निर्गम 28
1 १ परमेश्वर मोशेला म्हणाला, याजक म्हणून माझी सेवा करण्यासाठी तुझा भाऊ अहरोन व त्याचे पुत्र नादाब, अबीहू, एलाजार व इथामार यांना इस्राएल लोकांतून वेगळे होऊन तुजकडे येण्यास सांग.
Now let Aaron your brother, and his sons with him, come near from among the children of Israel, so that they may be my priests, even Aaron, and Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar, his sons.
And make holy robes for Aaron your brother, so that he may be clothed with glory and honour.
3 ३ ही वस्रे बनवणारे कारागीर ज्यांना मी ज्ञानाच्या आत्म्याने परिपूर्ण केले आहे त्या सर्वांना अहरोनाची वस्रे तयार करण्यास सांग. त्यामुळे तो माझी याजकीय सेवा करण्यासाठी पवित्र होईल.
Give orders to all the wise-hearted workmen, whom I have made full of the spirit of wisdom, to make robes for Aaron, so that he may be made holy as my priest.
4 ४ तुझा भाऊ अहरोन व त्याचे पुत्र यांनी याजक या नात्याने माझी सेवा करावी म्हणून कारागिरांनी त्यांच्यासाठी ही पवित्र वस्त्रे ऊरपट, एफोद, झगा, चौकड्याचा अंगरखा, मंदिल व कमरबंद तयार करावीत.
This is what they are to make: a priest's bag, an ephod, and a robe, and a coat of coloured needlework, a head-dress, and a linen band; they are to make holy robes for Aaron your brother and for his sons, so that they may do the work of priests for me.
5 ५ त्यांनी सोन्याची जर आणि निळ्या, जांभळ्या व किरमिजी रंगाचे सूत व तलम सणाचे कापड वापरून ही वस्रे तयार करावीत.
They are to take the gold and blue and purple and red and the best linen,
6 ६ सोन्याची जर व निळ्या, जांभळ्या व किरमिजी रंगाचे सूत तसेच कातलेल्या तलम सणाचे कापड घेऊन कुशल कारागिराकडून त्यांचे एफोद तयार करून घ्यावे;
And make the ephod of gold and blue and purple and red and the best linen, the work of a designer.
It is to have two bands stitched to it at the top of the arms, joining it together.
8 ८ एफोद बांधण्यासाठी त्याच्यावर कुशलतेने विणलेली एक पट्टी असते तिची बनावट त्याच्यासारखीच असून ती अखंड असावी; सोन्याच्या जरीची, व निळ्या, जांभळ्या व किरमिजी रंगाचे सुताची व कातलेल्या तलम सणाच्या कापडाची ती असावी.
And the beautifully worked band, which goes on it, is to be of the same work and the same material, of gold and blue and purple and red and twisted linen-work.
9 ९ मग दोन गोमेद रत्ने घेऊन त्यांच्यावर इस्राएलाच्या पुत्रांची नावे त्यांच्या जन्माच्या क्रमाने कोरावी.
You are to take two beryl stones, on which the names of the children of Israel are to be cut:
Six names on the one stone and six on the other, in the order of their birth.
11 ११ रत्नावर कोरीव काम करणारा कारागीर कुशलतेने एखादी मुद्रा कोरतो त्याप्रमाणे दोन्ही रत्नांवर इस्राएलाच्या बारा पुत्रांची नावे कोरावीत आणि ती सोन्याच्या जाळीदार कोंदणात बसवावीत.
With the work of a jeweller, like the cutting of a stamp, the names of the children of Israel are to be cut on them, and they are to be fixed in twisted frames of gold.
12 १२ ती दोन्ही रत्ने एफोदाच्या दोन्ही खांदपट्ट्यांवर लावावी. ती इस्राएल लोकांची स्मारकरत्ने होत, म्हणजे अहरोन त्यांची नावे परमेश्वरासमोर आपल्या दोन्ही खांद्यांवर स्मरणार्थ वागवील.
And the two stones are to be placed on the ephod, over the arm-holes, to be stones of memory for the children of Israel: Aaron will have their names on his arms when he goes in before the Lord, to keep the Lord in mind of them.
