.

Then I will no longer be angry with you; I will stop punishing [MTY] you after I have gotten revenge on you. And when I stop punishing you, you will know that I, Yahweh, have spoken to you because I have been very strongly concerned [what you have done].

14 १४ तुझ्या आजूबाजुच्या देशांमध्ये तुझा नाश व तुझी खरडपट्टी काढेन, जे तुझ्या आजूबाजूने येणारे जाणारे ते पहातील.

I will cause your [city] to be a ruins, with the result that [people of other] nations that are around you will pass by and see it and sneer at you.

15 १५ यरुशलेच्या बाबतीत इतर शेजारी लोकांसाठी चेतावनीचा इशारा असेल. त्यांना निंदा करण्याचे व अपमान करण्याचे कारण मिळेल. त्यांच्यावर शासन करून त्यांचा नाश केला असे परमेश्वर देव म्हणतो.

They will make fun of you and taunt you. When I severely punish you because of my being very angry [DOU] with you, they will be horrified and they will be warned. [That will surely happen because] I, Yahweh, have said it.

16 १६ तुमच्यात कडूपणाचे बाण पाठवेन, त्याचा अर्थ असा होईल मी तुमचा विध्वंस होईल, त्यांच्या वरचा दुष्काळ अजून कठोर करून तुमच्या भाकरीचा आधार काढून टाकेन;

When I cut off your food supply and cause there to be more famine, [it will be as though] [MET] I am shooting at you with my arrows that will destroy you.

17 १७ दुष्काळ, रोगराई तुमच्यावर पाठवीन, तुम्ही आपत्यहीन व्हाल, साथीचा रोग, रक्तस्राव आणि तुम्हावर तलवार चालवीन. असे परमेश्वर देव म्हणतो.”

I will cause you to experience a famine, and I will send wild beasts to attack you and your children, and [all] your children will be killed. You will experience plagues and wars, and I will cause [your enemies] to attack you with their swords. [That will surely happen because] I, Yahweh, have said it.”
