1 ൧ ആലയപ്രതിഷ്ഠാഗീതം; ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ പുകഴ്ത്തുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് സന്തോഷിക്കുവാൻ അവിടുന്ന് സന്ദർഭം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതുമില്ല.

A Psalm [and] Song [at] the dedication of the house of David. I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.

2 ൨ എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയോട് ഞാൻ നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ സൗഖ്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.

O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

3 ൩ യഹോവേ, അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിൽനിന്ന് കയറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങി പോകുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് അവിടുന്ന് എനിക്ക് ജീവരക്ഷ വരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. (Sheol h7585)

O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. (Sheol h7585)

4 ൪ യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധന്മാരേ, കർത്താവിന് സ്തുതിപാടുവിൻ; അവിടുത്തെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിന് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‌വിൻ.

Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

5 ൫ അവിടുത്തെ കോപം ക്ഷണനേരത്തേക്കേയുള്ളു; അവിടുത്തെ പ്രസാദമോ ജീവപര്യന്തമുള്ളത്; സന്ധ്യയ്ക്ക് കരച്ചിൽ വന്ന് രാത്രിയിൽ വസിക്കും; ഉഷസ്സിലാകട്ടെ ആനന്ദഘോഷം വരുന്നു.

For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.

6 ൬ “ഞാൻ ഒരുനാളും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല” എന്ന് എന്റെ സുരക്ഷിതകാലത്ത് ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

7 ൭ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ അങ്ങ് എന്നെ പർവ്വതം പോലെ ഉറച്ചു നില്‍ക്കുമാറാക്കി; അവിടുത്തെ മുഖം അങ്ങ് മറച്ചു, ഞാൻ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയി.

LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, [and] I was troubled.

8 ൮ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് നിലവിളിച്ചു; യഹോവയോട് ഞാൻ യാചിച്ചു.

I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

9 ൯ ഞാൻ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയാൽ എന്റെ രക്തംകൊണ്ട് എന്ത് ലാഭമാണുള്ളത്? ധൂളി അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കുമോ? അത് അങ്ങയുടെ സത്യം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുമോ?

What profit [is there] in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?

10 ൧൦ യഹോവേ, കേൾക്കണമേ; എന്നോട് കരുണയുണ്ടാകണമേ; യഹോവേ, എന്റെ രക്ഷകനായിരിക്കണമേ.

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.

11 ൧൧ അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ ദുഃഖത്തെ ആനന്ദമാക്കിത്തീർത്തു; അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ ചണവസ്ത്രം അഴിച്ച് എന്നെ സന്തോഷം ധരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു;

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

12 ൧൨ ഞാൻ മൗനമായിരിക്കാതെ അങ്ങേക്ക് സ്തുതി പാടേണ്ടതിനു തന്നെ. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ എന്നേക്കും അങ്ങേക്ക് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും.

To the end that [my] glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