And you are to make twisted frames of gold;
14 १४ पीळ घातलेल्या दोरीसारख्या शुद्ध सोन्याच्या दोन साखळ्या कराव्यात व त्या पीळ घातलेल्या साखळ्या त्या कोंदणात बसवाव्या.
And two chains of the best gold, twisted like cords; and have the chains fixed on to the frames.
15 १५ न्यायाचा ऊरपटही तयार कुशल कारागिराकडून तयार करावा. जसा एफोद तयार केला, तसाच तो करावा. तो सोन्याच्या जरीचा, आणि निळ्या, जांभळ्या व किरमिजी रंगाच्या सुताचा व कातलेल्या तलम सणाच्या कापडाचा करावा;
And make a priest's bag for giving decisions, designed like the ephod, made of gold and blue and purple and red and the best linen.
It is to be square, folded in two, a hand-stretch long and a hand-stretch wide.
And on it you are to put four lines of jewels; the first line is to be a cornelian, a chrysolite, and an emerald;
The second, a ruby, a sapphire, and an onyx;
The third, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst;
The fourth, a topaz, a beryl, and a jasper; they are to be fixed in twisted frames of gold.
21 २१ ऊरपटावर इस्राएलाच्या प्रत्येक पुत्राच्या नावाच्या संख्येएवढी ही रत्ने असावीत. त्यांच्या संख्येइतकी बारा नावे असावीत. मुद्रा जशी कोरतात तसे बारा वंशांपैकी एकेकाचे नाव एकेका रत्नावर कोरावे.
The jewels are to be twelve in number, for the names of the children of Israel; every jewel having the name of one of the twelve tribes cut on it as on a stamp.
And you are to make two chains of gold, twisted like cords, to be fixed to the priest's bag.
And put two gold rings on the two ends of the bag.
Put the two gold chains on the two rings at the ends of the bag;
25 २५ पीळ घातलेल्या दोन्ही साखळ्यांची दुसरी टोके दोन्ही कोंदणात खोचून त्या एफोदाच्या दोन्ही खांदपट्ट्यांवर पुढल्या बाजूला लावाव्यात.
Joining the other ends of the chains to the gold frames and putting them on the front of the ephod, at the top of the arms.
26 २६ सोन्याच्या आणखी दोन कड्या करून न्यायाच्या ऊरपटाच्या आतल्या दोन्ही कोपऱ्यांना एफोदाच्या बाजूला लावाव्या.
Then make two gold rings and put them on the lower ends of the bag, at the edge of it on the inner side nearest to the ephod.
27 २७ सोन्याच्या आणखी दोन कड्या करून त्या खांदपट्ट्याखालील एफोदाच्या समोर त्याच्या जोडाजवळील पट्टीवर लावाव्या.
And make two more gold rings and put them on the front of the ephod at the top of the arms, at the join, over the worked band:
28 २८ त्या ऊरपटाच्या कड्या एफोदाच्या कड्यांना निळ्या फितीने बांधाव्या, ह्याप्रमाणे तो कुशलतेने विणलेल्या एफोदाच्या पट्टीवर राहील, आणि ऊरपट एफोदावरून घसरणार नाही.
So that the rings on the bag may be fixed to the rings of the ephod by a blue cord and on to the band of the ephod, so that the bag may not come loose from the ephod.
29 २९ अहरोन पवित्रस्थानात प्रवेश करील तेव्हा त्याच्या ऊरपटावर म्हणजे आपल्या हृदयावर त्याने इस्राएलाच्या मुलांची नावे कोरलेली असतील, त्यामुळे परमेश्वरास इस्राएलाच्या बारा पुत्रांची सतत आठवण राहील.
And so Aaron will have the names of the children of Israel on the priest's bag over his heart whenever he goes into the holy place, to keep the memory of them before the Lord.
30 ३० ऊरपटात तू उरीम व थुम्मीम ठेव. अहरोन परमेश्वरासमोर येईल तेव्हा ते त्याच्या हृदयावर असतील. त्यामुळे इस्राएल लोकांचा न्याय करण्याचा मार्ग तो नेहमी आपल्या हृदयावर घेऊन जाईल.
And in the bag you are to put the Urim and Thummim, so that they may be on Aaron's heart whenever he goes in before the Lord; and Aaron may have the power of making decisions for the children of Israel before the Lord at all times.
