സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 16
Michtam of David. Keep me, O God; for I have taken refuge in Thee.
I have said unto the LORD: 'Thou art my Lord; I have no good but in Thee';
As for the holy that are in the earth, they are the excellent in whom is all my delight.
4 ൪ അന്യദേവനെ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവരുടെ വേദനകൾ വർദ്ധിക്കും; അവരുടെ രക്തപാനീയബലികളെ ഞാൻ അർപ്പിക്കുകയില്ല; അവരുടെ നാമങ്ങളെ എന്റെ നാവിന്മേൽ എടുക്കുകയുമില്ല.
Let the idols of them be multiplied that make suit unto another; their drink-offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take their names upon my lips.
5 ൫ എന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെയും പാനപാത്രത്തിന്റെയും പങ്ക് യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് എനിക്കുള്ള ഓഹരിയെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു.
O LORD, the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup, Thou maintainest my lot.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 ൭ എനിക്ക് ബുദ്ധി ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്ന യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വാഴ്ത്തും; രാത്രികാലങ്ങളിലും എന്റെ അന്തരംഗം എന്നെ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നു.
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel; yea, in the night seasons my reins instruct me.
8 ൮ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ എപ്പോഴും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ വച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തുള്ളതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല.
I have set the LORD always before me; surely He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth; my flesh also dwelleth in safety;
10 ൧൦ അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ പാതാളത്തിൽ വിടുകയില്ല. അങ്ങയുടെ പരിശുദ്ധനെ ദ്രവത്വം കാണ്മാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുകയുമില്ല. (Sheol h7585)
For Thou wilt not abandon my soul to the nether-world; neither wilt Thou suffer Thy godly one to see the pit. (Sheol h7585)
11 ൧൧ ജീവന്റെ വഴി അങ്ങ് എനിക്ക് കാണിച്ചുതരും; അങ്ങയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സന്തോഷപരിപൂർണ്ണതയും അങ്ങയുടെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് എന്നും പ്രമോദങ്ങളും ഉണ്ട്.
Thou makest me to know the path of life; in Thy presence is fulness of joy, in Thy right hand bliss for evermore.
