Jesus aber ging hinauf auf einen Berg und setzte sich daselbst mit seinen Jüngern.

Es war aber nahe Ostern, der Juden Fest.

Da hub Jesus seine Augen auf und siehet, daß viel Volks zu ihm kommt, und spricht zu Philippus: Wo kaufen wir Brot, daß diese essen?

(Das sagte er aber, ihn zu versuchen; denn er wußte wohl, was er tun wollte.)

Philippus antwortete ihm: Für zweihundert Pfennig Brot ist nicht genug unter sie, daß ein jeglicher unter ihnen ein wenig nehme.

Spricht zu ihm einer seiner Jünger, Andreas, der Bruder des Simon Petrus:

Es ist ein Knabe hier, der hat fünf Gerstenbrote und zwei Fische; aber was ist das unter so viele?

Jesus aber sprach: Schaffet, daß sich das Volk lagere! Es war aber viel Gras an dem Ort. Da lagerten sich bei fünftausend Mann.

Jesus aber nahm die Brote, dankete und gab sie den Jüngern, die Jünger aber denen, die sich gelagert hatten; desselbigengleichen auch von den Fischen, wieviel er wollte.

Da sie aber satt waren, sprach er zu seinen Jüngern: Sammelt die übrigen Brocken, daß nichts umkomme!
13 Na kohikohia ana e ratou, a whakakiia ana nga kete tekau ma rua ki nga whatiwhatinga o nga taro pare e rima, ki nga toenga a nga tangata i kai ra.
Da sammelten sie und fülleten zwölf Körbe mit Brocken von den fünf Gerstenbroten, die überblieben denen, die gespeiset worden.
14 A, i te kitenga o aua tangata i te merekara i meatia e Ihu, ka ki ratou, Ko ia ano tenei, ko te poropiti e haere mai ana ki te ao.
Da nun die Menschen das Zeichen sahen, das Jesus tat, sprachen sie: Das ist wahrlich der Prophet, der in die Welt kommen soll!
15 Na ka mahara a Ihu, meake ratou haere mai ki te tango i a ia, ki te whakakingi i a ia, na maunu ana ano ia ki te maunga, ko ia anake.
Da Jesus nun merkete, daß sie kommen würden und ihn haschen, daß sie ihn zum Könige machten, entwich er abermal auf den Berg, er selbst alleine.

Am Abend aber gingen die Jünger hinab an das Meer

und traten in das Schiff und kamen über das Meer gen Kapernaum. Und es war schon finster worden, und Jesus war nicht zu ihnen kommen.

Und das Meer erhub sich von einem großen Winde.

Da sie nun gerudert hatten bei fünfundzwanzig oder dreißig Feld Wegs, sahen sie Jesum auf dem Meer dahergehen und nahe zum Schiff kommen; und sie fürchteten sich.

Er aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich bin's; fürchtet euch nicht!

Da wollten sie ihn in das Schiff nehmen; und alsbald war das Schiff am Lande, da sie hinfuhren.
22 I te aonga ake, ka mahara te mano e tu ana ki tera taha o te moana, kahore he poti ke atu o reira, ko tera anake i eke ai ana akonga, kihai hoki a Ihu i eke tahi ratou ko ana akonga ki te poti, engari ko ana akonga anake i haere;
Des andern Tages sah das Volk, das diesseits des Meeres stund, daß kein ander Schiff daselbst war denn das einige, darein seine Jünger getreten waren, und daß Jesus nicht mit seinen Jüngern in das Schiff getreten war, sondern allein seine Jünger waren weggefahren.

Es kamen aber andere Schiffe von Tiberias nahe zu der Stätte, da sie das Brot gegessen hatten durch des HERRN Danksagung.

Da nun das Volk sah, daß Jesus nicht da war noch seine Jünger, traten sie auch in die Schiffe und kamen gen Kapernaum und suchten Jesum.

Und da sie ihn fanden jenseit des Meeres, sprachen sie zu ihm: Rabbi, wann bist du herkommen?

Jesus antwortete ihnen und sprach: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch, ihr suchet mich nicht darum, daß ihr Zeichen gesehen habt, sondern daß ihr von dem Brot gegessen habt und seid satt worden.