The robe which goes with the ephod is to be made all of blue;
32 ३२ त्याच्या मध्यभागी डोके घालण्यासाठी एक भोक असावे आणि त्याच्या भोवती कापडाचा गोट शिवावा म्हणजे झग्याचा तो भाग फाटणार नाही.
With a hole at the top, in the middle of it; the hole is to be edged with a band to make it strong like the hole in the coat of a fighting-man, so that it may not be broken open.
33 ३३ निळ्या, जांभळ्या व किरमिजी रंगाच्या सुताच्या कापडाची डाळिंबे काढून ती त्या झग्याच्या खालच्या घेराभोवती लावावीत आणि दोन डाळिंबाच्या मधील जागेत सोन्याची घुंगरे लावावीत;
And round the skirts of it put fruits in blue and purple and red, with bells of gold between;
A gold bell and a fruit in turn all round the skirts of the robe.
35 ३५ सेवा करताना अहरोनाने हा झगा घालावा; जेव्हा जेव्हा तो पवित्रस्थानात परमेश्वरासमोर जाईल किंवा तेथून बाहेर पडेल तेव्हा तेव्हा त्या घुंगरांचा आवाज ऐकू येईल; त्यामुळे तो मरावयाचा नाही.
Aaron is to put it on for his holy work; and the sound of it will be clear, when he goes into the holy place before the Lord, and when he comes out, keeping him safe from death.
36 ३६ शुद्ध सोन्याची एक पट्टी बनवावी आणि मुद्रा कोरतात तशी तिच्यावर परमेश्वरासाठी पवित्र ही अक्षरे कोरावीत.
You are to make a plate of the best gold, cutting on it, as on a stamp, these words: HOLY TO THE LORD.
Put a blue cord on it and put it on the front of the twisted head-dress:
38 ३८ ती अहरोनाच्या कपाळावर सतत असावी. ह्यासाठी की ज्या गोष्टी इस्राएल लोक परमेश्वरास पवित्र अर्पण करतील म्हणजे ज्या पवित्र भेटी त्यासंबंधीचा दोष अहरोनाने वाहावा; त्यामुळे ती दाने परमेश्वरास मान्य ठरतील.
And it will be over Aaron's brow, so that Aaron will be responsible for any error in all the holy offerings made by the children of Israel; it will be on his brow at all times, so that their offerings may be pleasing to the Lord.
39 ३९ चौकड्यांचा अंगरखा तलम सणाचा करावा व एक मंदिलही तलम सणाचा करावा आणि एक वेलबुट्टीदार कमरबंद करावा.
The coat is to be made of the best linen, worked in squares; and you are to make a head-dress of linen, and a linen band worked in needlework.
And for Aaron's sons you are to make coats, and bands, and head-dresses, so that they may be clothed with glory and honour.
41 ४१ तुझा भाऊ अहरोन ह्याला व त्याच्या पुत्रांना ही वस्रे घालून, त्यांना अभिषेक करावा व त्यांच्यावर संस्कार करावा आणि त्यांना पवित्र कर म्हणजे मग याजक या नात्याने ते माझी सेवा करतील.
These you are to put on Aaron, your brother, and on his sons, putting oil on them, separating them and making them holy, to do the work of priests to me.
42 ४२ “त्यांच्यासाठी सणाच्या कापडाचे चोळणे कर म्हणजे कमरेपासून मांडीपर्यंत त्यांचे अंग झाकलेले राहील.
And you are to make them linen trousers, covering their bodies from the middle to the knee;
43 ४३ आणि अहरोन व त्याचे पुत्र दर्शनमंडपामध्ये प्रवेश करतील व पवित्रस्थानात सेवा करण्यास जातील तेव्हा त्यांनी हे चोळणे घातलेले असावे; तसे न केल्यास, दोषी ठरून ते मरतील; अहरोनाला व त्यानंतर त्याच्या वंशाला हा कायमचा नियम आहे.”
Aaron and his sons are to put these on whenever they go into the Tent of meeting or come near the altar, when they are doing the work of the holy place, so that they may be free from any sin causing death: this is to be an order for him and his seed after him for ever.