Wirket Speise, nicht die vergänglich ist, sondern die da bleibet in das ewige Leben, welche euch des Menschen Sohn geben wird; denn denselbigen hat Gott der Vater versiegelt. (aiōnios g166)
28 Na ka mea ratou ki a ia, Me aha matou e mahi ai i nga mahi a te Atua?
Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Was sollen wir tun, daß wir Gottes Werke wirken?
29 Ka whakahoki a Ihu, ka mea ki a ratou, Ko ta te Atua mahi tenei, kia whakapono koutou ki tana i tono mai ai.
Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Das ist Gottes Werk, daß ihr an den glaubet, den er gesandt hat.
30 Na ka mea ratou ki a ia, Ko tehea tohu te meatia ana e koe kia kite ai matou, kia whakapono ai ki a koe? tena koa tau mahi?
Da sprachen sie zu ihm: Was tust du für ein Zeichen, auf daß wir sehen und glauben dir? Was wirkest du?
31 I kai o tatou matua i te mana i te koraha; ko te mea hoki tena i tuhituhia, i homai e ia he taro i te rangi hei kai ma ratou.
Unsere Väter haben Manna gegessen in der Wüste, wie geschrieben stehet: Er gab ihnen Brot vom Himmel zu essen.
32 Na ko te meatanga a Ihu ki a ratou, he pono, he pono taku e mea nei ki a koutou, Ehara i a Mohi nana i hoatu tena taro ki a koutou i te rangi; engari tenei te hoatu nei e toku Matua ki a koutou te taro pono o te rangi.
Da sprach Jesus zu ihnen: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Mose hat euch nicht Brot vom Himmel gegeben, sondern mein Vater gibt euch das rechte Brot vom Himmel.
33 Ko te taro hoki a te Atua ko ia e heke iho ana i te rangi, e homai ana i te ora ki te ao.
Denn dies ist das Brot Gottes, das vom Himmel kommt und gibt der Welt das Leben.

Da sprachen sie zu ihm: HERR, gib uns allewege solch Brot!
35 Ka mea a Ihu ki a ratou, Ko ahau te taro o te ora: ki te haere mai tetahi ki ahau, e kore rawa ia e hiakai; ki te whakapono hoki tetahi ki ahau, e kore rawa ia e matewai.
Jesus aber sprach zu ihnen: Ich bin das Brot des Lebens. Wer zu mir kommt, den wird nicht hungern; und wer an mich glaubet, den wird nimmermehr dürsten.

Aber ich hab's euch gesagt, daß ihr mich gesehen habt und glaubet doch nicht.

Alles, was mir mein Vater gibt, das kommt zu mir; und wer zu mir kommt, den werde ich nicht hinausstoßen.
38 I heke iho hoki ahau i te rangi, ehara i te mea hei mahi i taku i pai ai, engari i ta toku kaitono mai i pai ai.
Denn ich bin vom Himmel kommen, nicht daß ich meinen Willen tue, sondern des, der mich gesandt hat.
39 Ko ta te Matua i pai ai, nana nei ahau i tono mai, koia tenei, kia kaua e ngaro i ahau tetahi wahi o nga mea katoa i homai e ia ki ahau; engari kia whakaarahia ake e ahau a te ra whakamutunga.
Das ist aber der Wille des Vaters, der mich gesandt hat, daß ich nichts verliere von allem, was er mir gegeben hat, sondern daß ich's auferwecke am Jüngsten Tage.
40 Ko ta toku Matua hoki tenei i pai ai, ko te tangata e kite ana i te Tama, e whakapono ana ano ki a ia, kia whiwhi ia ki te ora tonu; maku ano ia e whakaara ake a te ra whakamutunga. (aiōnios g166)
Das ist aber der Wille des, der mich gesandt hat, daß, wer den Sohn siehet und glaubet an ihn, habe das ewige Leben; und ich werde ihn auferwecken am Jüngsten Tage. (aiōnios g166)
41 Na ka korero komuhumuhu nga Hurai ki a ia, mona i mea, Ko ahau te taro i heke iho i te rangi.
Da murreten die Juden darüber, daß er sagte: Ich bin das Brot, das vom Himmel kommen ist,
42 Ka mea ratou, Ehara oti tenei i a Ihu, tama a Hohepa, e mohio nei tatou ki tona papa raua ko tona whaea? ha! he pehea tana e ki nei, I heke iho ahau i te rangi?
und sprachen: Ist dieser nicht Jesus, Josephs Sohn, des Vater und Mutter wir kennen? Wie spricht er denn: Ich bin vom Himmel kommen?

Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Murret nicht untereinander!
44 Kahore he tangata e ahei te haere mai ki ahau, ki te kahore ia e kumea mai e te Matua, nana nei ahau i tono mai: e maku ano ia e whakaara ake a te ra whakamutunga.
Es kann niemand zu mir kommen, es sei denn, daß ihn ziehe der Vater, der mich gesandt hat; und ich werde ihn auferwecken am Jüngsten Tage.
45 Kua oti te tuhituhi i roto i nga poropiti, A ka whakaakona ratou katoa e te Atua. Na, ko te tangata kua rongo ki te Matua, kua akona hoki, ka haere mai ki ahau.
Es stehet geschrieben in den Propheten: Sie werden alle von Gott gelehret sein. Wer es nun höret vom Vater und lernet es, der kommt zu mir.
46 Ehara i te mea kua kite tetahi i te Matua; ko ia anake i puta mai i te Atua, ko ia kua kite i te Matua.
Nicht daß jemand den Vater habe gesehen, außer dem, der vom Vater ist, der hat den Vater gesehen.
47 He pono, he pono taku e mea nei ki a koutou, Ki te whakapono tetahi, he ora tonu tona. (aiōnios g166)
Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Wer an mich glaubet, der hat das ewige Leben. (aiōnios g166)
48 Ko ahau te taro o te ora.
Ich bin das Brot des Lebens.
49 I kai ra o koutou matua i te mana i te koraha, a i mate ratou.
Eure Väter haben Manna gegessen in der Wüste und sind gestorben.
50 Ko te taro tenei e heke iho ana i te rangi, kia kai ai te tangata i a ia, a kia kaua e mate.
Dies ist das Brot, das vom Himmel kommt, auf daß, wer davon isset, nicht sterbe.
51 Ko ahau te taro ora i heke iho i te rangi; ki te kai tetahi i tenei taro, e ora tonu ia: ae ra, ko te taro e hoatu e ahau ko oku kikokiko, e hoatu e ahau hei oranga mo te ao (aiōn g165)
Ich bin das lebendige Brot, vom Himmel kommen. Wer von diesem Brot essen wird, der wird leben in Ewigkeit. Und das Brot, das ich geben werde, ist mein Fleisch, welches ich geben werde für das Leben der Welt. (aiōn g165)

Da zanketen die Juden untereinander und sprachen: Wie kann dieser uns sein Fleisch zu essen geben?

Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, wahrlich, ich sage euch: Werdet ihr nicht essen das Fleisch des Menschensohnes und trinken sein Blut, so habt ihr kein Leben in euch.

Wer mein Fleisch isset und trinket mein Blut, der hat das ewige Leben, und ich werde ihn am Jüngsten Tage auferwecken. (aiōnios g166)

Denn mein Fleisch ist die rechte Speise, und mein Blut ist der rechte Trank.

Wer mein Fleisch isset und trinket mein Blut, der bleibt in mir und ich in ihm.

Wie mich gesandt hat der lebendige Vater, und ich lebe um des Vaters willen, also, wer mich isset, derselbige wird auch leben um meinetwillen.
58 Ko te taro tenei i heke iho i te rangi: e kore e pera i ta o koutou matua i kai ra, a mate ana; ki te kai tetahi i tenei taro, e ora tonu ia. (aiōn g165)
Dies ist das Brot, das vom Himmel kommen ist, nicht wie eure Väter haben Manna gegessen und sind gestorben. Wer dies Brot isset, der wird leben in Ewigkeit. (aiōn g165)

Solches sagte er in der Schule, da er lehrete zu Kapernaum.

Viele nun seiner Jünger, die das höreten, sprachen: Das ist eine harte Rede, wer kann sie hören?

Da Jesus aber bei sich selbst merkete, daß seine Jünger darüber murreten, sprach er zu ihnen: Ärgert euch das?
62 Ka pehea ra ki te kite koutou i te Tama a te tangata e kake atu ana ki te wahi i noho ai ia i mua?
Wie, wenn ihr denn sehen werdet des Menschen Sohn auffahren dahin; da er zuvor war?
63 Ko te wairua te whakaora ana; kahore a te kikokiko wahi: ko nga kupu e korero nei ahau ki a koutou he wairua, he ora.
Der Geist ist's, der da lebendig macht; das Fleisch ist kein nütze. Die Worte, die ich rede, die sind Geist und sind Leben.
64 Tenei ano ia etahi o koutou kahore o ratou whakapono. I matau hoki a Ihu no te timatanga ki nga mea kahore o ratou whakapono, ki te tangata ano e tukua ai ia.
Aber es sind etliche unter euch, die glauben nicht. Denn Jesus wußte von Anfang wohl, welche nicht glaubend waren, und welcher ihn verraten würde.
65 A ka mea ia, Na konei ahau i mea ai ki a koutou, Kahore he tangata e ahei te haere mai ki ahau, ki te kahore e hoatu ki a ia e toku Matua.
Und er sprach: Darum habe ich euch gesagt: Niemand kann zu mir kommen, es sei ihm denn von meinem Vater gegeben.
66 I taua wa he tokomaha ana akonga i hoki ki muri, a mutu ake ta ratou haere tahi me ia.
Von dem an gingen seiner Jünger viel hinter sich und wandelten hinfort nicht mehr mit ihm.
67 Na ka mea a Ihu ki te tekau ma rua, E mea ana ano ranei koutou kia haere?
Da sprach Jesus zu den Zwölfen: Wollt ihr auch weggehen?
68 Na ka whakahokia e Haimona Pita ki a ia, E te Ariki, me haere matou ki a wai? kei a koe nga kupu o te ora tonu. (aiōnios g166)
Da antwortete ihm Simon Petrus: HERR, wohin sollen wir gehen? Du hast Worte des ewigen Lebens; (aiōnios g166)
69 Kua whakapono matou, kua matau, ko te Karaiti koe, ko te Tama a te Atua ora.
und wir haben geglaubet und erkannt, daß du bist Christus, der Sohn des lebendigen Gottes.
70 Ka whakahokia e Ihu ki a ratou, he teka ianei kotahi tekau ma rua koutou i whiriwhiria e ahau, he rewera ano tetahi o koutou?
Jesus antwortete ihm: Hab' ich nicht euch Zwölfe erwählet? und euer einer ist ein Teufel.
71 Ko Hura Ikariote tama a Haimona tana i korero ai: ko te tanga hoki ia meake nei tuku i a ia; ko tetahi hoki ia o te tekau ma rua.
Er redete aber von dem Judas, Simons Sohn, Ischariot; derselbige verriet ihn hernach und war der Zwölfen einer.
